Having access to the rooftop helped since we had no view of the outdoors from our room that was on the first floor. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and the grounds well maintained. It was a charming looking building. I'd say the price matched well with what you get.

Our room on the first floor was dark with poor ventilation. It also felt very humid in the room in January. The window in our room opened to the hallway, close to the hotel entrance, so we didn't feel comfortable opening it due to lack of privacy. The rooms on the second floor seemed much better, unfortunately we could not switch rooms due to availability.

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood, cool, calm and peaceful day and night. The nearby restaurants are excellent. The optional breakfast, served on the terrace was very nice. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Daily maid service is optional, but one should ask for clean towels when needed and trash pickup. It was an easy walk or Uber into the center of town.

The room seemed much smaller than shown in the photos, but was very comfortable for just myself, with a fan, small window, and skylight in the bathroom. However, the tile floor was not so clean, and the walls could use a touch-up coat of paint. Keep in mind, this is an old property, and very charming, in keeping with other architecture in Antigua.

My bedroom is on the ground floor and so I had no natural light unless I opened the curtain to the hallway which in my small room was just too exposing. Antigua is an amazing city and there is so much to do and delicious places to eat and drink coffee. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast. The Terrace upstairs was sweet enough and the staff were really kind. This wasn't the most amazing place I stayed in Guatemala but it was good enough and very reasonably priced.

My room was a little dark.

The place is a close walk to the center. Very cozy, whether its hot or cold outside the room always had the perfect temperature. Staff is super nice and friendly. Very accomodating. It's kept very clean. Cool roof terrace with great views of all the volcanoes. Wopuld definitely stay again.

It would be good if there cold a place put the luggage so it's easy to access it. Had to keep it under the bed. Walls are a bit thin so sometimes you can hear people in the hallway or the next room. They should put some umbrellas on the rooftop for when it gets really hot so you could stay there longer.

I've stayed here twice now and love that it offers old world, colonial charm while being immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff is very kind and accommodating as well. The rooftop terrace is a great place to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine.

I only wish they would provide free coffee each morning. They provide a coffee kit for the first morning and then require you to pay if you want more throughout your stay. I also find it a bit tacky that they charge for bubbles if you stay in the room with the bathtub. They should just be included.

The place is a charming, family-run hotel. It's small and well-appointed, and very "Antigüeño," meaning it suits the town perfectly. Comfortable, good hot water and water pressure. The staff is all family, and very kind and helpful.

This is a tiny thing, but they only give you water and coffee for the coffee machine the first day you arrive. I stayed 5 days, so had to get them elsewhere--it just seemed a little skimpy. It's also farther from the parque central than I had expected it to be, but on the other hand, it was also nice and quiet. This would not be a good place for someone who needs ADA compliance, just FYI.

Amazing place! Quite, clean and good facilities. Favorite place I stayed in Guatemala. A bit away from the center but the walk is nice and for that reason it is calmer. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and the rooftop is great. Also the best shower I had. Good pressure and warm water. 10/10 and next time I come back I will book again

I love the property it was small not crowded or loud, and rustic. It was located in a nice and quite safe neighborhood. I love the room we stayed on the second floor it was beautiful it had that rustic feeling , nice view, spacious and clean room. Hot water wonderful shower. The weather was hot even thought we stayed end of June beginning of July and they were able to provide a fan. The staff were very nice, always helpful. They even let me use their lap top in my room to make my airline check in. We went to other towns on this trip and came back and stay a second time when we got back to Antigua.

Breakfast was not included, no air conditioner but a fan was available. It appears there is church in every neighborhood in Antigua and church bell ring at 6:45 am announcing 7 am mass.

Nice quiet location. Easy to walk to the centre. The balcony was lovely. Very pretty inside the hotel and garden. Room decor authentic and creative. Lovely colours.

Our room was below the terrace which was supposed to close at 10pm. Noisy, inconsiderate guests during the night kept me awake. Nowhere to hang your clothes. The terrace was untidy and the chairs and tables dusty. Disappointing as from the photos I expected a more attractive terrace. The hotel states it has a tour desk. The staff were not able to give me much accurate information about tourist bus shuttles.

Really nice little oasis of a hotel. Quiet and comfortable, and just a short walk from anything you could need or want in Antigua. I booked a small room but it was well apportioned and the staff were super helpful. The roof terrace is lovely with great views of the volcano and across the city. I had one day's rest/remote work waiting for my flight back after a work trip and it was perfect for me.

No complaints. It's definitely not a luxury place but it's very nice and great value for money.
