Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. In terms of ticking all the boxes it was in retrospect our favourite accommodation in Guatemala (we stayed in 8 different places). Great location - it's just outside the centre, about ten minutes walk from the main square which meant quieter area at night so a good thing. We had two different rooms here, this the king, was our first, and was vast and absolutely beautiful - the bed possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in, gorgeous pillows and bedding. Window looks out onto upper shared area/terrace - issue for some maybe in terms of privacy but didn't bother us and is normal for hotels in Antigua. Julia and team were welcoming, friendly and professional. We were exhausted and sleep deprived when we arrived after our journey from hell and it took us at least a couple of days to acclimatise and adjust - we couldn't have been in a better place for that. When I had a panic that I'd lost my money belt at the market (it turned up in the bathroom after a frantic search!) they were understanding, calm and reassuring. They were also happy to book trips/buses for us although for various reasons we didn't need in the end. Breakfast was good and coffee limitless. A really lovely hotel that we'd love to return to one day highly recommended.

The hotel was walking distance to everything and fairly quiet inside (other then the constantly barking dog next door but that is not the hotels fault and the fan drowned it out mostly) Bed was SO comfy (new mattress with a plush mattress topper) Hotel very clean Water was hot, our bathroom was huge. Drinking water provided, shampoo & conditional and body soap provided. Fan provided. Staff was competent and efficient. They booked transport back to the airport for us for 45 US dollars. Breakfast was tasty. All you can drink coffee. wifi excellent

barking dog next door. If you can close the windows it will be very quiet in the room but we get hot at night, we come from a cold climate, so we needed to sleep with them open. They did provide a fan which drown out outside noises and helped us stay cooler. Breakfast was great one day. The other day it was lukewarm. In all fairness if I spoke Spanish I probably could have expressed this to them and they probably would have brought a warm breakfast.

Sweet little hotel in Antigua with good breakfast and a planted Atrium which looks like a small zen garden. The showers were hot and spacy and the rooms were clean and smelled well. We had a great stay. The reception is open 24h (correct me if I am wrong) and the service was friendly and helpful. We could even leave our big backpacks at the reception until the room was ready for us. Breakfast is served between 7:30 to 9 AM. Would recommend. P.S.: if you need a quiet sleep, try to get a room located away from the street, since the walls are narrow and you can hear the loud chicken busses passing by.

I loved the breakfast and how quickly we got it too.....and so nice to sit out on their verandah to eat. I thought the room sizes were very good too.....not tiny at all. And very welcoming to our pets.....it was an easy place to be with them. The receptionist was also helpful with my questions about flights and when to arrive at the airport. Also very willing to order food for us or to advise us how to order food.

Our room was very comfortable but didn't have very many electrical outlets.....maybe they could provide electrical strips to help with that.

Great location, short walk to the main part of the city & close to lots of food options. Really nice staff. Felt safe as a young woman walking around even when it got dark. The bathroom in our room was pretty big. Shower was nice. Breakfast was yummy! Really cute place :)!

The room itself was a bit small, but didn't bother me. Also it was a little hot in the room, but there was a plug-in fan that kept us cool as we were sleeping (if you're not in the range of the fan it does get quite hot)

The staff was exceptionally good. Couple of names come to mind - Vivian, Marcos, Julia. We had some inexperienced and nervous tourists in our group and the staff made sure to answer all their questions to satisfaction. They made a lot of little and big customizations for us which was much appreciated. They went above and beyond in many cases.

Breakfast offering could have been better. There were a very limited number of things to chose from and tea wasn't available. The rooms aren't sound proof at all. Even regular conversations can be easily heard across hallways, even inside other rooms! Despite these shortcomings, I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Loved the quiet nature of the hotel and the atmosphere is chill and welcoming. The staff were exceptional. Special shout out to the receptionist who welcomed me and helped with my backpack when she saw I was limping. Very very nice hotel.

I think the rooms on the ground floor don't have windows that face outside but face in to the courtyard so your curtains better be well closed with no chance of natural light. I was offered a room upstairs in all fairness, just pointing out the obvious

The staff were so friendly, kind, and helpful! The room was spacious & I found the wifi to be strong enough for streaming. Included breakfast was great, and the location was convenient. It was affordable, beautiful, convenient, comfortable, clean. I would gladly stay again!

The only thing a bit awkward was that the windows open into the courtyard, and they open into the room so there is no way to have the fresh air + curtains closed. But this is clearly shown in the photos so I knew it before choosing the hotel, and it is a very common layout for the city. It did not bother me.

The room (king suite) was very nice and we were served a delicious basic breakfast. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

As in most of Guatemala, English was not spoken often but through Google translate we communicated. Owner does have good grasp of English. Coffee at breakfast really missed the boat considering Guatemala is famous for it.

the outdoor patio was beautiful and quiet. perfect for reading or having a cup of coffee. The staff was helpful with transportation and suggestions for restaurants. The breakfast was delicious!

Our room was on the second floor and we had two large heavy suitcases that we were bringing for a mission trip - they were a pain to get up the steps. The staff was helped but still a pain.
