We did get upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was nice. The room is very large (especially by European standards). Very nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The common areas were also lovely and comfortable. (Their luggage storage lockers are fabulous - all hotels should have them. You get your own locker and combination!)

After staying a couple of nights on the Buda side, we stayed here for a few nights in Oct to explore the Pest side of the city. Location: We selected this hotel due to its location. Its just a 3 min walk from the hub of public transportion Deak Ferenc square. So we could take the various metro lines & tram to visit the major sights. The Budapest Tourist Information Center is also located at the square. Hotel & Room: The hotel seems brand new with a welcoming & helpful front desk staff. The room was spacious with all the amenities that you could ask for including a small kitchenette, hot water kettle for making tea / coffee and a mini-refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and there was ample lighting in the room. The linen and towels provided were of the highest quality. Bathroom had a separate area for WC and shower. The hot water pressure in the shower was less than ideal, compared to the other hotels where we stayed during the same trip. Complementary water bottles were provided and the room cleaned by housekeeping staff daily. A coffee machine is provided in the lobby and it is free to use by hotel guests 24x7. Breakfast was not included in our room tariff and we did not opt for it. Dining options: Cafes & restaurants are plentiful within a radius of 3-5 mins from the hotel. Airport: Shuttle Bus 100E with departures every 15-20 mins takes passengers from Deak Ferenc square to Budapest International Airport. We chose this option over taxi on our departure day and within 50 mins we were dropped off at the airport. Tickets are available at the vending machine kiosk next to the Bus stop. It is that convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we were to visit Budapest again. Thank you Emerald Downtown Suites for a lovely & comfortable stay.

This hotel is a very good choice for a short stay in Budapest. Location is very good. Easy to go everywhere and easy to use public transport. We used 100E bus from and to the airport as it is very cheap and the bus stop is about 5min way from the hotel. The hotel is very modern and beautiful. Everything was designed to help people feel really good during the stay. Our room (410) was very spacious. There was very good storage space (I was very impressed) - plenty space in two (yes - 2!!!) double door wardrobes. Also plenty storage space in the bathroom. There was a small fridge, a sink and Nespresso coffee machine in the room. We also had a balcony with two chairs and a small table (very nice to spend some time after all the sightseeing). The bathroom was very spacious and had seperate WC and walk-in shower (no problem with hot water, no problem with water pressure). WiFi very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. I highly recommend.

The air-condition was not working enough - when we wanted to sleep with opened balcony doors (as it was too hot) we couldn't as there is a sitting bar area in the inside yard and people were talking and drinking till late.

lovely rooms, bar staff lovely as well as housekeeping staff. room was cleaned to perfection every day and the lady in housekeeping on the fifth floor during my stay was exceptionally good.

staff seemed to be a bit different with foreigners, laughing amongst themselves in Hungarian, some staff were absolutely lovely, especially the lady who checked me in, but some didn’t hide their personal feelings towards guests and their nationalities. I was only able to decipher this after repeating what I could make out in Hungarian to a friend from Debrecen who was able to tell me in full confidence what was going on. doesn’t affect the stay too much but it would be nice to have less of that when speaking to receptionists.

We have had an amazing staying experience at Emerald Suites. Downtown, close to main shopping streets and popular bar-restaurants of Pest. A few minutes walking from Chain bridge, Parliament and St. Stephen Basilica. A spacious (35sq.met) room with balcony and various amenities was more than we asked for a few days of relaxation. Great breakfast and smooth communication with the reception desk for anything we needed (massage arrangement, left back of our luggage after check-out).

Everything was as expected and.more, Coffee machine in apartment/room, 24hr cofffe in the downstairs relaxing area (along with an apple) much to fault the place. The loan of an umbrella should it rain, the cleaninfg team, the reception team and the breakfast team were all amazing and alwats there to answer any questions. The whole experiance was just perfect, Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Budapest It was exceptional..

There was absolutley nothing I didn't like. I cant concieve anyone having any issue with this amazing hotel. Comfort in every aspect, Food simply wonderful and so tasty. The drinks at the bar, just right, at the end of day, made to perfection.

We booked the King Suite and it was fabulous! Basically a mini-apartment with 1.5 baths, a kitchenette, washer/dryer, and large balcony in a fantastic location near the well-known shopping street. The shower was very cool with a ceiling shower head and three spa-like options for water flow. Would stay here again!

My ONLY complaint is that the bed mattress was very hard and it was warm in the apartment but the front desk sent up a fan.
