The location is fantastic. Near to the airport bus / trams / metro at Deak Ferenc. There are so many nice places to drink and eat nearby and lots of amenities. Even a Starbucks on the corner. The hotel itself has been wrapped around a church and the courtyard faces out into that. It’s just such a lovely vibe from the minute you walk in. Our room was lovely and the automatic curtains were such a great touch.

Only issue we had is the power of the shower when you press the buttons for the large shower head it was so powerful that we flooded the bathroom floor. It wasn’t a huge deal but we did have to use all the towels to mop it up so had to ask the maid to give us fresh ones the next day. Just something to be weary of. The shower was absolutely amazing besides that.

We booked a superior room and got room 333 initially, however, it was so small we could barely open our luggage on the floor. Reception was super friendly and accomodating and let us change to a different room. ++++. Much appreciated.

It is very well located. Close to public transport, restaurants and sights. A nice touch was having coffee available all the time.

My Husband and I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel which I chose by customers reviews. First, the location is exceptional, You can go by walking to many places of interst. When you need a taxi you ask the staff at the desk and your taxi is alredy waiting for you within 1-2 minutes. The facilities : I never had such a perfect experience : the room was nice, big enough for 2, the modern and nice shower, coffee machine and a small fridge, toiletries nd everything tou may need for a nice and comfortable stay. In the beautifully decorated loby ther is a coffee machine and cold/warm/sparkling water machine, at your service around the clock. The breakfast is unforgetable, so many dishes to chose from, vegetables, meat and cheese, salads, all kind of eggs, cakes and so on. We ate in the evening once and the goulash soup was very tasty. But, most of all, there was the staff, helpful, friendly, ready to fulfill every need or wish, with the kindest smile. We especially appreciated the service received from IRINA, helped us in so many ways during a time of distress.

The only small thing I could ask from our room is some more space for our staff, for the suitcase and the rest.

The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of the main attractions. The facilities were excellent and both the available choice and quality of the breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped and the staff were extremely helpful. I would definitely book this hotel again if I return to Budapest.

Only minor issue was that I decided to use the hotel's laundry service as this was a stop as part of a longer trip. The laundry had not been collected from reception however so this was not completed. It was a genuine mistake and the reception staff were very apologetic and offered to compensate which wasn't necessary.

Hotel was lovely, staff very helpful and got us into our room early at 12:30, as I had worked the entire night before this was hugely appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable, only had breakfast one day as we're not morning people but what was available was very nice. Possibly a little expensive for a buffet but Budapest is expensive in itself so probably is accurate. Free umbrellas to take and return was a great idea and handy with the rain. Overall very happy and would recommend. large storage room with lockers to store luggage, big enough to hold full sized bags.

No major complaints about the hotel, certainly nothing that was worth mentioning to the staff. Anything I write here would just be nit picking for the sake of it.

The very first time I travel to Budapest , so naturally I was a little concerned about the lodging facilities, etc. Fortunately, I made the right choice in booking my stay with Emerald Hotel & Suites. The hotel is top rated, excellent location near metro, very clean and modern, but especially important is the staff. Vinczéné Chiriac Irina at reception is the perfect host, she helped put all my doubts to rest. She helped to arrange taxi service from port (we arrived via Viking river boat cruise) to hotel, and from hotel to airport. She spoke perfect English, very gracious, allowed us to check in early at 10am, and overall take care of us and put our minds at ease. Without any hesitation, I can say Vinczéné Chiriac Irina is the best hotel host I ever encountered and when I come back to Budapest, Emerald will be my first choice. Thanks to Irina. Thumbs up recommendation to everyone!!!

The location of the hotel is central, in district V with walking distance to restaurants, landmarks and to the subway lines 1-3. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities and guestrooms is to highlight. We also appreciated the free and good coffee from the machine at any time of the day in the lobby. The hotel staff was really kind, especially Irina who helped us a lot with the street parking. It is not easy to navigate by car around budapest downtown with the one way or pedestrian streets. The best way to access the hotel when you drive could be via Petőfi Sándor utca. Google can be misleading.
