I really appreciate communication with the hotel reception staff. They were very nice and helpful. We have asked for a few things which were solved in a second. Hotel is really good, clean, well designed and the location is amazing. Everything is close.

There are few things - right next to hotel is a huge reconstruction going on which means that it is very loud. Bed was not comfortable. And it was very hot in the room. Heating cannot be regulated and it was on its maximum so we could not sleep at all.

Staff is great and welcoming, always willing to help from the check in time till the check out. Location is right in the center with walking distance to most of the interesting places. We got a daily free welcoming drink and sandwich at the hotel bar - was really good to start the evening with a glass of wine and small sandwich.

One day we came early back to the hotel to have noon rest and there were lots of noise from next building constructions. we could not have a rest.

Location is excellent if you like to be in the very center of Vaci Street, the main pedestrian only shopping street of Budapest. The Mercure City Center hotel also has very accommodating staff, that changed my room on the spot when they saw we were traveling with 5 large bags. They let us keep our big luggage securely for five days without any fee and gave us a reliable system of receipts. Every day, they made the room spotless and the cleaners were very kind. This hotel is amazing and I highly recommend it. It’s worth it for the place and the convenience of visiting Budapest.

I can’t think of anything negative, the hotel was superb in every aspect, and the staff was very courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The only drawback I can imagine is the uncertainty of finding a parking spot, but the city has plenty of trains, trams, buses, and cabs, so you can get around without a car.

The hotel is in the heart of Budapest not far from the Danube on the famous pedestrian zone Váci street. Everything is close to the accommodation place. It is very safe even at late hours. I mean I enjoy taking a stroll on the streets at midnight.

I have only to let Fall a small remark regarding the bathroom. In the room where I stayed the spray hose was leaking and the water sprinkled all over the place and after the shower I had to wipe with the towel the wet floor in order not to slide. I hope it will be mend. Otherwise I don’t have any complaints about my stay.

The location was exceptionally convenient, allowing for easy access to shopping centers, the Budapest Wheel, and numerous nearby attractions.

In order to unwind, I scheduled a massage. The masseuse was quite pleasant, but the treatment room was situated next to the gym, and the noise from the ongoing workout on the other side of the door was not conducive to relaxation. I would advise relocating the treatment room to a more tranquil area of the hotel.

Everything, the room was excellent, good size clean, modern and tidy plus the bed was very comfortable. The Breakfast was superb and the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - we will be back end of year.

The disco Saturday night around the back of the Hotel. It didn't upset us to much especially as it finished around 12 and you are in the city but it was the only negative thing I could think off.

Everything was superb , I would like to thanks the front desk guys to allow me to check-in 4 hours before my check in time 🙏😘 it's was really helpful, Second thing the hotel was well decorated from inside and out side, it's in the heart of the city center near by all like , shopping shops, restaurants, food street, tourist attractions, room clean and conformable. It's best hotel in Budapest.

The location was superb.right in the middle of vaci utva.close to all.atraction and trasnportation is so easy and you have many possibilities to choose from. The breakfast si very very good with a lot of cold and hot options(something you dont usullay find in european city hotels)the room is just enough and new woth housekeeping cleaning every day. We were really pleased as a family with a 4 year old travelling with us.

Loved the Hotel location, very hand to all the tourist sites, restaurants and shopping.

We had our 2 rooms on the 1st floor. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work correctly, it kept reverting to 28oC and could not be adjusted. Staff advised unable to be fixed as floors 1 and 2 were on a different circuit to rest of the Hotel. Worth knowing not to stay on these floors.

Excellent location just on Vaci utca, in center of town. Very good breakfast. Spacious and clean room. Friendly staff.

The hotel staff cannot or does not know to handle all its 200+ guests. Waited 30 minutes for check in(!) Waited daily up to 25 minutes in queue to breakfast. Several separated elevators that usually some don't always work. Safe started to bip in the middle of night (nightmare), battery taken out the next day. Gym - old/malfunction equipment, located outside the hotel (at freezing temperature it's not so cool). No towel service available if you wish to visit hot spa facility in town (bring your own).
