Iconic hotel with some great features in keeping with hard rock. Rooms very clean and modern.

Light switches/heating is hard to work - over complicated as everything is button operated and would be very confusing for anyone not technically minded. Bathroom layout is strange with the sink inside the bedroom and nowhere to change after the shower if you were sharing a room

Very comfortable beds and pillows, had a great night sleep! Nice and quiet.

I was a bit disappointed that upon check out we were presented with a bill for £81 for the minibar when we only had one coke. Although the receptionist rectified the issue there was no apology or explanation given other than ‘the maid must have written the room number wrong’

Staff (reception, bar, restaurant, kitchen, cleaning staff etc.) very professional, helpful and kind - which is rare in Hungary. Breakfast very good quality, a lot of option for vegetariens. Good restaurant. Decoration and the atmosphere of the hotel is fantastic, there is a "positive spirit" inside. The machines in the fitness room are excellent. Location is perfect (bars and restaurants, concert halls, theatres, supermarkets are in 3 mins walking distance), the neighbourhood is safe The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was a very pleasant smell in the hotel.

Toilet is basically in the room - not well isolated.

We stayed last weekend for 3 nights in a gold suite. The staff all around the hotel and bar were very nice. The hotel is spotless and amazing to look around at all of the celebrity memorabilia! The rooftop bar was only open on Friday & Saturdays so we had some drinks there Saturday evening which were good, the location of the hotel is very near to bars and restaurants anyway and getting Bolt taxi’s is also very easy and cheap. Budapest is very good value for drinks including cocktails! The hot tub that came with our room was lovely, we underestimated how hot Budapest would be in June (34 degrees!) Room cleaned every day and towels changed if we wanted. There was only espresso with the coffee machine (no milk) so I did not use it more than once. The bed was sooo comfy and king size, also loved the power shower! My only criticism is being on the 7th floor, there is a staff room right next to our bedroom and we heard a lot of noise especially early in the morning trolleys being wheeled about and things smashing etc, I feel it’s a bit strange to have this staff room right next to the suites. We didn’t realise the mini bar would have been entirely free until our last night so struggled to have it all! Some instructions on the coffee machine and info on free mini bar would have been useful. Our room issue was the lack of good air conditioning as other reviews have mentioned, it doesn’t seem to go lower than 19c and therefore we were very hot in the night when trying to sleep. If that improved it would be amazing! Thank you for a good stay.

Very well located. Great room, very clean rooms and friendly staff. Bed was super comfy and even has a pillow menu! Lots of small touches that really make it stand out. Water was always replenished. Really interesting memorabilia scattered around, much like the restaurants.

Food was by no means bad, but not as good as the hard rock cafe’s. Which was a little disappointing. The bar was also quite small, felt this could have been given more space and had more of an atmosphere. These are only very small things!

Hard Rock Hotels always have an exquisite attention to details and this one was no exception. The atmosphere, facilities, staff and quality was all top notch. Great restaurant and bar (open til late) and even room service through the night meant that you were always catered for. The lobby staff were incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to help. The bed was comfortable, shower was powerful and room in general was a pleasant retreat to retire to after a long day of walking the city.

The ONLY thing I could mark them down on, is testament to the amazing service they offer. We visited during Christmas party season which meant event spaces were being used for big groups, the roof-top bar was occasionally closed and our 6th floor room (under the rooftop) was susceptible to a bit of noise.

We stayed in the gold suite with hot tub. Room was on 7th floor and quiet. Everywhere was spotless. I had requested a bottle of prosecco in the room which was there when we checked in. We were also given a complimentary dessert as I'd made hotel aware we were celebrating our anniversary. We braved the hot tub in the snow which was lovely once we were in. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and the pancake machine was a novelty! Hotel is within walking distance of shops restaurants and the river. Overall we loved our stay here.

The outside area with the hot tub didn't have any cover so is open to the elements. The hotel asked for payment and a deposit at check in but then we were asked for payment again when checking out. Only charged once but its a bit confusing.

Property was amazing, we went for our honeymoon in December and our room was upgraded to the most amazing suite. The staff were fantastic, breakfast was lovely, the location was also amazing especially for the Christmas markets. I still can’t believe how kind the staff were especially the man with the velvet jacket on who took us to our room he was such a professional member of staff and so lovely! Would def return here again. The interior was also out of this world!

Nothing negative to say!

Location was good, being only a few minutes walk from the Basilica and River Danube. A Spar shop and good pubs around the corner add to its location. Staff were very friendly albeit many were new to the job so couldn't assist with questions regarding menu ingredients etc. Everything was clean and modern.

Only 2 coffee pods in the hotel per day and no spoons to stir your coffee with. Lamborghini coffee maker was terribly slow and noisy. No lock on toilet door which is fully obscured glazed so with the light on, the entire room can watch you. Ordered breakfast to the room on the last day and this was delivered without cutlery. By the time the cutlery had been brought to us the breakfasts were cold so new breakfasts were needed. Silly small things letting down an otherwise great stay

Location is very good, the hotel as a whole got its special vibe thanks to many music related decoration - as it is in the franchises world famous hard rock cafes...so you can except the same, but in a hotel :) in overall an excellent hotel.

Noiseproofing of the room was not good enough. Especially in the morning, when you want to sleep a bit longer, but you are disturbed by the noises from the corridors - other guests leaving their rooms, room service etc. 35 euros for parking per night is a bit too much..... but in the end there is much more positive than negative so would recommend and would stay at the hotel next time I will be in Budapest.
