This hotel is so well placed for transport links and visiting the major tourist attractions. Its outlook isn't particularly attractive but in all other respects the hotel is perfectly placed for sightseeing. Staff were very helpful and willing to provide detailed directions and suggest venues to visit. Breakfast included a good variety of hot and cold foods. I reckon most people could find something to their liking.

I do find it frustrating when one arrives in a hotel room to find things not working. And even when staff were told about what wasn't working it never got repaired (as far as I am aware).

We had the suite and it was amazing, the terrace was huge and you could see for miles. The bed was comfortable and it was peaceful. The shower was big and powerful. Breakfast was a good selection of continental options. Along with some cooked options. Filled us up for the day. The location is pretty good, it’s central to most things. We did the hop on hop off bus tour and stop number 8 is just the opposite side of the road.

Nothing really, the staff were helpful when needed. If I had to say something the telly in the room is a bit small for the size of the room. But that’s being picky.

The location is nice: you can easily reach bus/tram/metro lines and it is pretty close to the center. The room was large and there was a kitchen counter with a basic kitchen stuff. Also there was a terrace with a nice view. A breakfast was decent, we enjoyed it.

Despite all the upsides there were defected roller blinds: 2 of 5 was permanently in a "close" condition and the one at the terrace entrance wasn't able to open completely which might cause a possible danger to heart a head. Another disappointment was the sewer in the bathroom: the floor filled with water very fast and the whole bathroom became flooded.

Lovely central location within the city, short walk to metro & tram, walkable to nyugati railway station. Good sized room, good temperature control, windows will open!

Stopped overnight here a few times, an unglamorous but totally ok place to stay at a reasonable price. I was aware of roadworks on previous visit but they weren't too disruptive from my room. This time I arrived late and in need of a good sleep - was 20m above the workmen who were on site and working by 6.15 and started up a relentless digger at 7.55, the hotel was shaking! Not Medos's fault but I won't return until the roadworks are completed.

I loved everything about my stay and the Medos Hotel in general. The staff is very really friendly and helpful to a fault, very polite and always willing to support. I loved the breakfast in particular which is rich and various. I absolutely adored the room and the view from my floor since it overlooks Jokai Ter and the nearby buildings. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a bathtub just like I am used to. There's also a minibar and the WiFi reception is optimal. Absolutely great stay. Also, most importantly, the hotel is close to the metro and the tram but also really close to lots of bars and restaurants (even a 24h open mini market and a petshop too). I hope to come back here again soon.

There's literally nothing I didn't like.

We booked a comfort room. It was very specious, much more than expected, in the newly built wing of the hotel, very lit up with big windows and a large comfortable bathroom. Temperature in the room could be adjusted to our liking. The location was great, walking distance to all the main attractions and many restaurants around the corner. Breakfast was very good too!

The room was not cleaned very well during our stay. There is a bit of room for improvement in this area. It was still ok but it could be improved a bit.

The location is excellent—within walking distance to almost everything. It’s right at Oktogon Square, conveniently connected to the Oktogon metro line. The room was clean, large and had a heater inside the bathroom, great for cold days. The staff was also very kind and helpful throughout our stay.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The room was too hot for us, and there was no functionality for cold air in the air conditioning. Also, the shower has only half a door, so water spilled a little outside.

- the view on the terrace at the 10th level is absolutely magnificent (you can see the Parliament, the Basilica, the Castle) - the room is spacious - good breakfast - good WiFi - excellent location for any sightseeing options, good restaurants or simply walking in the city

- during summer the heat on the terrace is extremely high, thus preventing you from spending too much time over there, which truly is a pity, a big umbrella placed over there would be great! - there is no natural light in the bathroom which is also a pity because the views no longer exist, practically the huge window is completely covered - the A/C system is rather old and it could definitely use improvements throughout the room - I have been visiting this hotel during the last 2 years (for work during those times) and I could see the difference with the breakfast, the options that you have mainly. this time I have seen somehow a lil bit of decline, but maybe it is due to the very high number of tourists in the hotel and the increasing inflation which is also visible in Hungary

Comfy rooms with lovely view towards a big garden and old architecture around, breakfast was ok, enough to help one start the day well, staff very helpful and nice, locations really good within walking distance of many landmarks, as well as well communicated (3 mins away from metro and tram stations). Paid parking on spot ensured the car could be left safely throughout the entire stay.

Honestly, it was above my expectations and I would gladly return there. Breakfast is the only weaker point of this hotel, but overall really good place to stay for a city break in Budapest.
