From the moment we entered tge hotel, great atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect location for the city, river, bridges, castle.Reception staff provided maps and directions tions, showed an interest in what we wanted to do. Given a very nice room, 108, located at rear of hotel. Free drink at the bar in evening. Breakfast sat outside on the courtyard in the early sun was excellent. Will definitely use again.

The property’s location, staff and breakfast were all excellent!!! It was right in the downtown in the Pest side and everything was in walkable distance. Lots of restaurants cafes and bars nearby, including Mitico which is the bar inside the hotel that serves the breakfast. The staff were kind and friendly making sure everything is good and we are having a nice stay. The breakfast was varied, mostly with the basics of a hotel breakfast but some extra goodies were also there. The room was warm when the heater was on so in the winter thats a plus.

The room could be arranged a little better. There wasn’t anything to hang our towels on to so we had to hang them on the chairs of the room. Also having a lot of suitcases will not help. We had 1 20kg one that luckily it fit exactly into the closet but the other two and shoes were taking up space on the floor. The hot water in the shower is limited to some liters. We had to take baths kinda fast and we would turn off the water when soaping 🧼 to save it. Keep this in mind when booking for more than 2 people. The water will be warm again in some hours.

Nice, clean and quiet room, in a central position, perfect to visit Budapest on foot or by renting a scooter (there’s a lot of Lime or Tier points around the hotel). Rich and abundant breakfast, with excellent scrambled eggs and bread choice, and the opportunity for guests to drink espresso coffee prepared by very kind waiters. Reception managed by friendly, helpful, and smiling staff, particularly Amir. We really enjoyed visiting the museum located in the basement, which testifies to the history of the neighborhood and of the building itself that houses the hotel, telling a story that is at times moving. We highly recommend this hotel!

I would like to suggest adding fresh fruit to the breakfast buffet and making firmer pillows available for guests. The pillows we had were unfortunately quite soft and caused neck discomfort.

Hotel Mika Downtown met all our expectations and provided a very pleasant experience. The rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable, making the stay truly enjoyable. The staff is friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. The breakfast exceeded our expectations - it was varied, plentiful, and delicious. The hotel's location is also a great advantage, as it is close to major landmarks, the city center, and a metro station, allowing for easy exploration of all attractions. Overall, our stay at Hotel Mika Downtown was exceptional, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and affordable accommodation in Budapest.

Nice hotel situated in an old renovated building. Excellent location. Excellent idea to place a "secret museum" in the basement. Good sized rooms, good breakfast ( cannot expect more ). I wouldn't say it costs the additional 12 euro but somebody can eat more. So it is "convenient" breakfast. Nice, friendly and helpful staff.

Two notes: 1. There should have been a "convenience kit" in such hotel: slippers, shower cap, shoe cleaner ( nevertheless there is a shoe-cleaning machine at the entrance ). Maybe tooth-cleaning kit. Shampoo and a soap are not enough. Some umbrellas for the customers could be a good extra. 2. I don't think artificial flowers in the restaurant add a value, they add dust.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. With easy access to transportation options like the Airport bus 100E, subway, and tram lines, Bubi bikes station(local bike sharing), exploring the city was a breeze. Additionally, the abundance of bars and restaurants nearby added to the convenience and vibrancy of the area. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay. I found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable. I loved having two separate toilets in our flat. They offered a wide variety of options at breakfast, making it the perfect start to each day of my trip. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mika downtown and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Location was good, close to the main sightseeing places. Breakfast was of high quality, the choices could be more, as when you stay for 4-5 days, it gets boring to eat the same food, but this is an issue in most of the hotels. They also provided welcome drink vouchers, we used it at the last day, thanks for that.

The room itself was okay, but not much comfortable. For example the placements of the faucets, or cupboard weren’t uncomfortable. Room cleaning is not good, just making the bed and towel change. Could be better. But in general I recommend the hotel.

The room we had was super spacious, it was actually an apartment with two separate double bedrooms. It was suitable for 6 people + it had also a couch possible to open. It was clean, containing also a kitchen, 2 Bathrooms and a separate extra toilet. The location is amazing for exploring the city even by foot. It is in a vibrant bar / restaurant area, very nice also for young people who look for night life. The breakfast in the hotel was quite nice, there were different things to choose, anyone can find something for himself. In the evening the breakfast area of the hotel turns in a nice bar, for which we got by the arrival free drink coupons.

The hotel has no own parking, generally it is hard for parking space in Budapest. But there is a great deal close by, a locked Parking garage for 25 Euro a day.

Excellent location. Very central for bus, trams, metro, restaurants and bars. Hotel staff were very helpful. Large breakfast selection, hot and cold. Room was comfortable with large en-suite. Had a safe, fridge and hot drink making facilities. Enjoyed having a bar attached to the hotel with live music at the weekends,

Breakfast seating area was not very spacious. The toaster was very popular but there was only one two slice toaster available.
