The room was nice, clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed having the window towards the inner courtyard as it offered a very quiet night this way. Hotel staff were all very nice, respectful, patient and ready to give sightseeing ideas and instructions on how to get somewhere. The location is perfect, close to the very center of the city - it only takes 15 minutes to walk there. There are endless restaurants, cafes, pubs nearby and all sorts of touristy shops as well as a very quaint antiques'. The metro station and bus stop are right around the corner.

The room was a bit on the small side (standard double room), but being out sightseeing most of the day it was still ok for the short stay. If it'd have been a longer stay, I would've chosen a bigger room. The parking fee is a little steep (it comes out a bit pricey vs street parking or other garages), but totally worth it if you want your car conveniently right there.

we were out all day from about 10am to 11pm ..liked the 24 hour manned reception...and bar Excellent position for 49 tram and the metro at Kalvin ter...very easy to get about Staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke English Good varied breakfast buffet Room was small but had everything that we needed

we were there for World Athletics Championships in Budapest ......I would have expected staff to have information regarding easiest way to get to the stadium...also didnt seem to know where Airport Express Bus went from. Easiest way to stadium was Metro Green line Kalvin Tre to Fovam ter which is 1 stop then transfer to tram 2 also at Fovam Ter to the end of the line. 100E airport express bus stop was actually on the next road.

Central and accessible location. Plenty of options to get around the city. The Hotel itself is secure, very clean and well-maintained. We tried the breakfast buffet on our last day, and has good selections and worth it for the price.

Very small room. It's a good thing I'm alone, otherwise, it would be very cramped for 2 people. The lighting is also very dim. I travelled during winter but the heater is way too hot! I just turned it off because I was sweating. For those planning to stay here, just FYI: No ref, no coffee/tea-making facility (but you can order at the main lobby), no safety locker, and tv has very limited English channels. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this hotel & I had an overall nice stay.

Location is perfect. Walking distance to everything! 100E bus stop is 2 mins walk away (airport-city-airport). Staff were great, very friendly, especially the ones at the breakfast. They even prepared sugar free oats for me, because the one already made had sugar. Also, the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, with a selection of hot and cold dishes.

Room size is ok, but the bathroom is so small! Also, there was sewage smell coming from the tub. Overall cleaning was good, however under the bed it was very dirty.

I enjoyed staying at IBIS Budapest Centrum. It was my first time in Budapest and after a long working period without a travel abroad I travelled to Budapest with my husband. The hotel met our expectations greatly. It was at the centrum, close to many places one would like to see when staying in Budapest. It was cosy and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed it a lot and look forward to staying at IBIS Budapest Centrum next time. Thank you very much to all of you guys!

I do not have a negative impression. I am afraid I do not have a comment here. There was a little renovation going on inside the main gate and even that did not pose a problem for us thanks to the careful management of the construction period.

- The location of the hotel is in my opinion very good, near the metro station, old market and restaurants. There are places to visit that are far away from the hotel, but to be fair it will be the same for any other hotel. - Breakfast had everything I needed and more. - Internet was good.

- The room is very small. I have been in other Ibis hotels and this was by far the smallest room. - The ceiling is very low, I am 1.90m and I was feeling like touching it, specially when you entered the shower and had to climb a small step. I do not know if all the rooms are like this room but people around 2.00 m or above are going to have problems. You have been warned :)

Overall we had an amazing stay at Ibis! Our room was really cute and just the right size for two people! It's really close to the city centre about 15 minutes walk which is not a lot as the city is wonderful to walk, easily accessible for everyone! For those who don't want to walk there is a tram and bus station right across the street from the hotel. The breakfast was really good as well as the common spaces. Really clean room and bathroom with fresh sheets and towels.

I can't really think of anything i didn't like! Just the coffee machine at the breakfast was not really good 😂

I liked the location, the cleanness, and the quality of the bed. I loved the option to opt out of everyday cleaning of the room, as it saves so many resources, and reduces the chemicals used.

I didn't like the breakfast, as I think it doesn't cover a decent breakfast for clients who follow a vegan diet or have a lactose intolerance. I think breakfast must have options of plant-based cheese and milk, and some more fresh vegetables. The cucumber, if used, should be freshly cut.

Prime location, Nice food , Staff was vey helpful and sweet. Everyday room cleaning. Nice comfortable room for a couple. Location was so so good , we could just walk to chain bridge by walk. Public transport stops was just 3 mins away. During our stay there was sudden hailstorm the hotel staff helped us with weather predictions and proactively provided umbrella for ease of travelling. Everyday breakfast was served till 10 and till 11 on weekends which was good as we are not early morning people.

Room was really cosy and warm. The toilet is clean. Breakfast is classic for hotels.

Staff at the reception had some misinformation. They told us the parking in the zone is not free for holidays, but in fact it was free. Also they told us to use euros when paying in Budapest, but I suggest using forints, beacause everything is more expensive when paying in euros. Other than that, everything else was perfect!
