Location is near to the city center and beside the hotel is the modern shopping center. If you travell with the car you can park your car in front of the hotel on a secure parking. Rooms and a hotel in general is very clean. staff is verry friendly .There is also a small pool, sauna and fitness room you can use.

Water in the pool and air could be warmer... :(

The large Novotel at the congress center offers little families a feel-well time for a good price. Be it the state-of-the-art rooms with modern furnitures and amenities like a water cattle, the vast breakfast buffet with sheer endless food opportunities even for picky eaters, the ever friendly and service-oriented staff, or finally the spa and fitness area. Situated at day & night stops of regular trams (for rides on the Buda part, e.g., to the Déli train station) and busses (jam avoiding quick connection to Rudas bath and over the Dunava river to the center and Keleti train station) the hotel is a perfect starting point for city and nature explorers.

The red colour at the outside basement could need a refresh.

The breakfast was very good and there were many choices of food and drinks.

First of all the room was very small for 2 adults and 2 children, it would have been adequate for just 2 adults. All was cramped and the tv was put in a spot where you always hit it when passing by. Second of all, the cleanliness of the room was to be desired: the toilet room had spiders, and not in a hidden place, in plane site. I do not think this is worthy of a 4 star hotel. Also, the parking is very expensive and was full, we did not have a place to park the car even if we wanted to.

A hotel with just a little extra in all matters. We were traveling 2 adults and 2 kids ( 8 & 10) The service was excellent We felt very welcome. The room was amazing (we got a big suite) with extra parent room and it was big enough for relaxing with take away with tired kids in the evening. The swimmingpool was fine and the sauna very warm and nice. The breakfast was really fantastic with special cook making omelets, special fresh frught maker and a small extra thing when leaving the breakfast. All in all you had the feeling of getting a little extra all the time. This hotel is highly recommended and we would like to stay here again next time we visit Budapest.

Everything was more than expected

One of the things I enjoyed was the quiet setting, the excellent breakfast near the outside garden, the hotel was in great shape with modern touch furniture, and the parking was plentiful. The facilities were amazing, but what I liked best and what I valued the most was the great helpful staff, and here I'd like to thank Lili from the front desk for her great help and assistance, Lili spent more than half an hour with me making several calls to the police station and other local departments trying to find my pulled car as it appears I had parked in the wrong place, anyone else would just make a couple of calls and then hang up. but she was willing to help us. Thank you Lili

Almost nothing, the hotel was within my expectations and more.

The whole experience was professional and nice, around the level you could expect from a four-star hotel. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food, including Hungarian specialties like "hurka" and standard breakfast foods like fried eggs or fruits. The staff was amiable and helpful. Connections for both tram and bus are plentiful. Can't speak about the spa, fitness, or wi-fi because we didn't try them, but they were included in the price, which is always nice.

There was a large number of guests during our stay period, so there were some inevitable problems with limited space, both with the limited number of parking spots available and with breakfast hardships, one morning in particular the wait was 15-20 mins to get a table.

Well maintained hotel (apart from ventilation/ac), nice facilities, good location.

At 09:30 breakfast was already poor and not being refreshed when breakfast is served till 10am. If an item run out, you had to chaise the staff to bring more - even tea or coffee cups, strudel was always finished by 9am. A huge queue for croissants and other baken sweet buns in the morning. The room had some problems with the ventilation and ac. It had a very strange smell, ac was working weak or not at all.

Location was great, close to our office which was the main reason for selection. Novotel provides decent accommodation, food and service. One shouldn't have high expectations in terms of luxury etc. The staff is extremely friendly, check-in / check-out was a breeze. The rooms were clean. The breakfast has good selections, healthy options.

I think the rooms especially the bathrooms need renovation. Although it was clean it gives the feeling that it is dirty. The toilet and bathroom is very tiny.

The Breakfast and the Small Pool + Wellness center are 5 stars! The beds are comfortable for sleeping. Bowling area was very good for some entertainment. Spot on!

The toilets and the bathrooms in the rooms are tiny and old. The spare sofa on the other way (unfolded for sleeping) is very uncomfortable and somewhat dangerous with all the metal bars on the sides for the small kids. I also have a couple of bruises on my legs from it.

The hotel's location was great for me, as I had business on the Buda-side of the city. The hotel staff was super friendly and professional, the room was nice, clean, spacious and very quiet. I got a free room upgrade. The breakfast was very good, everything was fresh. There was an exceptionally large selection of food available to chose from, at least 50% more things than in an average hotel.

The pillows were maybe a little too small for me, but they were OK.
