I enjoyed my long (9 night) stay. I had 2 nights in Room M03 and 7 in 315 (if memory serves me well). Both faced the back (non-road) side of the hotel and were very quiet, with pleasant views. The facilities were clean (with some qualifications for the slight mould in the showers). The room size was excellent, with plenty of space to do yoga. The desk was large enough for me to work easily there. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were helpful and accommodating to my various requests.

In the tropics shower spaces easily get mould in the siliconed joints, & these require regular re-siliconing. The shower heads sprayed onto the bathroom floor wetting the floor and bath mat easily. The breakfast average; I only dined once in the restaurant which was adequate but not noteworthy. Though there are several cafes and 'international' restaurants nearby, not many offered Indonesian cuisine. The hotel restaurant uses monosodium glutamate (MSG) unfortunately.

Western stye component of breakfast was the same every day. And very limited: cold (but tasty) omlette, wedge potatoes, low quality toast (taking) forever to heat - not to toast), jam and butter. Fruits were always the same. Asian component was more diverse but also cold. This decreases the evaluation. Excellent natural juices *=watermelon, orange, guava). OK coffee. Very poor carpet in the room. Not necessarily dirty (but not vacuum cleaned during my 5 days stay) but ruined by previous customers. Excellent WiFi and AC.

The hotel exceeded my expectations when I arrived. I wasn't expecting that it'd be that fancy and pretty. The people there were very accommodating and fine and they would greet you whenever you encounter them which was pretty nice. I love how they took care of my room very neatly and they also were kind when I accidentally spilled sunblock on the blanket. They were kind enough to respond on my note which I found really cute. Definitely my favourite hotel so far. I also love that I was able to take a pencil home as a remembrance.

I wish that the Wifi was better since it was a bit hard to find a nice spot for a Wifi connection. But otherwise, I didn't have much problems in the hotel. It was just a perfect experience to me. Definitely the best hotel for me so far.

Location is close to some restaurants and convenience store. Also a few minutes walk to public transport. Amenities were basic but sufficient. wifi and hot water were working perfectly. Lobby smells great. towels were fresh and also smell wonderful. room looks modern but in details there were a few things need to be fixed (torn wallpaper, mold in the bathroom, etc)

door handle was a bit hard to opened. no shower curtain in the shower made the water splashed everywhere and made the whole area wet. bedsheets looks old and had stain.

....I was a bit surprised, I stayed in many many hotels via booking.com. I do not need to eat in order to eat but in many hotels I get via Booking.com automatically an upgrade to the room. In addition if there is breakfast I thought (maybe this is wrong) breakfast was included in all hotels; except Hotel Des Indes in Jakarta. I wanted to eat basic Indonesian food Nasi Goreng, but then looking at the packet I had to pay to get this I did eat out at the neighbours who offered Nasi Goreng for 25% of the price of Hotel Des Indes. Thats a pithy. No swimming pool, training and sport facilities. It was only a room which was basic good. At the end overall it was excellent as the main building was maintained very well. The room had old carpet and the windows could not open!!!!! No fresh air! The air was bad, if I switched on the Air Conditioner the windows of the outside became wet like it was raining non-stop. To switch off the Airconditioner was impossible, as the room was then to hot and heavy to breath because the window could not be opened. In times of Covid and Corona we learned to open now and then windows in order to clean the air. I woke up each morning with an head age. How hight is the CO2 int the room if the windows cant be opened? Please see if this can be changed.

I had a room on the first floor with a small window into the inside yard. There are no people, but you can't keep the curtains open it feels not private. Otherwise it feels like there is no window. The room is very tight, especially bathroom. They designed it very well considering small space but I don't think Deluxe room is suitable for two people. The room is carpeted but there are already many stains, it is better to replace such flooring.

Great location for exploring Jakarta, on a busy road but inside you can’t hear a thing, they really did well on soundproofing. Room was lovely, some areas could have been cleaner tho but perhaps that’s just me coming from Europe to Asia and expecting the same. Best of all, lovely staff all around the hotel, very polite and keen to help.

Bathroom could use some more lighting as it’s really dim, some areas like shower corners, inside drawers and around wall edges could use a better cleaning, old carpet which was stained heavily but does not bother me, it just needs good washing or replacing.

A safe place with a nice restaurant.

A booked a room with a double bed for one person and was made to pay for two breakfasts. I asked the receptionist to negotiate with the manager whether the payment for one breakfast could be shifted for the next night when I was extending my stay. The answer was NO. First, I got a room that had been flooded and was very stinky. Fortunately, the receptionist managed to replace it. The room should not be given to anybody.

Central location with amazing staff. The room has everything needed and the beds were comfortable. The staff and reception is amazing. I like their restaurant lounge area also which is well ventilated and air conditioned.

Breakfast. They have a paid buffet option, but also a la carte ordering. Problem is that thy are focused on the buffet option. Oredered a la carte breakfast and it took 1 hour and 10 minutes to bring after a few confusions let's say.

Spacious building with a very pleasant dining room and bar, with an excellent location. The bedroom was small and accusing the age, although the bed and toilet were brand new. Toilet is functional but very small too. But for the price range it is a very good option! Service is very friendly and efficient.

A few details in the bedroom needed some fix. some mould on the ceiling, some old wallpaper. But these are not serious issues. Comfortable for a few nights.
