The room was large compared to other hotels nearby in the same price range. Although the hotel shows its age, it was maintained well and room has kettle, hairdryer and floor mat which was missing when we stayed at a nearby hotel costing more. Breakfast was good and has variety and really value for money. Location was in Menteng, central. there are street food stalls across the road and you can have cheap dinner and avocado juice! Hotel has only 3 floors and limited rooms. I must commend their excellent staff at the reception, bell porter and Cafe staff, who are so warm, courteous and humble.

Parking space is very limited, so i suggest you to come to the hotel with taxi or public transport.

Location was easy to find, and lobby is lovely and great smelling. There's a restaurant and cigar lounge I didn't go into, but I'm sure they're great. Room itself is more dated than the lobby. Mine overlooked the middle courtyard that is shut in from the roof. There's an elevator, so no need to lug luggage. Room placement was a little awkward. I was located next to the elevator so I did hear some noise. There's only 1 place in the room my large suitcase could open flat. There wasn't a huge amount of space around the bed, but enough to walk by. Wifi worked pretty well. Bed and pillows were comfy, no complaints. Bathroom was clean and everything worked fine except for the rain shower head which probably needs to be screwed in a little tighter as the water was spraying everywhere. The handheld showerhead had great water pressure. Shampoo/body soap provided. Hotel is a short walk/ride to the downtown area (near Sarinah), and also there's street food right across the street.

Rain showerhead sprayed everywhere - probably needs to be screwed in. Design of the bathroom wasn't great... Shower needs a door. Room was more dated than lobby. No door tag to tell the cleaners to not come in. I was only staying 2 nights - they really didn't need to clean the room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel is very nice and unique. Our room had a nice view over the CBD. We found the location perfect. Close enough to walk to the local malls (15-20mins) yet nice and quiet away from the hussle and bustle. A few nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

The hallways are very warm and without air-conditioning. The main bar is nice early in the evening but becomes extremely smokey later. However, the food and Vietnamese coffee are very nice. Bedding and towels in the rooms are very tired. Either marks or holes on all of them. They are not dirty, just worn out. Breakfast is simple but very tasty. The only other thing to mention is that the rain shower, which is nice and powerful, when switched on, has an initial foul smell, which goes away shortly afterwards.

the location was very central and there is a nice little park opposite the hotel. I had fun trying the local food just across the road. This is an old building but recently upgraded. I like the old charm feel of the room, Spacious too.

I did not have a warm welcome. I arrived very early and was taking a chance to see if the room was ready. I was happy to wait when it was ready. However, the counter staff must have forgotten about me when she left the counter and another person took over. After about one hour, I checked with the new counter staff and he immediately got me a room. Thank you!

A hotel with a really charming interior and a European feel to it. I liked the breakfast room a lot, it felt nice to sit down there and lovely music was playing too. The area where the hotel is located is good, not too far from the main attractions. Good work desk. And we also enjoyed movies on HBO channels.

The room we received was next to the elevator and as the walls are thin it was a bit too loud. But we requested to change and the problem was solved the next day. But the other room was above the smoking room, so the toilet had the smell of cigarettes, but when you close the doors - the problem disappears. :D

The convenient location, the comfortable beddings, good size room, friendly staff and good breakfast selection.

The shower stall is too small that leaves the whole bathroom floor wet after every shower. Perhaps installing a shower curtain may help prevent this. It may not be aesthetic but it is practical. My room on the 1st floor was quite noisy from the traffic and the night market across the road.

The hotel is located very central. Staff were super friendly. Rooms are spacious and VERY comfortable. The decor is beautiful and the hotel has all the modcoms. Even though the hotel is on a very busy road, traffic can't be heard in the rooms. I will be back end of September

I like the location and the room set up. Room size is quite spacious and bed is comfy.

1. The odor of the room is not great. Sweaty aroma. Even when I asked the housekeeping to spray the room refresher, the aroma is still there. 2. The safe lock ran out of battery, and the maintenance came but don't bring a fresh battery. He tried to fix it but using used batteries so the problem is not solved as I was about to leave the room.
