Really gorgeous setting with a lovely pool area - complete with an open air library and spa. Only a couple of minutes walk from Jimbaran beach and all of the seafood restaurants. This was the last stop on our trip and we ended up relaxing at the hotel quite a bit as it was so beautiful! Really friendly staff and great food as well.

The shower and toilet are cubicles within the bedroom - rather than being in a separate room. We were sharing as friends so it wasn’t the most private!

Open House has very interesting architecture, cool and comfortable accommodation, a restaurant and a menu with a variety of beautiful meals and drinks. I enjoyed having numerous swims during my stay. The staff are very caring. The cheap seafood restaurants on the beach are a 5 minute walk away and the fare is excellent. Australia beaches are cleaner than Jimbaran Beaches but people were swimming in the water. Pleasant enough to walk along the beach. 15 minute taxi to the airport and 15 minute taxi to Nusa Dua The Collection fashion shopping precinct.

There is no hair conditioner so important to bring your own. We were taken aback that the hotel was so remote and surrounded by near poverty - shanty homes and market stalls. Very sad to witness on our holiday. The restaurant is pricey because they add quite a hefty tax to the bill.

A little paradise in Jimbaran, only a few steps away from the beach. Small, cosy hotel, with very kind and professional management, you really can enjoy your holiday there. They organise everything for you if you want, and the restaurant is simply extraordinary. I would say I had the best food there in Indonesia. Although the beach is primarily used by locals and fishing boats, it is probably not the cleanest beach in Bali, but the hotel itself is spotless. The garden is beautiful with a nice pool, sunbeds, and relaxing place where you can get a massage or manicure. All the rooms have terraces with comfortable pieces of furniture and view to the pool aria. The room is equipped by everything you need and beyond. Breakfast is fabulous with many choices. But what really makes this hotel unforgettable is the people who work there and how they do everything for you. I did not want to leave this place and I am sure that I will go back again.

The hotel is located in an excellent location. 1 minute from the beach .at a point from where you can watch the sunset. A small hotel with 17 rooms. Family atmosphere. The staff is amazing. The hotel restaurant serves delicious breakfasts, and throughout the day excellent dishes. The pizza is really excellent. The room is comfortable. I stayed on the second floor in a room with a pleasant balcony. The water in the shower flows at the right intensity and the hot water comes immediately when the tap is opened. . Everything a tourist like me will need to feel comfortable when the most part of the day is spent outside the room.. Excellent value for the price while beeing on Uluwato.

Open House had friendly accessible staff who didn't mind my stupid questions. The on-site restaurant was surprisingly good, and looked out over the site pool which was very nice. They even had a hotel cat - Mehmet - who was very friendly! The location was in a quiet spot, easy to get to and from the airport, and - all things considered - easy to get to places like Kerobokan and Uluwatu without stress. Definitely recommend hiring a motorbike to get around, as Jimbaran's a long walk from anything much.

No complaints, the hotel accommodated everything I needed and were friendly and helpful.

We so enjoyed staying. It's smallish intimate, quiet, and had everything you need, pool chairs down one side of pool. very comfortable rooms bed and pillows great,.fan over bed, AC good. They refill glass water bottles X 2 everyday. I really like this. Loved the wide spacious balcony with a fan and comfy daybed. Just step outside on the street and the beach is two minutes. Initially I didn't like the location but then realised how much quieter it was than other spots visited as it's not been developed like other areas. It's still an old fishing village and it's so interesting watching the fishing boats pull up with the catch. Whilst it remained undeveloped you can use the spa facilities at the Open House or there are a couple of spas within a quick walk. You can also get a good coffee the same way. Now let me tell you about the restaurant on site. We are foodies and the standard,presentation and variety of food is just wonderful. We ate here every morning and evening. 10/10. They made a breakfast box for our early morning flight. Simple but perfect. Now the spa...I had a beautiful facial by the lovely Ana. Such a sweet girl. I was in heaven. Highly recommend. So the beach....this is not a reflection on the hotel at all but a mention of the rubbish on the beach, it's bad. They try hard to clean it up but it keeps coming so be ready for that sight. We left Amed early on this same holiday as it's bad there and don't seem to clean it up. I am hoping Indonesia as a whole will introduce a policy on the treatment of rubbish. We will definitely return to the hotel.

All was perfect

The hotel was cosy and made with "love". We liked the balcony and pool. The food was amazing. The personal very friendly. The hotel is very close to the beach, but we suggest to google on the situation of the beach first. The room was basic.

The room smellt a little like when its humid. We were unfortunate with the beach as it was during a time, when it was not clean and not possible at all to swim. The cleaning is of course not the responsibility of the hotel, but the location of the hotel close to the beach, was for us the reason why we choose it and a pitty we could not swim there.

We stayed for four nights and loved everything about our stay there! The staff were all fantastic, very helpful and friendly and their service was always just top notch! We ended up eating nearly all our meals there as the food was also exceptional. Their Beef Rendang was superb as were many other dishes and their desserts were really fantastic too!! We got them to organise our transfer pick up from the airport, our transfer to our next destination in Ubud and also a half day outing to Denpasar to visit the national museum. Everything was well organised and we had a really good stay there. The rooms are stocked with everything you need - and we got regular jugs of milk so we could make cups of tea in our room too. You can also order cafe lattes and cocktails to have by the pool - which is what you want when hanging out there to relax. It was perfect! I would highly recommend them as a place to stay in! Also some other reviews comment on the pool / it’s colour is because of the natural materials used - you only get “blue” swimming pools if you paint their lining blue! So -it’s lovely, clear and natural and it’s colours come from the type of stone materials used to make it! We just loved it there and we would definitely go back. We wished we had stayed longer actually and had less time in Ubud…❤️❤️❤️😊

It was all so fabulous!! There was nothing we didn’t like.

To begin with, the property is indeed pretty to look at - a praceful and beautifully maintained inner yard. There is a chill / library zone, massage zone and a restaurant on the location. The food is delicious! So basically, all what is needed in one spot :) the beach is also very close to the place. The place also seemed to be a lot cleaner than other similar locations that we have stayed in Bali. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. I felt like we could turn to them with any problem that we had.

I was not a big fan of the layout of the room - putting shower and toilet in the same not so spavious room, along with the bedroom, did not seem a convevient approach to me. I prefer to have separate rooms / areas.

Absolutely stunning little oasis of a hotel. A lot of greenery and huge pool around cute wooden huts for restaurant and spa. Such a small hotel we knew all staff and all guests at the end of our 3 day stay! The garden rooms are really nice as they are on the pool directly so very convenient with a baby. The white sandy beach and famous grilled fish restaurants is literally 10 steps away at the end of the road! Also you can have full dinner served in your room (at least garden rooms) as if you were in the restaurant not like a room service where everything come at once. It is a nice touch. They were also very helpful when we needed some first aid after a fall. Great find!

Can hear a bit people talking in corridor or at the pool but this is such a small hotel people are generally very discrete and so still feels quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the toilets in the room lack intimacy 😅
