The staff are amazing and warm. Relatively close to the airport, great for an overnight stay if your flight arrives late and you wish to rest before departing for your destination the next day. Room is comfortable with aircon. Free bottled water provided. There is a pool and nice outside area. Overall, great value for money.

Location is super noisy and busy. If coming from the airport, you have to drive more than 3kms past the hotel then U-turn and repeat the distance as it’s on the other side of the busy road with no ability to cross. The breakfast is from a menu rather than buffet.

Super convenient location if you’re catching an early flight. It has all the basics, and was very clean and comfortable.

The location isn't that convenient if you're coming from the airport as there's no way to turn right on the main road. The U-turn was further up and it took 1h due to the traffic. Not the hotel's fault but it is something to consider after a long International flight

This was our second stay at Grandma’s Hotel Kuta Airport, and we came back because we knew it would be good. It’s an excellent hotel, offering superb value for money. The location is perfect, right next to the airport, which is why we booked our last two nights here—to make travel easy and do some last-minute shopping. It turned out to be a great decision. The restaurant is fantastic with a wonderful ambiance. Every staff member, from the restaurant to the spa, provides exceptional 5-star service and is truly amazing at hospitality. The bed is incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay!

We had a flight that had been delayed by 5 hours and missed our connecting flight, we were going to have to stay at DPS airport for 6 hours and I wasn’t feeling well after a medical problem on the flight. So we decided to go to Grandma’s very last minute to have a nap, shower and something to eat. We weren’t expecting much for 36k, so we’re quite surprised. What a gem of a place this is! Clean, comfortable bed, the shower was exactly what we needed and the room service was excellent, awesome food. Staff were so lovely too. FYI it took about 15 mins from the airport as you need to go a fair way up the street and then turn around, but getting back to the airport was about 5 mins.

Nothing! Just a heads up, I’m in a wheelchair and the property is accessible, just the lift is quite a narrow entry. If you have a wheelchair/ scooter I’d ask how wide it is as I could only just get mine in the door.

Personally, the most welcoming and cost effective hotel. As a woman solo traveler safety is very important to me and with 24 hours security guards, safe box and 24 hours reception with the friendliest employees ever, I didn't feel any discomfort during my stays. I definitely recommend the hotel also for longer stays, the longest I stayed was 3 weeks and they just exceeded my expectations (daily cleaning, daily free water, daily change of towels, free coffee or tea...). The cleanliness of the whole complex is just impeccable and can easily compete with 5 star hotels. But the smiles you receive from every employee here and readiness to help and their service is just unbeatable. Since I am a returning customer the welcoming massage after a long flight was just heartwarming. Small things that matters -- thank you so!!!

Decent room considering the price. Has all the amenities you would need for a short stay. The bedding was really comfortable. The restaurant's food is really good! Room has a kettle and a small selection of tea and coffee. They also give you two free bottles of water, which was appreciated by weary travelers like us! The location is excellent. It's in the middle of the city and practically near everything. There's no smoking in the rooms so there's no weird smells around the hotel. The outdoor area around the pool is cute.

The room was deceptively small. It ends as soon as it starts, but I still think it's good value for money considering the prices for everything else around. The room wasn't clean when we checked in, but they cleaned it for us immediately upon bringing it to their attention. The pool also isn't big enough to be considered a pool. The pictures are deceptive there too.

Great place to stay. I walked from the airport as I only had a small suitcase. It might be better to download the grab app and take a bike or taxi. Staff were very pleasant upon check-in. When I entered the room it was larger than I expected. A nice modern bathroom. Room was clean with clean linens and a proper small mini fridge which was highly appreciated. Wifi worked well, TV has limited channels and there is a kettle, along with complimentary water, as well as coffee and tea. Windows are small but that was not an issue for me. Restaurant prices are the normal prices you would pay in a hotel. I would suggest going to the local Mie Gacoan Dewi Sri, down the road. It is a 20 minute walk or a cheap grab bike ride to get there. You can get noodles and a Thai ice tea for 20000 IDR, which is less than 2 dollars. My favourite place for ice tea and ice cream is MIXUE. The hotel has friendly staff at a reasonable price (I hope they do not change that). They kindly stored my luggage for me while I went to explore Bali for several days.

As I am in the industry now for over 30 years, my suggestions are as follows. There need to be more lounge chairs by the pool, however this is a common problem at resorts throughout, not only Bali but Asia itself. If hotel restaurants had more reasonable prices then I think more guests would eat there. As a solo traveler it would be nice to see a price point that is a little less than if booking for 2 guests.

One thing to note: while the hotel is close to the airport, the route there takes longer than expected since taxis need to go quite far up the dual carriageway before looping back.

The staff could not do enough for you & the breakfast options were good. Rooms were lovely space wise and facilities within the rooms. They were very regularly cleaned too as long as you put your door request out. Airport is super close so really good for getting to or from the airport. The Spa onsite is a must visit...I had 3 long sessions during my stay and have to thank .

The traffic noise from the main road outside..it is such a busy road. The hotel could really do with doing more to make efforts to reduce how it impacts the hotel. Road noise is bad at reception and even in the rooms you can hear it as well as some of the planes too. The dining area seems to escape the worst of the noise. It also lacks a proper lounge area so there is no way that you would really get to meet other guests away from at breakfast. The pool area is small and some of the seating area at the back on the pool could with a clean or being replaced. Taxi to Kuta beach can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on traffic and any ceremonies taking place.

We stayed at GrandMas for 1 night after arriving from Australia at about 1030pm. It wasn't too far from the airport. The staff could not be faulted. Agung and Astika were so lovely, helpful and professional. The hotel has a lovely lobby, pool area, restaurant and spa. We had breakfast included and it was very nice. The spa had well priced treatments. The staff leant us umbrellas so we could go for a short walk in the morning. The restaurant and pool area had a lovely feel. This hotel is very convenient to the airport, exceptional value for money, beautiful staff and lovely restaurant, pool/garden and spa. Great to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. It is a very busy road, but we knew that beforehand and our rooms weren't noisy. There isn't a lot around the hotel to see, but again, we knew that beforehand, and it was perfect for getting in on a late flight. The rooms aren't big, but they are clean, comfortable, modern and have everything you need.
