We stayed at Adiwana Unagi Suites for 3 nights in a pool access room and really enjoyed it. The grounds are stunning. The rooms are large, clean, well-kept, luxurious and have everything you need. The timber, carvings, bamboo and painted murals give the modern room a traditional feel. The service here is friendly, warm and welcoming. There are little extras showcasing Balinese culture which we loved…complimentary afternoon tea (on the top deck at Sky Lounge) which changed daily and includes portions of traditional Balinese cakes/snacks, there are local, exotic fruits in your room, we received a delivery each evening that included delicious biscuits along with printed information on different aspects of Balinese culture. Breakfasts/dinners/poolside snacks are all beautifully presented and delicious and Sky Lounge was our favourite spot to relax at sunset or after dinner with a cocktail. The spa makes the most of the tropical jungle with waterfall setting and the experience is bliss.

The one thing that may not suit everyone is there are lots of stairs here

Everything is really nice. The hotel is small and very nice. Clean, close to the city center and offers shuttle bus by a timetable.

The only thing that I wish I was aware is that the access to the pool is restrictive. They allow people to come and block the sun beds even if they are not at the pool. Also bear in mind that the pool has only 9 sun beds so it is quite unpleasant to come to the pool, see towels on the sun beds and nobody around to use them. When I told the management this, the only answer I got it was that this is the situation and everything is on a first come first served basis, not understanding that my complain was because NOBODY was using that sun beds for at least an hour…

We loved our stay here! A friend and I were travelling together. It was close to Ubud (taxis turn up quickly anywhere nearby and are very cheap), but being slightly outside meant it was so nice and quiet as soon as we walked into the hotel grounds past reception. A wonderful oasis that felt so relaxing, we made good use of the pool and happy hour, and the staff were very attentive. It seems there are only ~12 rooms so it’s not too busy either, nice and private. The rooms were also spacious, and the restaurant had fantastic food.

Just a personal preference but we didn’t need all the cookies, sometimes it would have been nice if they were left in the room after it was cleaned rather than knocking on the door (as we ere sometimes showering etc after being in the pool, and answering the door in robes). But such a minor detail. This property was amazing and we would both happily come back again!

from the moment we arrived at the hotel until we checked out the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and greeted us with a smile at all times. The staff were extremely helpful and respectful and ensured that we received excellent service throughout our stay, including the laundry service, breakfast early in the morning and recommendations to local restaurants. Hotel and restaurant staff provided quick service, we stayed in the forest view hotel room, and the room was spacious with a lovely bath and lovely patio area with a gorgeous view of the greenery around us. our hotel room was clean and tidy every day to an excellent standard, as an added extra the staff left information about Ubud in our room each day and cookies too, as well as refreshed the bottles of water, tea and the mini fridge. Dedy, the supervisor, as well as the other staff frequently asked about our stay and provided helpful information, including helping us rent a moped for the day, as needed and was very friendly and welcoming. the pool was well maintained, fairly big and had a lovely view as well as having sun beds to relax on and offering pool side service for food and drinks. when we were leaving the hotel staff went the extra mile to help us with our luggage and gave us a little present as a gift for our stay. the hotel also offered a free photography session in their lovely gardens. we didn’t get around to using this due to time limits. on arrival I also received a WhatsApp message from the hotel letting me know that I could use WhatsApp to ask any questions and get in contact with reception staff.

The service was phenomenal, staff were so kind and helpful and anticipated our every need. The room was stunning and was cleaned/towells changed etc. twice a day. The free breakfast is very good. Mila at reception who handled our booking was absolutely lovely as was Irfan the photographer who done a photography session at the villa for us. The hotel is so beautiful would definitely stay here again. All the staff were so kind and polite it was really a next level experience. Would definitely recommend.

There was nothing not to like!

The staff was incredibly kind and available at all times. They helped us arrange the scooter rental within seconds and every little thing we needed throughout our stay was provided instantly. Room was always tidy and they gave complimentary granola bags that were delicious :) breakfast was à la carte but we loved it! The smoothie bowls were abundant and fresh, similarly for the juices. The poool area and the hotel overall were quiet with no kids around. The room had a lovely open air bathroom with a super nice bath tub and the hair&body products were great too. The hotel is located 5’ by scooter or 15’ by foot to Ubud center which is a great distance to feel enough isolated from the crowds but close enough to quickly get there. Definitely recommend!

Everyone was so welcoming and kind! The nicest group of staff we have ever met. The property itself was better than expected and gives jungle vibes, although so close to the centre. Our room was unreal - the bed was comfortable and room had some lovely finishing touches.

If I’m being really picky, the bathtub in the room has wear and tear, and looks as if it needs a replacement. Same with the bathroom shower tiling. However, it was all very clean. Although it is close to central Ubud, it is hard to walk as very hilly and taxi or shuttle is better, especially at night.

Beautiful room and comfortable facilities. The infinity pool was great as well. Very nice staff, very good English too. They helped us book a driver for our transfer, and he was the best driver we had! The restaurant food was pretty good, but not as good as some other places.

Once the shuttle was 15 minutes late picking us up from Ubud, which was a little inconvenient. But at least the staff were responsive about it on WhatsApp.

Where do I begin 😊 First and foremost, the attention to every single guest. Following through with every point of your itinerary and needs. Great breakfast options and great dinner menu too. Often with live music at night. Room brought up to scratch every single day, cookie plate refilled topped it, really. Every guest gets a goodbye gift which makes a lasting impression. When you're looking for a driver / guide, ask for Esa - he does an amazing job!

The totally unnecessary TV in your room was turning on automatically upon entry which was disrupting the otherwise blessed zen like ambience. Officially the pool closes already at 7pm which is a bit of a downer but we haven't really tested it so who knows 😉 The space around the otherwise stunning pool allows only for a few couples to enjoy sunbeds.

This was our best stay in Bali and we stayed at numerous properties! The staff is amazing and Gede and Mila were fabulous hosts. The breakfast is fantastic from Ely’s Kitchen and the spa is also really good. You really don’t need to go out to enjoy Bali if you are staying at this resort. The proximity of the hotel to Ubud’s main attractions are super close. Just use Grab and get a cab within minutes. This is what luxury stays should feel like!
