Grand Sehati & Spa, Ubud

I had great stays here in the multiple times I was in Ubud. The room was very comfortable and I had a great quality of sleep. Swimming pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Also tried the massage in their spa and it was amazing and honestly priced. The location is very handy, right next to Monkey Forest and close to all cafes and restaurants. Staff was friendly and very helpful, always ready to assist with a smile on their faces. The towels smelled so nice!

Only points to improve would be the time for cleaning the rooms, as they always seemed to come quite late in the day when I was already back to the hotel. Also the room needed a bit of small maintenance but nothing that made it less comfortable.

The food and pool were exceptional. Really quiet considering its at the beginning of monkey forrest road. Staff were great and happy to help. Great location for beginning at top end of Hunomun street and shopping… Bring your mosquito spray for ubud 😉 not many but one is enough 😉 The bathtub and water pressure are awesome.

Unfortunately they are struggling with mould. My room was so beautiful on the ground floor alongside the pool but the mould on the ceiling and smell of mould was really bad. I’m sure they will fix it as I let them know.

Location, atmosphere - they have amazing pool and garden. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and kind. They approved our special request for disabled person. We really like staying there. Hope they will fix wifi in peak hours. Hotel has ramps for wheelchair, however not every room has no steps to get in. You may ask them to arrange such room on ground floor.

So big issue is WiFi. They have 3 Wifi points, however in peak hours (which is some hours except night and lunch) when you try to connect - it could connect only after few-many attempts, when you using one wifi spot it could just stop giving you internet pages and etc. You try to use different - it could be luck and you join new one with some brandwidth or not luck. Tried to use mobile internet - but in some locations inside it gave not so good results as could, cause of gardens walls. In bathroom it was just slowest 3g. So this place is good except you need for work stable and good internet.

Great location by the monkey forest and some amazing food options! The in-house massage was excellent. Some people may not like monkeys but some of them ended up on the balcony across from us one morning and it was a cool experience to wake up to! Nice, quiet pool with towels. Kind and responsive staff—they have great WhatsApp communication as well so it was always easy to reach out to them! Would definitely pick this place again.

The room smells a bit like cat pee unless you keep the toilet seat closed and the bathroom door closed. Other reviews mentioned that the bathroom can be outdated but it's not a problem for us.

The staff are very attentive, the location is excellent, 200m from the local Supermarket. The pool is very refreshing, possibly the coldest I have swam in in Bali.

The room had a musty smell when we arrived, possibly from the aircon, however this smell went away once we aired the room out for a while.

location, pool, staff and restaurant was all fantastic! Very big and spacious rooms made for a very comfortable stay even when we fell ill (no fault of the hotel) we were glad to be ill there!

Our only issue was in the bathroom the windows were unable to completely close meaning we had a few visitors (mosquitos) in the later ours of the day

We really liked the pool area and the staff was super friendly and helped us our day trip around Ubud! The room was spacious and clean, also we had a big balcony. The location is really good and it is close to lot of good places to eat.

The walls were pretty thin, so there were lots of noises especially during the night and sometimes the Wi-Fi didn’t work properly.

everything : location, environment, vibes, spa service, but above all the very kind staff and the local guides they provide for one-day tours. we had the chance to spend one day with Kadek and many days with the exceptional Sabda. I wish you to spend time with them. the one-day tours proposed by Sehati include best spots around Ubud. they are very affordable.

Superior room: Nice shower with rain shower, good comfortable room which has hotel high hotel standard, balcony with nice view, I even saw some monkeys, nice hightech toilet

The electric socket was inappropiate fixed in the wall and the cables looked all out, the shower was a bit dirty expecially next to the shampoo, I saw a cockroach it in the night at the toilet, the ants were really curious and very annoying

The room was very nice and clean. Bed was comfy. The spa that was their had great prices and masseuses were very good. The location was great. Just down the street was the monkey forest and all around you was restaurants to eat at. Lots of shops near by for buying stuff very close.

There was an area at the front that didn't seem to be used very much. Would be cool if it was a coffee shop.
