Swasti is beautifully landscaped with fruit trees, a lotus pond, and has working gardens that supply a lot of the food for the restaurant. It feels authentic to Bali, not a sterile resort vibe.

Patron is extra helpful, we had some issues but he helped with everything. The pool is nice, and extra activities are good (Sunday open buffet, kids cinema, kids menu). The spa is good as well.

Full of heart, everything feels like it is being done with passion and love. There is a beautiful organic garden in the back from which most of the food in the restaurant comes. One of the best things for me is the little coffee & tea tray that will sit in front of the room from a very early morning hour so one can enjoy a coffee on the balcony whilst walking up. Very nice touch! The yoga shalas are stunning. There are Buddha figurines and flowers everywhere all the time as well as light hearts in the trees at night. The location is very central yet quiet and relaxed. The spa treatments are fabulous and very good value for money. I highly recommend this place!

I would have liked daily yoga classes. There were only a couple during my 7 nights stay.

This place was so lovely that I extended my stay. There was a calmness in both the organic garden setting and among the staff - the perfect place to recharge, sleep and to eat delicious breakfasts made with artistry and love. Such a delight. I stayed in Hanuman, a deluxe room with a balcony and it had an aircon and bathroom. It was very quiet. When you awake in the morning there’s coffee outside waiting for you on the balcony - bliss. Thank you! Swasti is set in the delightful village of Nyuh Kuning, which was more how Ubud used to be when I was last here twenty years ago. It’s just south of the Monkey Forest and the villagers have planted frangipani along the streets and placed statues outside their compounds. There are restaurants outside to have a Bintang and watch the world go by, but I must say it was a wrench to leave the pool and balcony. The staff organised a brilliant bike trip with Banyan Tree Tours that takes you into Balinese villages and through rice paddies. If you need a driver Komang was really friendly and helpful. I had a great massage but didn’t get around to trying the yoga. Next time!

What can I say? It’s a place where I would like to live all year round! My late arrival was a little difficult because I had a bungalow above the reception and I asked to change. The staff was very patient and helpfull, and did their best but the hotel was full. Actually, I was wrong! My room was spacious, with a big balcony, and super quiet and peaceful. The bed super comfortable. Everything is harmonious at the Swasri eco resort: the layout of the premises, the garden, the swimming pool, the vegetable garden, the restaurant area... I enjoyed every dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner, always fresh and with o lot of vegan options. I also loved the two open spaces for practicing meditation and yoga and the fact that a course schedule (additional charge) is also available, with excellent teachers. It was very pleasant in the morning or early evening to practice without having to leave the resort. Finally, the spa masseuses took care of my back which really needed it!

We had an amazing stay at Swasti! We stayed for 9 days and loved the beautiful garden, pool and the food in the restaurant. The staff was really friendly and the cottage and bathroom were a great experience. Also we really enjoyed the surrounding of Nyun kuning area, perfect with kids! This was one of the best places we stayed at in Bali.

Internet didn’t work most of the time at our cottage. The spa experiences we booked were soso. The spa can use some extra charm. Lots of flies in the restaurant. But overall we loved our stay Swasti!

We knew the moment we rented the property it was going to be our favorite place during our Bali trip. Such a nice cottages, each individually surrounded by beautiful gardens. This place had everything you would want yet you still felt back to nature. When I pictured a Bali stay this is it. The road it is located on is not very busy, and the hotel is set back a long way long.. It’s a couple of blocks to the monkey forest and about a half mile to all the shops. There are also some nice right outside the hotel. the fact that it is super eco-friendly just about us. Complementary breakfast was excellent. Love this place.

I have been to the place before years ago and I decided to go back for my first solo trip to Bali. As soon as you walk in, you realise that the owner really loves the place. My room was perfect, every detail of it. It was calming and relaxing. There is a magic aura all around the place.. yoga classes, meditation, events, special offers.. the spa and the food. Everything is lovely. You could literally never leave the place :). I felt like home. Thank you so much

The staff are exceptional, amazing; not just nice but deeply kind human beings; understanding and they go out of their way to help you. Also the breakfasts are phenomenal, delicious and healthy; they are a bit small, but you can always order more. Very high quality ingredients, I love it !

some of the things in the room didn’t work quite perfectly and would be better with some simple easy repairs. like a broken window latch, mosquito netting with holes. but these are pretty small things. The massage I got was just ok, not special, but it was also very very inexpensive. I would pay much more for a good massage
