-they charge extra for the bread at breakfast (how did you suppose to eat your omelette)? -first they confirmed i can pay by card but finally it was not possible and had to pay by cash -on our first day the shower head broke and they wanted to charge me 400.000 IDR….i felt bad the whole day and of course expressed my disagreement since it didn’t break because of incorrect use…then I received an email asking for leaving positive reviews….very weird everything..i told them how do i supposed to leave a positive review after all this? Finally they didn’t charge me but due to this incident I cannot leave maximum scores I’m sorry

This little hotel is right at the end of the street and has no neighbors so you get unobstrusted views to rice fields and Monkey forest. It is very quite, with almost no noise from the street. The only thing is one time there was a ceremony at the temple inside monkey forest, but those end at 11 pm. And of course there will be frogs and crickets from the paddy. Not any amenities to talk to, but the rooms are nice and spacious, the bathroom was clean, the pool was alright and there is a large table downstairs at the restaurant where you can comfortably do some work. Staff is nice and friendly. And the location is PERFECT. Right next to the amazing resorts on Bisma where you can enjoy great infinity pools and bars, while at the same time not as busy as the other streets, but also 2 minutes walking from them, so you get super easy access to all the nice restaurants in all of central Ubud. didn't even nees to rent a motorbike. **Note that my score is according to the price range of course.

beautiful location right next to the rice fields and Monkey forest. The hotel is a short walking distance from Ubud centre and there are plenty of great restaurants close by Both staff members Mang and Arah were very at attentive and offered great customer service. The rooms were clean and I would 100% recommend staying in this beautiful nature spot.

The location is unbeatable—just a stone's throw from all the shops, restaurants, and cultural sites. Despite being close to everything, the property itself is peaceful and quiet, with an amazing rice field view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and I loved the pool area. The staff are also friendly and attentive.

At times, the water pressure would drop or even disappear, but it would come back after a few minutes. The air conditioning could be a bit noisy, too. Overall, these issues didn’t detract much from the experience. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Ubud!

Great stay with Carik Bisma family. Everyone was kind, smiling and always helpful. Every evening we were asked with enthusiasm and interest what we did that day. The rooms are basic, comfortable, and best of all, cooly air conditioned. Water pressure was good and water hottest in the mornings. Basic breakfast of juice, coffee, fruit plate and egg options with toast are included and a great way to kick off the day. The location is ideal because it's at the south end of Bisma, which means you can walk to the Monkey Forest in 10 minutes, or north on Bisma to the palace in 20 minutes. We walked everywhere around central Ubud because the location is ideal. You will be certain to see monkeys every morning due to the proximity to the Monkey Forest. The pool is well kept but we never took a dip during our 4 week stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and recommend for the value, location and friendly staff.

Beautiful villa-style accommodation right on the edge of Ubud's famous Monkey Forest. All of our rooms had nice and clean balconies overlooking the pool and the Monkey Forest. Rooms had good A/C, cold fridge, and plenty of coffee and tea in the rooms as well. Hot water for showers was always available as well. We could walk to Monkey Forest and all the amazingly cheap yet wonderful restaurants and cafes around the city center. The accommodation is on a side road, so it's nice and quiet, but you can take a RIGHT when you walk out of the front and walk to the main road within about 5 minutes. Breakfast was made to order, and it was in a nice cafe near the pool. They helped us get motorbikes from a nearby company for very good prices, and also offered transportation by car/van for good prices. This was a family trip, and we all loved this place! The family and staff who run it are very accommodating and made our stay here a total delight. PRO TIP: If you walk straight out the front down the road this villa is on, there's an amazing restaurant that you might overlook called 'Lucky Family Restaurant.' They make really good food (Western and Asian) for shockingly cheap prices, and they also make coffee drinks (like cappicino, mocha, etc) right there, which are very, very good! We ate dinner or lunch several times there, as half my family is vegetarian and they had many great options. A neighbor raises ducks, so you can see about 30 ducks running around the rice patties throughout the day, which is just so pretty. And while the street this place is on is a side-street, it has many nice cafes and massage spas along the whole way. If you want to be in a quieter place with a nice pool, while also being very central, this is a perfect spot to stay.

I loved this place, but if I had to offer any feedback at all, here are a few things: 1. The entire pool was 'deep.' It would have been great if it had a shallow end for our little daughter. 2. Rooms have regular keys, but I always prefer keycards so that both the wife and I can have our own keys. 3. The 'do not disturb' signs you put on the doors are flimsey and often fall off. It would be great if they were a little more sturdy. Very small suggestions, as we loved this place!

Amazing stay, amazing place, very nice and friendly staff. The monkeys in the backyard make a great and sometimes exciting experience, but the owner does its best to keep the monkeys on a good distance. Room was great and clean, simple but nothing more needed! Scooter rent very easy at the hotel. Will go there again when in Ubud!

:) Monkeys can be a bit close so do not leave loose items lying on your balcony or outside the room :)

Perfect little bed and breakfast with nice garden view where you can see the monkeys of the monkey forest from a safe distance. Very nice spacious room with comfortable beds. very cute little swimming pool overlooking the garden. Location is at the end of Bisma street 10 mins walk to Monkey Forest. Very calming scenery.

Location is close to Monkey forest street where all the restos and bars are, but I would prefer an even closer location to the hustle and bustle specially having kids that do not appreciate walks.

The sounds of the nature in the night, the running water on the rice field, the frogs, birds, one or other monkey around. The experience was very pleasant. The room was really nice, big, and simple, which is good if you're looking for relaxing. The breakfast is also very good (green pancakes!) They helped us arrange the rental of a motorbike for a reasonable price (80k) and it was in very eat conditions.

The condition of the bathroom could be a bit improved, especially about the toilet of the room on the ground floor. When someone flushes the toilet on the upper rooms, there's a bit of "flow" going on in the toilet of the rooms underneath. No explosions or something like that, but a bit of bad smell comes out of the bathroom. If this is somehow fixed, the place gets a 11/10, just for my previous positive comments.

We have stayed in this hotel for alkomat 3 weeks (some kind of workation). We liked this place so much! We changed our room after few days, but both were good: big enough, clean, bathroom was also clean, balcony with view over Monkey Forest and very comfortable bed. We didn’t use swimming pool very often but it was also clean and good for relax. Breakfast was simple but very good: balinese cofee, pancakes, fresh juices and eggs in variety. We are so grateful also for very nice staff- all were so nice and helpful. They organized food during Nyepi. What is amazing, you dont have to go to Monkey Forest- monkeys come to you very often! But they are not dangerous. Localization also is very good-close to restaurants, laundry, to the centre of Ubud is about 20 minutes by walk.
