unfortunately, the reservations manager, explained to me, they allocated all rooms booked through the hotel first, and then use the remaining for booking.com customers, I was given a room furthest away from reception.

Liked everything very much, however, the reason for my “9” instead of “10” points, although the food was superb und delicious but the menu remained the same during our stay and for a 5* Hotel I would expect a little more variety.

first time in castle, and it was the best hotel experience. the nature, the staff and the food everything was perfect.

The hotel and grounds are very nice. Rooms large and very spacious bathrooms. The pool and separate adult only spa area are very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary use of bikes is a nice touch and also the jelly sweets for the children brought to the rooms was lovely.

The downstairs bar was unattended and was bit of hassle going upstairs and down with drinks to sit in this bar and drinks are expensive. We had bar food both nights. The first night was lovely but the 2nd night we had a long wait and my steak sandwich was very disappointing for the €26 it cost. The steak was hard to find, was more like a rasher. The pool/spa is not connected to the main hotel but umbrellas are provided if raining.

If you want to have a nice rest at a place with the best service, this is a place! Great breakfast, amazing staff, clean and quite, live music in the bar, very nice spa area with good professionals, good restaurant, enough parking space for everyone, area to have a nice walk, and more! We had great experience!

Nothing is perfect unfortunately, in the room, even it was quite and we didn't hear neighbors voices or TV, but when in the room above somebody was moving their floor and our ceiling were heavily squeaking which was a bit annoying, especially in the evenings.

I stayed 3 days at Lough Eske , and everything was fantastic. Breakfast had a good selection for ``a la carte`` or buffet. The food was great. Supper at the castle was also very very good and for the quality of the plates the prices were fare. All the services were top notch and everywhere you go here you are taken cared o f with white gloves. The spa was fantastic as well as their facilities (Pool , saunas towels and changing rooms ) ,, The staff are super friendly and really welcome you with great Irish hospitality.

it was a beautiful property ideal to celebrate any special occasion. the castle grounds were perfectly manicured and the setting was gorgeous. The food was absolutely fantastic and be it the front desk or the gentleman at the concierge were lovely to deal with.

it's a stunning beautiful old but well maintained, and huge castle with lots of 4 walking/trekking routes; u can also go around with the bikes provided by the hotel; the staffs are nice and everywhere is just beautiful, lots of different rooms around the hotel lobbies and restaurants.

the hotel is quite expensive, which is expected but the foods could improve more. we ordered an afternoon snacks at the restaurant and it was a little disappointing.

Id recommend the junior suite or any suite for that matter. They are luxuriously spacious with amazing bathrooms that include rainfall showers and soaking tubs. The views, sculptures, and architecture add to the magic. Walking trails are pretty though largely in the roads. Highly recommend the afternoon tea, a highlight of our stay.

There wasn't much entertainment on site. Also, the Spa manicure was supposedly booked for 4 straight days so book ahead of don't inform them it's for a child. The food at their signature restaurant Cedars was good but service could have been better, ex napkins left on chair were not returned to the table folded, some orders were forgotten or missing items.
