Strongly recommend this top class hotel , I've stayed in Letterkenny a good few times but this was my first time stay at Dillons and it is the best in Letterkenny by a country mile ! Just back from a 3 day stay with a group of friends and we could not fault Dillons Hotel , best customer service I've received in a hotel . Staff went above and beyond from arrival to checkout . Orla looked after us all at check in and Martin at checkout . Suzzanne looked after us all during our stay and could not be more helpful . Perfect location in the centre of town , Beautiful modern spacious rooms and very comfortable beds . A 3 star hotel with 5 star quality. All the staff at Breakfast were just delightful and the food was outstanding . Thank you so much Dillons Hotel , I look forward to returning soon 😊

Beautiful hotel, staff was amazing particularly Stephen from the restaurant what an amazing young fella! He is a true diamond and the business should be very very proud to have him part of the team. Restaurant food was outstanding, probably the best meal I’ve had in a long long time. (Catered very well for vegetarians)

My only complaint is the walls must be paper thin as I heard the man in the room next door snore so loud the entire night which was abit disappointing as I was looking forward to a peaceful night away.

Bottom of iron in room was all burnt which came off onto my trousers which were ruined. Asked housekeeping to replace iron which they did with an iron thats cable had been tape over with insulation tape. This I didn't think was very safe and didn't use. I informed the lovely girl on reception who apologised and gave us a pass for the carpark which was nice but in no way covered the replacement of my trousers.

It is on the best location. Everything in the Letterkenny is walking distance apart. Park house is around the corner. It is as described in the Booking.com. Breakfast warm - traditionally British (egg, ham, sausage, beans, …) and it is not self-served. The cold dishes (beverages, cheese, salami, fruits) are self-served. I miss normal continental bread but this is not just in this hotel it is all around Ireland.

I would remind travellers that the water has heavily chlorine smell. Even if you let it run for longer the smell is still present. The bottle of water can be bought for 2€ (per litre) down the street and at the wending machine in the hotel the small bottle (1/2 litre) is also 2€ which is quite pricy. I would suggest the hotel staff to take care of the beds and walls. It is not enjoyable to hear (and feel) banging from other room right on your head. Luckily loving couple in other room did not have stamina to have intercourse for hours.

We have stayed at the hotel before without issue. This visit was 2 days after Christmas unfortunately we were woke during the night with fire alarms being set off by some male residents who proceeded to run up and down the corridor banging doors very unruly behaviour security was alerted and it was sorted promptly.Receptionist was aware of situation as we checked out she was lovely very apologetic

I loved my room! It was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I loved that there was a desk and a sofa. I used the iron and ironing board. And I loved that there was a herbal tea bag in the tea/coffee tray. The temperature of the room was perfect and the shower was hot and powerful. The hotel location was wonderful with ready access to shops and restaurants.

A second bag of peppermint tea or lemon and ginger would have been fabulous ( I can't drink caffeine so black tea, green tea and coffee are out for me)

Room was a brilliant size with all you needed for your stay. Bed was comfortable and cleanliness in both the room and the bathroom was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night and the food was beautiful. Also had one of the nicest strawberry daiquiris I've had in a long time. Perfect location central to everything.

We were charged €5.00 for overnight parking which i felt was a bit mean after having 2 couples stay and eat in their premises, i just felt after all the money they received the least they could do was give free parking. I never had to pay for parking before at any hotel i have stayed in

Breakfast was first class. Everything about the hotel was great from check in to check out. Location was very good so near shops etc and short drive out to the big stores

The only fault I found and it wasn't to do with the hotel but I didn't like parking my car in the multi storey during our stay. I feel more content with car parked on the hotel grounds but that's only a minor detail

we had paid for 5 guests to stay, 3 in one room, 2 in another. one girl didn’t make it so we obv weren’t going to leave one girl in a room in her own so we done two and two. it shouldn’t have mattered we paid for 5. at breakfast a staff member said there should only be one for breakfast for that room. 2 checked in for that room 2 key cards were given 2 stayed in it and it was paid for 2. a lot of mix up for no reason there was 4 of us there paid for 5 ppl.
