Great room, staff, atmosphere and vibe. Lovely breakfast, restaurant as well.

Despite putting our cardboard sign outside the door to indicate that we’d like a change of towels and sheets, our bed sheets weren’t changed. We know this as they had dark dot stains on them when we discovered them when we went to bed the first night. They were still there on the second evening. Towels were changed ok though. Also the bathroom light didn’t work that well. If I owned an hotel Id employ someone to check all the rooms to make sure all facilities were in working order. Overall I loved the hotel but these things irked us.

Staff were helpful, location fantastic for exploring surrounding sights, comfortable bed, good breakfast.

We were on the ground floor which was ideal for us. There did not seem to be sufficient insulation between ourselves and the floor above us. We could hear any movements the neighbour above us made through the ceiling. Thankfully the noise stopped at bedtime. If it had continued through the night I would have asked to be moved. Also, there was a hair in our bathtub/shower on arrival which was not a major deal but I would not expect it at this price point. Also the windows to our bedroom looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time...again, at this price point, I would expect clean windows.

Such a lovely place to stay. Hotel is so nice; bedroom+bathroom clean and comfy; staff very friendly and professional. Bar food excellent !

It’s such a shame but a potentially great breakfast was completely spoilt for us. We were alone in the breakfast room & a nice waiter seated us & took our ‘mains’ order promptly. However, we had literally sat down with our cereals when the ‘main-plates’ arrived…..ie no more than 2-3 minutes had elapsed !!!!! I mentioned—except for the egg—it was impossible to cook sausages/pudding/hash browns etc etc that quickly but…and more importantly…I said all would be going cold by the time we’d finished juice & cereal !! It was suggested that it could be sent back for re-heating !!!!! Ugh ! Shameful ! (And btw, yes, it was cold !)

I booked this property because I was trying to avoid driving and parking in a large city. I honestly didn't expect it to be very nice as it was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our visit to Ireland. I loved that the hotel was out in the countryside and there was plenty of parking. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. We arrived just before dinner and the desk agent offered to book a table in the restaurant for us. She assured me that we would love it and we did. Our waiter was charming and our dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant was very busy and it looked like it was a popular choice with the locals. Our room was large and it was very clean, modern and quiet. The bathroom was great with lots of counter space and good lighting. Breakfast was very nice with many options to pick from including several items that were prepared to order. Overall, the hotel was a great choice and a great value.

I can't think of anything to complain about!

I loved the hotel the minute I entered. There was a very warm and friendly welcome extended from all staff. It felt like coming home. The hotel is beautiful and so very functional. The whole lay-out is perfect. The rooms are oriented to the back and therefore very quiet although the hotel is located on a very busy road. The restaurant was gorgeous. Try the chicken fry! And don't miss out to visit the ring fort up the hill!

There was nothing I did not like.

Big tasty breakfast. Beautiful location, plenty of places to go for a walk or watch wild countryside life, especially water birds ' colonies. Hotel was decorated for Christmas and looked lovely. Beautiful fire place. Hotel is very clean. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Very helpful and professional staff. It feels like everything is very well organised and works like switch clock in this hotel.

It is really a small thing, could happen anywhere anytime. I am just letting you know that it could be fixed. The sink in the bathroom drained very slowly at the time of my stay.

Excellent location n convenient for appointments in Derry. So welcoming, and accommodating to every need. They were knowledgeable about local routes in icy n snowy weather n couldn't do enough to get me defrosted andaway on time. I also appreciated their call checking on my need to get food before their kitchen was closing. Brilliant menu for both evening food and hot n cold breakfasts. Such character to the building

There was no not liking

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The staff are fabulous and very accommodating. We tend to take over a corner of their foyer for Lego building or other toys (we have two young boys) and are usually up very early. This never seems to phase the staff, who are always quick to accommodate. On our most recent stay the staff had a lovely Halloween treat box for each child.such a great surprise!

Lovely friendly hotel, very comfortable and ideal location to explore different areas of Donegal. The breakfasts kept us going all day and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bedrooms were very quiet despite the proximity of the hotel to the main road and the beds were comfortable. Great value for money in a lovely setting. Would certainly return again

The coffee at breakfast was very strong.

Very welcoming Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere , relaxed large reception area . Food was excellent , beautiful restaurant where Breakfast was served. Plenty of car parking spaces. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Unfortunately the bathroom wasn't suitable for elderly guest with modality issues they were unable to step up into the bath tub to shower, not sure if this is the case in all rooms or if the have rooms available with wet rooms available, maybe I should of asked but as we were only staying the one night we didn't discuss this with the staff, I would definitely stay in the hotel again though. As was great family for money when we were visiting Family 👪 ❤
