Breakfast very good , staff lovely ,room was big bathroom was modern , large tv Very quiet at night

View out of window was top of the roof covered in stones we knew we weren’t getting the river Shannon view but it did say on line view of the city it was bad really we had a view of the roof with a big blue monstrosity to look at !! One day no milk or cups washed no expresso pods left which was very disappointing the day before we asked for more milk in the room they gave us one extra !! Next day we had one milk !! In other words it wasn’t replenished Lovely terrance to have a drink but quickly vacated it as smoking was allowed and you couldn’t get away from the smoke shame as it was warm evenings to enjoy the river

This was ABSOLUTE-ly the best hotel we stayed in in Ireland! We were upgraded into an ENORMOUS room, sparklingly clean, with a huge bed and, I'm not kidding, the best pillows I have ever had in my life. The bathroom was huge, the rainfall shower was perfect. The staff were lovely, especially gracious on our early arrival. The hotel parking is in an adjacent walk-through-from-the-lobby garage that was well organized with easy access and plenty of room for parking, Breakfast was a delicious, with a very good selection of hot and cold foods; the breakfast room was spacious, bright and quiet. The hotel is located literally ON the King's Island and is mere steps from the Castle, the Cathedral and the Treaty Bar.

ABSOLUTE-ly not one foot out of place in this hotel! You cannot go wrong with this option for LImerick. Even though we managed to cover Limerick in our brief stay, we regretted not having a reason to stay another night!

Breakfast was amazing. Room was out of this world, spacious clean and modern. Restaurant was also very good and staff were friendly

Tv in this era should probably have Netflix prime etc so you can log into your own account etc at night to unwind with your family. Car par was too small. Unmanageable pretty much with a larger car. When the car park was full we were sent to the multi-storey close by dark at night with a young child…. We required a pass code to get in and the look and feel of the car park was eerie. Stairs cordoned off with red tape etc…. Ridiculously tight spaces and turning location on the way in. The look of the car park at night actually scared our child. This whole thing really soured our experience a little as we also damaged our car on entry to the car park. It adds a little more cost to our week and really just takes away from what was almost the perfect few days

My granddaughter and I loved staying at the Absolute. Our room was great and we especially loved the staff including Chelsey, Alex, David, Luke and Alona and others whose names I don't remember. They all helped us with getting around town, finding Arthur's Quay for our tour buses, recommending Patrick Cunningham to drive us to the airport. By the way he was terrific also. The dining room staff were also fabulous including Caitlin, Cain and a delightful lady with dark hair whose name I forget but who made me delicious coffee exactly the way I requested it.

Not a thing.

Lovely clean hotel on the banks of the river close to the centre of limerick city. Lovely veiw from our room, spacious, nice ensuite. Water in room was very welcome. Aircon was nice even in an Irish summer,. Breakfast was smashing and the staff very good. Well done to all.

Outside dining area needs a little updating, it's a lovely area but furniture is well used and the area smells bad of cigarettes. A fridge in room would be a very welcome addition. I know ireland has become very expensive to holiday in, everyone is feeling it, but 221 euro for a Thursday?? Soon enough the hospitality industry will price itself out.

The location of the Hotel is just a 5 minute walk to where there are some restaurants and bars, and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Limerick. The rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. Ours had a balcony, which was a bonus. There's an outside terrace Bar that looks over the river where snacks and drinks can be had. The staff are delightful, well trained, efficient and very helpful.

Directions to the Hotel could have been clearer, and the gated ground floor carpark is too small for the size of the Hotel, so you have to get there early to guarantee a space. The Lift (or elevator if you are from USA) does not stop on the first floor, it's not designed to. So to get to the Bar/ Restaurant you have to go down to the ground floor from whatever level your room is on and then walk up a flight of stairs

Everything!! We were a group of three friends celebrating a birthday. The room was beautiful, arranged with two single beds and a sofa bed as requested. There was lots of space in the room for three adults. Lovely touches by the hotel as we had alerted them that one of our party we’re celebrating a birthday, in the room was a birthday card and jar of sweets. The staff were excellent, extremely personal and helpful. The took time to chat with us and made us feel very welcome.

The only thing was that the breakfast room was stiflingly warm. we appreciate that the weather was extremely warm at this time but the temperature in this part of the hotel was a marked difference to the airiness of the rest of the hotel which was air conditioned. The breakfast was delicious but we could not wait long due to the heat of the room. The dining room staff were excellent!!

We were presently surprised by the size of our room, it was so spacious and clean, with a great shower and bathroom, the beds were brilliantly comfortable and we had a great view of the river and the town of Limerick, the breakfast was excellent, and had a great choice to start the day.

The only criticism we had was, the evening menu was the same each day, but as we were mostly out visiting it wasn't a problem for us, but i have to say that when we did eat in the food was very good, well cooked, great portion size and tasted great.

This is a belter of a place to stay if you're heading to Limerick! The size of the room was way more than we expected, and the bed was genuinely the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. It was spotlessly clean, the parking was a bonus and all the staff were great (especially Kylie who was an absolute gem!) We stayed there was we were covering a wedding at another hotel in Limerick, but I'm glad we stayed at the Absolute. A 5 minute walk to anywhere, and it sits alone away from the noise. Perfect 👍

Nothing at all. There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Breakfast was lovely, hot food cooked to order and loads of pastries', cold foods and fruit on offer, rooms were excellent size, we had 3 adults in a triple room and could have fit another two easily! Modern rooms and location was very good, 4min taxi to city centre which you could (we were in heels so decided against!)

Was slightly disappointed with one aspect, had requested ice, champagne glasses and a balloon which I ordered to be placed in the room on arrival as we were surprising a friend which were not there. They had the balloon in still in the box but it ruined the element of surprise. When we rang reception they dropped up the items.
