We needed a location close to Shannon Airport to pick up family who were arriving on an early morning flight. I am so glad I found Balally House B&B. The B&B is a mere 10 minute drive from Shannon airport. Our room was comfortable and so very nicely and attractively decorated. The lounge across the hallway provided a "extra" room to relax, watch TV and enjoy the snacks provided by the charming owner. The pub across the road was very convenient for an evening meal. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was delicious. Parking in front of the building meant no worries about where to leave the car. All in all, a wonderful B&B and so easy to get to and from Shannon airport.

The location of this beautiful home was perfect for us: only a 10-minute drive from the airport, but in a quiet area. We first enjoyed tea and snacks upon arrival. Later, we walked across the road for a delicious dinner and then strolled around neighborhood streets and a park. We had a very early flight out the next morning, and our host was kind enough to prepare a to-go breakfast of yogurt, fruit, and croissants that we could eat in our room or take with us to the airport.

We had NO negative issues in this house. Our room and bathroom were a bit smaller here compared to some other places we stayed in Ireland, but it was quite comfortable and offered everything we needed.

The location was great in the quiet little town of Shannon and perfect for us because we drove in from Rosslaire harbor and did not want to be driving too late. It gave us a good starting point to go see the Cliffs of Moher the next morning. There also was a very nice restaurant right across the street with great food and good prices that we had researched and found and were delighted that it was across the street and within walking distance. Our hostess was very gracious about a delay in arrival due to our ferry being delayed, and check in was very thorough but very easy. The house was absolutely beautiful and room above our expectations. The breakfast was cooked to order and complete with everything we needed, and included fresh basil which I love. The facility was very quiet and bed very comfy. This will defiantly be my destination if I come back to Shannon again!

No one thing! This place was such a delight!

Charming house, spotlessly clean. Hosts were lovely. A cooked breakfast is provided- however we needed to leave very early in the morning so our host made sure to leave a lovely many optioned continental breakfast for us in the lounge.

The bed could have been more comfortable- the linens were excellent and room decor was lovely. The towel rack in the bathroom came unattached , very minor issue, we didn’t have time to mention it before we left.

Dawn was very hospitable from the moment we arrived , she showed us around and was very thorough . There’s a cat sunny that lives on the property that was an extra bonus for me as I’m a cat person and was missing my own , he was very friendly and cute . The breakfast was a special touch and delicious and Dawn made sure we had a taxi at 5:30 for departure. This was my 1st time ever staying in a bed and breakfast and Dawn made the stay 5 stars!

The owner's husband met us at the door and carried our bags upstairs, guided our 12 seater tour van into the spacious driveway as well as our car. There was a wonderful and homey pub/restaurant only a 50 meter walk from Balally House which, after a 5 hour drive, was an oasis. The breakfast cooked and served by the owner herself was perfect. Finally, rooms immaculate, quiet surroundings, friendly and helpful couple and so close to Shannon Airport.

Very comfortable relaxing stay Dawn is a great host, as there are no downstairs bedrooms, Dawn carried our suitcases up to our bedroom. The room was at the front of the house, nice size overlooking the garden Breakfast was great, loved the berry compote, great selection for a cooked breakfast. It’s close to Shannon Airport & Bunratty

I was only staying in Shannon for a flying stop, arriving in the morning and leaving early the next day (5am). The pre-stay communication was excellent and they were super helpful with the request made. We arrived earlier than our room time, but was able to grab the key to the room to return later. And they let us know when it was ready via booking.com mesaages. The B&B is in a great location and it has a lovely pub across the road. The staff were really helpful and made the stay great. The room was very comfortable, with great amenities. As we were leaving early they left us a selection of fruit, cereal and croissants to go with the tea and coffee, which was greatly appreciated. I would stay again.

This is a well-appointed, very comfortable, B & B with a wonderful breakfast! We were rather late in arriving and were warmly welcomed by Dawn to this lovely property. Conveniently located with a Pub/restaurant across the road, additional offerings in towns nearby and VERY close to Shannon airport - which is why we initially chose it, and after one night, were wishing we had another day to spend here. Highly recommended it to family travelling a few days behind us but the property was booked for their dates, so don't hesitate in deciding. Dawn is a gracious host, very friendly and extremely helpful!

We found nothing to dislike!

Breakfast was wonderful, beautifully presented (you eat with your eyes first) - everything was well cooked and portions more than sufficient. Balally House was perfectly situated for the touring visit that we were on and so easy to find.

Sorry but this is where I cannot oblige as there was nothing that I did not like. Very helpful and friendly host we all felt very comfortable and at ease during our stay.
