Location.

Breakfast was expensive. Was Charged 14 euro for my two year old.

The room was lovely and spacious. The water was nice and hot. The bed was very comfortable and clean.

The heating didn’t work and we had to get the waiter who bought our food up to check it. I was also told that the prices had been bumped up but I have no way of proving that. The bath also had hair in and around it. And the receptionist tried to charge me a second time for our breakfast. When I challenged him, another receptionist came to check and said that it was a mistake but it took a few minutes while our taxi driver was waiting to take us to the airport.

It was a last minute booking and due to August Bank Holiday weekend we were lucky to find the 2 rooms needed for an emergency accommodation . The staff was kind and professional all along and very helpful as well. The beds were very comfortable but that didn't surprise us , we book the Clayton very often in our travels through Dublin airport and we know we will have a great sleep.

Given the last minute circumstances we couldn't ask no more but we were given 2 rooms in the old side of the hotel so even if they were refurbished , you could tell by some details they were old. Example : the toilet door didn't close properly as probably expanded and you had to push hard to close it . The plugs were in weird locations , like the headboard of bed behind the pillows with the usb plugs behind your head while you sleep is not ideal in terms of health but for one night was alright. There was a curtain that did not close properly and there was a bright spotlight in the docks by the river hitting our window so was a challenge to block that light coming through the window and sleep .

From the moment we checked in, everything went so smoothly. The concierge was very welcoming and efficient. The room was lovely with plenty towels and space even for two adults and two children. We spent an hour at the pool and walked into town for our evening meal. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of items to choose from. Especially impressed with the gluten free section.

Not a complaint but maybe more water in the room for four persons. There was just two cartons. Also maybe a choice of pancakes or waffles for kids. Overall, a fantastic night away from start to finish.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checkin was quick, friendly and efficient. We went for food shortly after checkin and the food was exceptional. It was plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable with a really good selection of channels. Surprised to see a couple of containers of water, which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had lots of variety and options, all cooked to perfection.

One of the LED lights in the bathroom started flickering which was a little distracting but not a big issue. We only reported this upon checking out so nothing negative to say on this as these things happen.

Checked in online, very handy. Booked twin but got double, they changed the bed configuration with no hassle. Lovely clean room with fab view of the river. The pool was small but perfect. There was also a sauna, steamroom, gym & jacuzzi. Changing rooms quite small. The breakfast was lovely, full Irish for me and pancakes for dd. They have a coffee machine :) Check out again online, all very quick with no problems. Parking right across the road in the multi story for 8.50. Loads of spaces. Location very handy to drive to, and only a 10 minute walk up the town.

Couldn't fault anything!

We loved the location. The staff were so friendly, especially the guys in the breakfast room and at the swimming pool. They were absolutely brilliant with our over enthusiastic 3yr old😁

My only complaint would be that the swimming pool was a little small.There were people there that were obviously club members and doing laps of the pool and our 3yr old was jumping into the pool, so I was conscious at all times in case she was getting in there way but that's it. Everything else was perfect 😊

Clean, comfortable,friendly and efficient staff. Great location with amazing view of the river. Nice amenities, although didn't try any of the food services except for coffee at bar, which was very good. Nice to have gym, but didn't use this either.

Shower leaks water onto floor. Water leaks through windows on interior window sill. Instant coffee instead of capsule coffee like Nespresso or similiiar

The rooms have an awesome view over the river and old part of the city. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, gym and sauna. The people were extremely friendly. There is a car parking at 150 meter, very convenient.

Hygiene could be better. In our room we had a couple of spider webs against the roof. There was a lot of hair on the floor of the dressing rooms near the swimming pool. Because of the temperature difference between inside and outside, the condensation caused a bit of fungus at the window frame.

This was a perfect choice for a first few days in Ireland. The overall experience was comfortable and convenient which is important when dealing with jet lag and unfamiliarity with your surroundings. The breakfast was absolutely worth the price and I highly recommended pre-paying for it when you book this hotel! It's centrally located in Limerick right on the Shannon river, and just about a 1/2 a block from Dolan's pub which has great music on the weekends.

Dinner is very crowded and it takes a long time to get your food. There are a lot of tour groups which stay here, so it's just very full in the evening. But there are some great restaurants nearby, like the French Table. Just make reservations if you can at any restaurant that's not a pub.
