Breakfast had lots of verity including of healthy food that was tasty and fresh, swimming pool enabled both laps and fun and had comfortable temperature and a jacuzzi, clean, comfortable bed, quiet.

A bit rigid in not allowing to charge breakfast on the room after paying for room which meant there was no credit card pre-authorisation; lift required inserting key which often didn't work and meant going up and down to floors that did not require key before reaching destination; one salad dressing bottle at breakfast never worked in 6 days; raw vegetables at breakfast were not always fresh.

The staff were excellent, extremely professional, Pleasant and Helpful The hotel night and day manager went above and beyond All the reception staff were excellent and helpful The hotel restaurant for evening food was the best meal both myslelf and my husband have had (I'd say ever) the chef did an amazing job and the service staff in the restaurant and bar were also excellent The rooms - interconnecting- were spacious and decorated nicely We had a slight issue the first night with bedding but the staff came immediately and rectified it

The location and staff are amazing. We had a brilliant stay and everything was spot on. Great view from the restaurant and the room and very close to everything. Excellent staff throughout. The pool facilities are great and the playroom is well appointed, pool table and all. Great big room with large beds, bath and shower and Rituals products throughout.

Arrange in advance to have robes delivered for access to pool. We had to wait a bit before they were provided. And with 4pm check-in and family swim time until 7 it was pretty tight.

The Limerick Strand is a modern property in an incredible location! We especially love to have on-site parking when traveling. The room had all amenities expected. While we did not eat at the restaurant on site, the menu looked great and was always busy -

The A/C thermostat would not cool our room as it should have - had to call for maintenance each day to have it adjusted. While it was immediately resolved, a pain none-the-less! Considering the image this hotel evokes, pretty sure all A?C problems are getting addressed OR should be -

Beautiful hotel, spotless clean, within walking distance to city centre and Thomond Park Stadium

Not enough staff behind the bar especially on match days, waited half an hour to get a drink, was ignored by staff 3 times as locals were served first, room service is non existent, tried to order food and phone just keeps ringing out, so had to order in food, bar food was ok again not enough staff had to go to the bar to put in food order, was waiting almost an hour for a club sandwich 🙄

Loved the hotel, room was on the executive floor so we had access to the lounge which was great. We were returning guests so knew what to expect but from the moment we were greeted at reception, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

At breakfast, my friend who is coeliac asked for gluten free toast. It took about 20mins and asking multiple times before it appeared. There's a separate section for gluten free cereals, why can there not be gluten free bread here also and a separate toaster

Safe in room 335 broken , despite Donaghs efforts could not get it fixed , ever . Acknowledging staff difficulties , I think they need more training . 2 mornings run out of glasses , but senior who went to rectify ,wasted time 1) opened cubbord , 2) put glasses up on counter 3)Then got tray . 4) then transferred glasses to tray 5)carried in tray , Then emptied tray onto other tray . !!!!! 6 operations which should be 3 , All this while a junior seemed to be standing ,awaiting a job . A suggestion

The staff were so friendly and professional. From the moment you enter with the reception staff until you leave. Nothing was any trouble. Especially Susan who was so thoughtful to put a birthday greeting plate with sweets in our room plus his twin brothers room. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and polite. The rooms are very modern with all you could want in the bathrooms, using rituals toiletries

Having to pay for parking in hotel carpark

There was so many staff so we never needed to go far for help. The staff were friendly and charming, and so helpful! The beds were so comfortable and the room was spotless. The view from the lift is absolutely phenomenal! Restaurant was beautiful and food was delicious.

One of the lifts wasn’t working on our second day which did cause some minor delays. The room, we felt, was overpriced considering that it did not include breakfast (€13) or parking (€9 per night). The car park was extremely full on the Saturday night, with a good few cars taking up two spaces so it was hard to find a space. Perhaps if the hotel could take registrations of cars upon check in it would be easier to have cars moved or tidied up when necessary!

The staff were exceptionally helpful, with great advice on local attractions etc. Susan on reception was particularly helpful and a joy to speak with some to. Andy, serving in the River Bar, has a great sense of humour and gave us a couple of joyful evenings over several pints and good food.

The room entry magnetic keys were very temperamental, and we had to return to reception twice to get the keys re-charged. There were no toilets on the ground floor, nor in the bar area. Also, the price of breakfast was excessive for small appetite, elderly persons wanting a simple croissant, orange juice and coffee.
