I have to say that of all the places I have stayed I have never come across somewhere where the staff were so kind and accommodating. I arrived at 9pm just as the kitchen closed and the receptionist immediately got a waiter to see if the kitchen could hold on to cook me something as he knew I had travelled a distance. The waiter then had food and a glass of wine ready for me by the time I finished checking in and left up my bags. The woman over breakfast was so attentive and helpful to me and others. It was actually just lovely to see the genuineness of it all. The room was really comfortable and nicely decorated. The atmosphere in general was just so cosy. It was a pity I hadn’t more time there to properly enjoy it.

Parking during the day might be an issue but wasn’t for me due to arriving and leaving outside of paid parking times.

Was extremely impressed I booked this late in the day and had little expectation just needed a bath & somewhere to sleep for the night with an early start for a race in UL. From the moment I landed I fell in love. The decor the intimacy, the staff were unbelievable. The man at reception ( apologies no name ) couldn’t have been more helpful friendly but not over kill, v genuine . I got food service to my room & Tea . The room was amazing v comfortable and stylish just the perfect size & the Epsom salt baths were made for me ! ( I had just completed 150k cycle around Clare) I had the soundest sleep ever & the morning man on duty made me a lovely coffee & we’d a great chat before heading off. I was grateful for the private car park as I had 2 bikes in the car.

That I arrived late & had to leave early!

I have done a lot of traveling lately. This was my favorite stay! I want to come back just to stay here again! I didn't get to enjoy the spa, due to scheduling, so I don't know how that aspect was. But the room was so well set up. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. This hotel really goes above and beyond to make you feel that way. The breakfast was not a typical hotel breakfast. It was a delicious chef cooked meal! Served with fresh orange juice and French press coffee! I could not ask for better. Everything was so intricately crafted to make their guests have nice stays.

The room was probably one of the most beautiful and spacious we've ever stayed in. Bed was so comfy-beautiful linens.I felt like I was in a an elegant bedroom in a mansion. The bar and dining area were just gorgeous.

The only negative was that there was not an elevator on our side, although the front desk clerk did carry my bags up for me. It was kind of hard to find -our Google maps took us there but maybe because it was raining, we had a hard time finding it. We finally googled a photo of it and came around the block again and were able to see. I think it kept saying it was on our right but it was actually on the left!

Great location. Room was lovely

The woman at the front desk was friendly but spoke so quickly we couldn’t understand her. She also gave very vague directions so we had to repeatedly ask for explanations. Directed us to parking area and said she watch for us which we assumed meant she would let us in. Waited and then called on the intercom. Had a difficult time finding the button to open the gate to walk out.

Everyone that worked at this hotel was so helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the comfort of the room and the bathroom with a tub was an added bonus. Breakfast was also enjoyable.

This hotel exceeded what my husband and I were expecting before we arrived. One thing was the parking was a bit confusing. Since we arrived later at night we didn't get a spot in the hotel's parking lot.

This is a lovely boutique hotel beautifully restored. The rooms are named after Irish writers, which is a nice idea and it's right on the corner of the People's Park for a walk. The room is smallish, but very comfortable and spotless. The room is nicely appointed with robe/slippers & comfortable. Great bathroom. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was in a lovely room, and was fine.

I spent ages looking for the coffee machine but there isn't one; not even a tray with a kettle. A nespresso should be there, really. I did say so on checkout and they said they provide complimentary beverages to the room. There should be a note to this effect & I would have been happy to order. The restaurant was closed as it was a Monday (but there should be some room service hot food, to avoid walking into the city). I was a late arrival and wouldn't do so in the dark. In fairness they emailed in advance to say so, but a 4* hotel is a 4* hotel...

The staff was super friendly and Helpful. They held my bag during my early arrival, made good recommendations to eat and hang out. The amenities were next level great (Room, Grooming products , Bed and linens/Towels ). The spa downstairs was also next level. I love spa`s and I rank this one as one of the best I have had (Decor , quiet , peaceful , great Massage and wellness products). Breakfast . lunch and tea time were great eats (I found just the supper was not at the same level from a price perspective)

Nothing TBH

The location was great - I walked with my luggage from the train station. I had a wonderful dinner (vegetarian) in the dining room and then took a walk down to King John's castle to explore the area. It felt very safe and it was wonderful to walk along the river. I hope to return and highly recommend this small, friendly hotel.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like!

Beautiful property on a park … lovely location in Limerick. Great access to Cliffs of Moher. Attentive staff and liked the pots of tea in the bar/lounge area. Good to find ginger and lemon tea. Great brekkies. Loved the eclectic use of wallpaper and fabrics .. quite sumptuous.

Needed a sheet for sleeping - doonas too warm.
