I have been to this hotel many times. its a wonderful place. staff was amazing and the facilities were amazing. the food is delicious and very generous

I was however very dissapointed this year with the rooms since we received the rooms on the 6th and 7th floor. i have never had these rooms before so didnt know them. for the amount of money charged, even though it is full borad, the rooms on floor 6 and 7 are not good enough

We loved the beds by the pool! The meals offered more healthful fare than the usual buffets at hotels. There was a lovely exercise room and well equipped gym. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was attentive.

Even though I'd requested no feather pillows, there were feather pillows when we arrived. They came promptly to switch them, but my request should have been attended to before our arrival. I wish the outdoor pool were open until a later hour, rather than closing several hours before sunset. The room was on the small side (especially considering the super high price!) but was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmel Forest. The rooms were very nice and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Having access to the spa and both pools was an absolutely fantastic way to spend our vacation and we were able to spend our whole stay within the resort and never get bored or need for anything. Thank you for a very relaxing vacation and I hope to return soon!

Some of the food could have been better, but I appreciated that there were many different options for people with dietary restrictions.

It's a beautiful hotel. The location of course - it's in the midst of an expansive forest, overlooking an exceptionally scenic panorama stretching from forest to sea - couldn't be better. The facilities are first class. The food was plentiful, varied and for the most part excellent.

it's a bit pricey but that's to be expected here I didn't see why the shower was designed in such a way that it's difficult to prevent water from emerging into the bathroom

We enjoyed the surroundings - beautiful gardens, the pool, the prioirty given to art works. The meals were rather nice especially the a la carte menu. The bedroom was spacious. The staff were generally helpful and tried to accommodate.

The furnishings in the bedroom were drity, shabby, and uncomfortable. In some areas the dining room was too crowded. There was a degree of repetition in the food provided for meals though the food was good and adequate. The decaffeinated coffee in the dining room was awful Nescafe instant. Why can't Nespresso capsules be used? The omelettes are not what we are used to. Some of the staff in the spa area where the treatments took place were a little irritable. A box for tips for the staff would be helpful. Activties provided are almost all in Hebrew - some English would be appreciated.

Breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing - so much choice and all delicious. The whole setting of the hotel was peaceful and beautiful, especially the pool area. Noticeably adult-only which was perfect.

Building works were being carried out on site during the afternoons which was a shame, but one staff member did apologise for this. Was also slightly underwhelmed by the size of the room. We'd booked one of the suites which looked much bigger in photos than in real life, but was still lovely and perfectly comfortable. We were also visiting on our honeymoon and had noted this upon booking, but this must have been missed as there was no gesture/mention from the hotel.

We syayed for a long weekend and it was a wonderful  experience from start to finish The best thing about this hotel is the service the staff are friendly accommodating and polite. Hotel rules are kept politely but assertively for the benefit of the other guests Facilities are beautiful with old world charm. I especially liked walking in the manicured garden with little stone fountains, so relaxing. . There is the indoor and outdoor swimming pools which are clean and not too busy. I had a facial and body treatments they were all done by professional and kind ladies. I would like to especially mention Natifa, a  such  she genuinely loves taking care of people and is warm and professional. The food is unbelievable. Especially the many different salads. The food at dinner doesn't fall from thw best restaurants we've been to in Israel and the world . All and all a great relaxing experience and we will definitely return in the future.

We were however a bit underwhelmed by the movie in the evening. Usually the evening entertainment is much more interesting and unique

Wow! I have never been at a better hotel. From the first second we arrived, in a secluded area in Israel, with nature all around - we had a feeling it would be great. Then we got in, and the staff were SO accommodating, everything was so clean, well thought out, and perfectly designed - it was way better than we ever imagined, and we can't wait to get back there again! I would highly recommend trying a few of the activities they offer- Pilates (on Sups?!), Yoga, Foot massage for couples, etc'. It made the stay that much nicer...

I can't think of anything. There was a point where the a/c in our room didn't work, or the keycard malfunctioned - but even these were taken care of quickly.

Staff support and politeness, location and gardening, cleanliness.

Dining room is too small. It feels like a bee hive, crowded and noisy. The food is a little bit higher quality than standard hotels we expected more for the price we paid

Food amazing, accommdation perfect. Wonderful relaxing and peaceful stay.

On arrival there was an error and my credit card was charged twice, as it was an international cc it took 4 days to return funds!!! During my balancing massage i think the masseuse wasnt paying attention when doing my feet and may have been reading something?? her phone!.
