The swimming pool is nice and the rooms are very big and comfortable, everything was really clean. We could do a late check out free of cost.

We did not get the room until 3 pm. We had to wait one hour in the restaurant. They gave us two drinks on the house but when checking out they were in the bill. Everything is overpriced, especially food and drinks in the restaurant, really expensive, does not make sense. Try to pay everything on time, not in the check out, otherwise you won’t understand the bill and what you are paying.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything is considered and reflects a true 5 star hôtel experience - the staff, quality of decor, cleanliness and food. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter. The breakfast is amazing quality and service second to none. Renovated rooms are extremely comfortable, with attention to detail and high quality materials. The pool is a dream! Next time I’m in Delhi I’m staying here :)

Nothing! I loved my stay at this hotel. * Renovations are in process (some reviews comment on this) - But it was never an impact on the enjoyment of my stay!

A wonderful experience, spacious and very comfortable room , it was home away from home, staff excellent who treated with us with much love, Narender the chauffeur who picked us from the airport at 2am was great, Varun Gupta and Akshat at breakfast, Jaya, Usha, Sahel from housekeeping, Amresh at the lift were all amazing. Food was excellent. It’s was truly a five star awesome experience. The receptionist who checked us in at 2am was great and made things easy for us. We love you Taj Mahal and we definitely come back when in India.

We had nothing to complain

Everything was perfect and can’t fault this property! I had called ahead to organise a surprise room set up for my mother in law who was turning 80 and for my husbands birthday during our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth and staff went out of their way to decorate the room with flowers and balloons and even provided a bouquet of flowers for my Mum and a birthday for both my husband and Mums birthday. Through the stay our room was kept immaculate, staff at breakfast both restaurants were attentive and accomodating. Central location to all the major shopping and tourist places in New Delhi. A very special thank you to Prinyaka for making our stay memorable and for all the fort she put in to ensure the room was decorated beautifully.

Nothing! Absolutely perfect!

The hotel exceeded my expectations from the first moment of arrival with great service and explanation about the hotel facilities, the Taj Club, which will be a reason for me to come back and the location of the hotel in the heart of Delhi. The Gym has an instructor for most of the hours during the day, which was a great addition, and the team went above and beyond to make my stay even better.

On my last morning, I went to the Taj Club for breakfast at 7 am sharp, as I had a flight to catch. For some reason, it seems they weren't fully prepared for people to arrive that early. I would expect that when breakfast starts at 7 am, it will be ready to serve on time.

Breakfast at the Machhan was excellent, the suite and view was excellent, as was the central location. Really appreciated the welcome drinks, and that my small nephews who had come to visit with my sister were also offered welcome drinks. The guest services were also very prompt, such as when I was dressing for my book launch in the evening and needed a safety-pin for my sari! The check-in and check-out were professional and seamless. All in all, a great stay! Kudos to your team :)

When I checked in, the bedroom was set on heating mode and it took a while to cool down. The staff member came and helped and then the air conditioning began to function well again. Other than that, everything was great.

Amazing property, a true oasis in the bustling city of Dehli. The scent, the people, the little details. The very first time I feel that I am spoiled by a hotel. Is quite amazing to see that everyone wanted to work at the hotel, all with a pleasant smile and sophistication without being bourgeois. I also find it amazing that we had choices for restaurant for breakfast. Wish I have more time at the hotel, will definitely return to experience the Indian hospitality.

There were one or two issues of miscommunication from the front office, but nothing to discount the experience.

Good breakfas. Plenty of selections, both Indian and western. The place is quiet and with a nice view of the pool, the trees that surrounds the city. The afternoon tea and the cocktails were also great! It was very relaxing. The staff mixed good cocktail drinks. The staff were so professional and so warm. I commend the great service of Rahul, who was so friendly and keep his smile at all times, Sweta, Ujjawal. Laxmi, Varun, and Arohi delivered great service too. They gave us great experience during our stay. Thank you also to the office manager ,Shahjahan . He always keep on checking on us.

Everything was amazing we stayed around 20days and all was so comfortable specially the Taj club stuffs I felt like I was home they all was so nice and takin care of us well. Specially, Mr. Ujjawal Bajaj was so professional, and always got everything we needed he even got our breakfast ready at 5am the day we were checking out since our flight was early. We love Taj hotels in general and can’t wait to come back!

We would like to give hearty high praise to the room service of Mr. Ganeshyam who took excellent care of our room, with minute attention to details, care and cleanliness. We were also very happy with the upgrade we got on the room, which was beautiful. However there were two downsides that we think the hotel should take into consideration (below).

1) The breakfast - it was an "a la carte" system that simply didn't work. The service was slow, inefficient, unorderly. It felt like the whole scene wasn't managed properly - loads of waiters who didn't know what to do. We kept wondering why they changed the previous excellent buffet system, and it was challenging even to get salt... 2) Even though we stayed in a beautiful spacious room, there was constant irritating noise of dragging that came from the inner lift services of the hotel and the noise travelled in a way that highly disturbed our stay in the room throughout the day. The hotel tried to resolve the problem with no success.
