The rooms had just been refurbished and you could still smell the newness. Beds were so comfy and the temperature controls were easy to use. The aircon unit was very quiet too and we had a great night's sleep. There was a large shower cubicle and I particularly liked the full-length mirror. We also had inter-connecting rooms even though we hadn't asked for them so that was another bonus. To top it off the lady who booked us in was friendly and very efficient. Would definitely come back.

Can't fault it at all. Our stay was as good as and probably even better than other budget hotels whilst also a lot cheaper.

I loved how clean and comfy the bed, the room and the hotel is. The decor and the renovation was beautiful, the staff were lovely, polite and professional too. The location is ideal, too, especially with that private road to access the main road instead of going on the motorway. The security is fantastic too, the hotel keys worked straight away, no issues.

The walls weren't soundproof. I could hear next door and the other people all night, the doors shutting and toilet going. I did request a bath, but you didn't have one available. And the shower head is tiny in the shower.

Our rooms were clean and comfortable with a good supply of tea/coffee etc. The beds were very comfortable. Considering the inn was based at a service station, we were not disturbed by noise. The staff at the inn were welcoming, in particular Zoe and Katie.

We had vouchers for breakfast, but there was very little choice if you wanted to eat there later. The only place open in the roadchef was McDonalds. Due to the situation of the inn, it meant a drive out to find somewhere to eat in the evening. However there was a short walk from there to the village of Tibshelf, where we found an excellent Indian restaurant.

Was presently suprised how nice the rooms are considering the cheap price of £45 a night (week day) Really comfortable beds clean bedding decent size tv, tea coffee and kettle hand wash and shower gel in shower. Hair dryer and hanging space for clothing etc bran new Air con and heating system. Rooms are nicely set out and have recently refurbished. We stayed here with our little boy and Katie on reception was really friendly and couldn't help us enough during our visit she's a true credit to the place thankyou xx

Good room, helpful staff. Excellent wifi. Good facilities at Tibshelf Services for food etc.

Noisy neighbours in next room. Two groups arrived at 1.30 pm and all gathered in the room next door talking loudly. Impossible to sleep so I got up and spoke to reception. They immediately came up and the group quietened down for a while but still kept my partner awake. Fortunately my hearing is not so good. Next time we would ask for a room which doesn't have another room next to it eg room no. 22. Fortunately most guests are more considerate and respect other people's need of a good nights sleep.

Hotel was ideally located off the motorway and very close to East Midlands Shopping village. Room was large, comfortable and clean. We asked to move room due to some noisy neighbours and the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding: we were allocated a new room as good as the first room.

No restaurant or linked restaurant, however it was easy to use service station restaurants but many were not open into the evening.

We arrived early for a funeral. The receptionist was very friendly and bubbly who gave us our room key at 1pm which was great as the funeral started at 3pm. We've stayed in 4/5 star accommodation which were not as clean and well presented, light, Airy and warm. The receptionist gave us the number for Amber Taxis to get us to our function. Who arrived on time and was reasonably priced. We would definately be staying again.

Was very clean, spacious and accommodated us with our dog. Had loads of extra pillows, blankets etc. Our dog legit loved it so much there he didn’t want to leave when we had to go out. Staff were excellent and so kind and helpful. We will stay here again for sure as we have family in the area and if we ever travel again will use this chain. Super happy with the value for money and quality of it.

Comfy beds good size rooms clean and cool as it was a hot day outside

No advertising or information about the local pubs and restaurants in the area, we found a lovely local pub restaurant in the neighbouring village of tibshelf called the George and dragon and the food and the service was excellent and friendly staff so I got a menu and contact details from the pub to put in the reception of the hotel for future guests but the cleaner put it behind the reception desk which is not manned 24 hours so how will people know where is good to eat instead of the fast food outlets in the services needs addressing and could keep future guests very happy to know about the local area and the places they can go outside of the service area

The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room generally is fine. All that's required really is a bed and a bathroom. I also wouldn't hesitate staying here again as the hotel is very reasonably priced.

The room I was in was slightly run down. It possibly needs a bit of a refresh. There were stains on the surfaces in the bathroom and the radiator was the loudest thing known to man in the middle of the night. The walls are thin too. I had a few noisy neighbours during my stay.
