Microtel Inn By Wyndham Louisville East

There were two workers that were pretty nice in the lobby. One thing that stood out to me the most was how CLEAN my room was. Whoever is in charge of cleaning the rooms did an excellent job. My stay was from 09/30-10/01. The rooms were also really nice as well as the temperature. Any time I come back to visit I will make sure to come to this hotel!

Walking into the lobby was about a 10-minute wait. There were no workers around 2-3 am for us to check-in. Fortunately, there was a sign on the desk that did let us know where the worker was and how they will be back shortly which was nice. I honestly have no complaints about this place other than the lobby being a bit outdated and could use an upgrade similar to the rooms.

Clean and comfort. Close the the interstate and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Stayed twice with both stays being multiple days at a time. Double charged for the room until check out and the 2nd charge would fall off after 2 days. Which was ok unless your already on a budget. Only reason I won't stay here again. I don't need 600+ taken out of my account just to have half of it come back several days after checkout. That's a real shame.

The location is close to my family and inexpensive. Plus the staff always treat me nice.

The common area for breakfast wasn’t clean. I have been using the same location off and on for about 6years and I have never seen it like that all and night before.

We had a very nice stay with the people at this Microtel property. The desk clerks were very nice and they always asked us how things were going. The housekeeping staff checked to make sure what time we were out of our room so they could spruce it up. Coffee was available 24 hours a day and was always hot.

I did not like the breakfast bar, but it was OK. I have a new appreciation for Peanut Butter and Jelly on a Bagel. (Not Bad) I wish we had a bigger room and a Microwave to warm up leftovers. These were the only problems that we had during the trip. Very nice Hotel. Looking forward to being back in September.

Room was attractive and comfortable, especially for the price, and even though the room was smaller than a typical hotel room, it felt more spacious and efficient. I liked being able to perch in the window seat to read or eat dinner. Traveling alone, this was an ideal accommodation. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Louisville.

Breakfast was small and limited - white toast, bagels, juice and coffee. This is probably how they keep the cost low and not an issue as there are a number of restaurants nearby. Just make sure you bring your own or leave time to get breakfast when you leave.

Cleanliness, Staff and location for a fair price

They overbook the hotel and there were numerous people each night that didn't have a room including on of my friends and her staff. Also, the hallways are very dengue and need a new coat of paint and the carpet needs replacing and the lighting needs to be upgraded.

The staff at this Microtel is just excellent. The desk staff really makes you feel welcome and they always want to know what you are doing during the stay. The custodial staff was also awesome and whenever we said hi they always asked if there was something we needed.

The counter over the sink was a little too close to the faucett and we had trouble trying to get a full draw of water. Other than that, it was great. Loved the size of the bathroom.

Rooms nice, staff nice, clean

U charged twice for both reservations although I ended up checking out the day of original check out date. I paid you 40 cash for late checkout at 6pm and now your emailing me because your trying to charge me again? For what? U and I went over it that day the two charges.and that the debit for second reservation you took from 1st the difference but I still haven't reçieved my 45 deposit back and now your charging me for what again? You told me everything was worked out, even. It's not. Christie Jackson. May 2nd was check in date....

Good location. It was clean. Nice staff. It was around a lot of places where I can go to and where I needed to go.

Didn't have a microwave in the room so have to go downstairs to warm up my food and the room was a tad bit small And if it had better lighting in the center of the room that would be a lot helpful

The hotel was in the right area for our needs, the price was right, and it was clean. We’d stay here again if looking for a place for 1-2 nights. (If staying longer, splurge on one of the other hotels nearby.) The area felt safe and there are lots of fast food options.

The first room we were given was not cleaned, but they fixed that right away and moved us. The biggest drawbacks were the pillows and breakfast, which leave a lot to be desired. Also, bring your own hair conditioner if you need it as only shampoo, body lotion, and soap are provided.
