After reading some of the reviews, I was nervous about the noise but they have added extra doors to the balcony and window, so there was no noise at all. It is central, close to the port and had a beautiful view. There are some stairs to the property, but we managed. At check-in we did see someone who could help with the bags, so would be worth discussing that ahead of time if you need assistance. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great for what we needed.

The only thing we would say, is it would be nice to have a kettle in the room for teas and coffees in the morning.

It was wonderful! we booked two rooms since there were 4 of us. the rooms were clean and easy to use. shampoo and soap were available. they provided toothbrush upon request. the water was warm and had good pressure. the hotel does not offer help with luggage but they’re is a porter service available during the day for €10/luggage - we only found out about this bec the airlines lost our luggages and eventually delivered to hotel and Michela told us the porter service is €10/bag. I assume if you want this service you must inform the hotel ahead of time. AnnaMaria welcomed us with a lot of useful information. she also got help for us and our luggages. also, the next morning she also served us bfast after working all night! Michela was easy to work with booking our transfers, even last minute! the free bfast: I had read it doesn’t j kc U’re a whole lot but for us, it included everything they had…the meats, cheese, hot choc, bread…all served while enjoying the frontal view of the duomo. overall, wonderful stay.

my only complaint is the noise people made at night…motorcycles, breaking bottles and yelling, playing ball. whoever is causing these nuisance should really understand that their main livelihood is tourism and should really try not to drive tourists away. the noises made felt intentional - you could hear all this despite windows being closed. I am not decreasing Hotel rating asked on this as it’s not the hotel’s fault.

It was super central and the staff were lovely enough to send me a WhatsApp with a little map on how to get there as it’s just off some stairs by one of the patisseries so we wouldn’t of found it otherwise. It was very clean and felt very safe and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. The staff were also very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

Paid for a room with a balcony which advertises the duomo view but we had a back alley view which was a little disappointing, but the room was still perfect for what we needed for the night.

The location in Amalfi is wonderful. It is a little hard to find, and there are some stairs to climb with your luggage, but the staff contacted us on WhatsApp before our arrival with a video tour of how to find the hotel from the main square, which was very helpful.

The breakfast was a bit meager, but that’s my only negative comment, in fact, the coffee was great and the breakfast staff are wonderful.

The nicest and most helpful staff ever! both in the reception where they helped us with every little question we had about literally everything, and at the restaurant, where the waiters took such good care of us. The dinner at the hotel was a beautiful experience, food was amazing, view was spectacular and the atmosphere in general was indescribable. It was the perfect way to start over holiday in Amalfi. We had an amazing stay, and will gladly recommend Terrazza Duomo for any travelers.

Our room was just below the kitchen, I don’t know if you can install a door or something to prevent the kitchen noise, but it was really loud. Thankfully we were very tired every night, so it didn’t take us too long to fall asleep. But for others, it could be an issue, cause it could get really loud especially around 22-23 o’clock when the staff was cleaning/ closing.

Very noisy late at night with street noise & scraping of chairs from the restaurant above. The bathroom needs an update as it’s got a poor design and layout…no storage or bench space for toiletries & the shower was tiny and not very functional. Some of the front desk staff didn’t speak any English with makes it hard to communicate with the guests who are tourists

Fantastic location, beautiful, clean - rooms were cleaned daily, very helpful staff and the restaurant upstairs was incredible. A lot of reviews mention how noisy the rooms are but we didn’t have an issue at all.

Nothing - but be warned if booking through booking.com. Booking.com make it clear that the payment includes ‘all taxes’ and the invoice states ‘city tax’ as being paid. However the hotel request this in cash as you leave (which is normal in European countries). Its a shame booking.com don’t make this clear.

The location is great, the view to the Duomo it’s very pretty and you are in the buzz of the city. It’s also very close the pier, where you can come and go to another locations like, so you don’t need anyone to carry your luggage or get a taxi. Also the staff was very nice and polite.

The windows are not sound proof, you can hear all the noise from the Duomo till late night, also the bells from the Cathedral around 6am each 15min. Also the room we got had the restaurant above us and till late or early morning they were moving tables and was a bit noisy. You can definitely stay there, just make sure you have earplugs and enjoy the location.

This hotel has THE prime location in Amalfi. We had a room directly across from the church (with a view of it and the hills behind it), just above the main town square, about 200 metres from the bus stops and docks. With the windows open you get the sounds of the town and its culture floating in, close them and you barely hear a thing. The gentlemen serving breakfast are very polite and helpful and are locals, so you can even ask them about places they like in Amalfi town. Room was very stylish and clean.

The location is second to none - a 2 minute walk to the central square of the town, 4-5 minutes to the beach, ferry terminal, and bus depot. Too many restaurants and cafes around to choose from. The staff is friendly and welcoming and will introduce you to the warm hospitality and love shown by Amalfi Coast residents. The breakfast was superb - every day had the freshest, most invigorating coffee and orange juice, along with fresh pastries and rolls.

While our room was quiet from the noise from the city below us, it was situated next to the restaurant and we heard a lot of noise at night from the chefs preparing food and loud diners coming to and from the place. The room was not soundproof enough that we heard a lot of this noise and had trouble sleeping until it quieted down around midnight.
