Can’t beat the full wall of glass view in the room and spectacular lake views from the balcony!!!! Staff are friendly and excellent service! Ate dinner there and the tuna, pasta appetizer and beef were outstanding. Breakfast was very good and even offered scrambled eggs and multiple cups of cappuccino.Quiet location in a very clean room. The bed was a memory foam and so comfortable! Room had a/c but we opted to sleep with the doors wide open for the cool breeze off the lake. Loved it so much!!!! Thank you!!!

Hotel is in a cliff to the water with no safe place to walk. Taxi yo town is Euro 10 one way and worth the safety!

Without exception the staff are amazing, warm attentive and extremly helpful. The location of the San Carlo is simply Stunning the views over the lake are amazing day and night. The restraint is excellent also great wine. Many thanks to everyone forr making my stay perfect I look forward to seeing you again soon. Jon

Nothing other than I had to leave

Excellent restaurant. Very professional and friendly staff. Next to the statue :-) There is a terrace overlooking the lake. It is open to the customers, so even if you do not have a room with a balcony you can spend some time enjoying the view over the lake.

Winter time; the room was rather cold.

Everything was perfect in this traditional family hotel. The food in the restaurant was amazing.The facilitates were the same and even more than 4 stars hotel

I have nothing negative to declare .Whenever I will visit again this place for sure I wish to stay on this hotel.

Clean, nicely refurbished villa. Good size rooms. Easy parking. Beautiful views. Ate in restaurant on first night and it was excellent.

Leaky shower door. A bit out of the way - as a positive that meant it was very peaceful, but a bit lifeless. No local walks so have to take the car out to go exploring

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was small and peaceful with stunning views. A short drive into Arona, well worth a visit for the waterfront walk, bars and restaurants.

The food and drink menus are limited. No sandwich options for lunch. Lunch and dinner menus are the same.

The staff was professional, the food was excellent and the view of the lake is breathtaking. Just cca.20 m from the hotel is the Colosso di San Carlo di Borromeo and Chiesa di San Franco with a small historical exhibition.

The property is not reachable by foot, there is no sidewalk leading to it.

Amazing restaurant with a perfect view! Small breakfast but everything you need. Stuff was extremely friendly and we felt really welcomed! Would come back definitely.

Little bit noisy if you’re having a room to the street, but not too loud!

Amazing view from balcony, one of the best I’ve ever seen. Even if you don’t have a room with a view there is a shared deck with this view. You can buy a bottle of wine and snacks and take it all in.

The lady at reception was a little short with us initially but the other staff were fantastic. Quite tricky to find, our Google Maps sent us the wrong way.

The staff and their service were exceptional. The room was excellent, with a large terrace overlooking the lake. The bed now as very comfortable and the breakfast was good. We felt well looked after. The parking is private and your car is secure. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was nothing to dislike.
