My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at White Lilac B&B, and we had a fantastic experience. The location is superb - just a stone's throw away from the stunning Lake Maggiore, making it a great base to explore the area. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a direct access to the terrace, which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of tasty options to choose from, and we particularly appreciated the availability of plant-based milk for our coffee. Speaking of breakfast, we were delighted that we were able to enjoy it outside on the terrace when the weather permitted. It was the perfect way to start our day, with a view of the lake and the lovely garden. Overall, we had an excellent stay at White Lilac B&B, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The location, clean and comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast with plant-based milk and terrace seating make this B&B a standout choice for your next trip to Lake Maggiore.

We had a wonderful stay at The White Lilac. Donatella and Simon make you feel very welcome and at home! The villa is beautiful, surrounded by a well kept garden, a lovely swimming pool and private parking. We received great information from Simon, on sightseeing trips in the area. The beds were of very good quality and the breakfast was very good, with homemade jams and cakes, served in the lovely garden with a view of Lago Maggiore. We loved it!

A very romantic villa with view of the lake and private garden with a small pool situated in the small village of Dagnente. While the villa was full of couples, there was ample room to find quiet corners in the garden for breakfast or reading and even being together in the pool felt like family. The hosts were very friendly and made breakfast fitted personally to every taste, making eggs and hot drinks, and even lactose free products for my wife. We got great recommendations for restaurants to eat dinner and day trips in the area - we had a great time

There were no towels for the pool, so we had to use our own beach towels.

We loved our short stay here. The villa is just as depicted in the pictures: beautifully designed, offers nice views, and luxurious. Our room was huge, clean, carefully designed, air-conditioned+ and well-equipped. Breakfast was fresh, home made and delicious, with a wide selection. The pool is great. Parking is also safe and pretty convenient (given the way the Italian villages and villas around the lake are structured). The staff and owner are very nice.

A few vegetables can make the breakfast even better. Almost nothing within walking distance from the hotel, but a short drive to nearby Arona or (a bit farther) Stresa.

The property is well situated just outside Arona. It is newly renovated. It is fresh, clean and well maintained. It has a grand old feel about it. The owners are very polite, at tentative and welcoming. We only stayed the one night but would have liked to have stayed more. We will certainly consider a longer stay when next in the region.

beautiful, renovated villa with a view over lago maggiore and the castello. friendly reception by the host. the room was perfectly renovated, nice beds and modern bathroom. very quiet, even with double doors to the corridor as to really dampen all the noise. i asked for a bottle of wine, and it came in a nice cooled bucket of ice. prices very reasonable. excellent breakfast with everything you would want served by the hostess. we were there in november, so did not (even though we could have) used the pool. would be a lovely stay in spring and summer. highly recommended.

We visited as part of our honeymoon and the place is incredible, lovely rooms and great location with a pool. Very peaceful and relaxing but near all the sights of Lake Maggiore. Fab hosts, they arranged taxis for us when needed and left us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon which was very thoughtful.

Beautiful property, with spacious rooms, views of the lake, stunning interiors and a relaxing and peaceful garden and pool. Perfectly to located close to Arona and the other villages nearby. The breakfast was all locally sourced and you can sit in the garden and enjoy the views. I only wish we had been able to stay longer.

Simon, Donatella, and the staff were exceptionally nice and enjoyable.

our room required 23 steep steps up to the sleeping room and the bathroom was downstairs making it an interesting trek in the middle of the night and there was no comfortable chair in the unit which could be used for reading for example.
