The location of Al Pescatore is excellent, a stone's throw away from the Swabian Fort and right on the edge of the city center which is filled with alleyways and restaurants. Martino, our host, was kind and helpful and the offerings at breakfast daily were fresh and delicious. No hot entrees offered, but not needed because the quiches, fruit, cheeses and breads, hit the spot. There is a small daily parking charge and the covered lot is about a 2-block walk away. You can pre-pay in and out privileges in cash upon arrival. It was a bit cumbersome figuring out how to apply the pre-paid code for in and out of the garage initially but once we figured it out, it was easy.

Stairs are mandatory so you must be prepared for this. Martino took our bags up three flights of stairs for us and we're grateful. The rooms are small but modern and very clean. The only downside was no seating area in the room, only one foot stool. We had a balcony with two chairs but no table so after-touring hours there was little comfort to sit and relax in our room.

The accomodation is modern clean breakfast is good , location great taxi can drop you off front of property & you can walk straight into old town .. Martino is so nice & helpful & respond to message or questions & help your quickly he made it so welcoming for us this the 2nd time i stayed here . Its also great location to get to port to catch a cruise this is also why i choose here too ..

This time i found the bed to hard (brick like) maybe a topper on the matress would help but other than nothing …

Location at edge of Oldtown. Room ample size, clean towels daily plus toiletries. Air-con worked well. City view balcony small, 2 chairs, small table, looking over carpark & road, castle to left, tops of cruise ships in distance to right. Communication before and during stay excellent with Martino on reception. Breakfast buffet was good.

No fault found, great place. Just note there is no lift so be prepared for stairs.

The property is conveniently located and exceptionally clean and generally quiet at night. The breakfasts were very generous with a good selection to suit all tastes. Martino was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble including helping us carry our bags up to the third floor. His command of English was impressive and he was happy to engage in conversation with his guests. We felt totally welcomed in this place and we are happy to highly recommend it to future guests.

Absolutely no complaints.

We loved the location of the property and the room was cozy. It was perhaps a little small compared to other places we have stayed in, but, nevertheless, very comfortable. The host, Martino, was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. He upgraded us to a room with a balcony.

We were on the top floor (just below the top terrace) which was quite a climb upstairs (no elevator). This was fine for us as we like the exercise. Also, Martino ensured he helped us with our bags on the stairs.

Excellent location, walking from here to all main attractions is so easy and everything is right there. Given our needs to park in the centre, we were happy to find that parking was available right next to the property. We had the room view the balcony - and it was with it. the view on the castle during the day and at night is amazing. Finally, adjustment to the property is a seafood restaurant, which was amazing and well worth visiting, as both the location was perfect after the day and service was best to none. We appreciated the quality of the food and the produce was fresh, well taken care off and we want to applaud to the chef and owner who truly has a great team in this restaurant (It has same name is the property itself).

Location, cleanliness and Martino was so helpful.

We liked it all. Some points to consider: Ambient background music playing at breakfast. Nowhere to place your empty suitcase. The bottom of the wardrobe would be suitable if some of the additional bedding was removed and handed out when requested. Overall however we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Al Pescatore and we would certainly return. Thank you Martino.

The B&B is in a great location, being just on the edge Bari Vechio, the old town, and an easy walk from the train station. The rooms are very modern and stylish, with large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. A good buffet breakfast is served at a communal table along with great coffee. The reception staff are very helpful, speak good English, and are a mine of information on local places of interest and restaurants etc. We ate at the adjoining Al Pescatore restaurant on a couple of nights, which was good, if a little pricey.

Nothing. It was all good.

Outstanding accommodation on the edge of the old town but accessible by vehicle. We stayed for 5 nights. Breakfast was outstanding from salmon to tiramasu and lots of other yummy food. Maritone was an outstanding host even taking our bags to our room, no effort at all, informative and helpful. We could not fault this B&B and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing negative at all.

Martino always quickly and completely answered my pre-visit questions about things like parking options in the area, and was equally helpful making touring and restaurant suggestions once we were there.

There could have been a bit more marking of the first step down outside room 5. Before the light went on, it was tough to see the drop as the stone blended in so well with the step surfaces below. Small thing that did not effect our overall complete satisfaction with the place.
