What's not to like? The host, Martino, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Communicating in advance and always on hand during our stay with help and advice. The accomodation is in a refurbished Bari tower house with 3 floors and two rooms on each floor with a roof terrace. We had the room on the top floor which was nicely furnished, clean and quiet and even had our own balcony with seats. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows, fridge and coffee maker were provided. WiFi and AC good. Because the B&B only accomodated 12 people it took the unusual step of seating ua for breakfast around a single, large island which we loved. Choice of food for breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh, local produce and fantastic coffee made to order by Martino. We also received advice on and booking for a walking tour. Taxi booked for our departure to the airport.

Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Bright and clean room with really comfy beds. Breakfast was varied and good. The location is very good, near the old city center and lots of restaurants and supermarkets. The view from the rooms is part a parking lot but also the Castelo Svevo so it was good. One of the rooms had a balcony to relax at the end of the day, once that it was not so hot outside. There is other parking a little further from the hotel (10min walking) that is cheaper, like 6€ per day.

Everything was okey, no complaints. If we ever come back to Bari, surely we will stay here again.

The location of Al Pescatore is excellent, a stone's throw away from the Swabian Fort and right on the edge of the city center which is filled with alleyways and restaurants. Martino, our host, was kind and helpful and the offerings at breakfast daily were fresh and delicious. No hot entrees offered, but not needed because the quiches, fruit, cheeses and breads, hit the spot. There is a small daily parking charge and the covered lot is about a 2-block walk away. You can pre-pay in and out privileges in cash upon arrival. It was a bit cumbersome figuring out how to apply the pre-paid code for in and out of the garage initially but once we figured it out, it was easy.

Stairs are mandatory so you must be prepared for this. Martino took our bags up three flights of stairs for us and we're grateful. The rooms are small but modern and very clean. The only downside was no seating area in the room, only one foot stool. We had a balcony with two chairs but no table so after-touring hours there was little comfort to sit and relax in our room.

We loved our stay here! The room was extremely clean with a cute balcony. We arrived late at night hungry. All shops were closed, so it was really nice to find a package with the local bread slices that the host left for us in the room. The location is perfect! Close to the nice sandy beach Lido San Francesco where you can rent a sunbed and umbrella for the whole day. The dining room is very authentic and offers great breakfast with local fruits, fish and cheeses. Highly recommend this place!

The accomodation is modern clean breakfast is good , location great taxi can drop you off front of property & you can walk straight into old town .. Martino is so nice & helpful & respond to message or questions & help your quickly he made it so welcoming for us this the 2nd time i stayed here . Its also great location to get to port to catch a cruise this is also why i choose here too ..

This time i found the bed to hard (brick like) maybe a topper on the matress would help but other than nothing …

Location at edge of Oldtown. Room ample size, clean towels daily plus toiletries. Air-con worked well. City view balcony small, 2 chairs, small table, looking over carpark & road, castle to left, tops of cruise ships in distance to right. Communication before and during stay excellent with Martino on reception. Breakfast buffet was good.

No fault found, great place. Just note there is no lift so be prepared for stairs.

The property is conveniently located and exceptionally clean and generally quiet at night. The breakfasts were very generous with a good selection to suit all tastes. Martino was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble including helping us carry our bags up to the third floor. His command of English was impressive and he was happy to engage in conversation with his guests. We felt totally welcomed in this place and we are happy to highly recommend it to future guests.

Absolutely no complaints.

We loved the location of the property and the room was cozy. It was perhaps a little small compared to other places we have stayed in, but, nevertheless, very comfortable. The host, Martino, was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. He upgraded us to a room with a balcony.

We were on the top floor (just below the top terrace) which was quite a climb upstairs (no elevator). This was fine for us as we like the exercise. Also, Martino ensured he helped us with our bags on the stairs.

The location is excellent for visiting the Old City. There is a large public carpark nearby for those arriving by car. Rooms are delightful with fresh, minimal decor. Good bathrooms with supply of robes and slippers. Breakfast was generous and high quality. Martino the Host was very helpful, nothing too much trouble. The restuarant associated, Al Pescatore, was of high standard and popular with locals. Book in advance. Highly recommend.
