Great, friendly staff, beautiful decor with paintings and antiques lining the corridors. Lovely high ceilings, bright, spacious, airy rooms. Comfortable bed, fantastic shower (though it takes a little while to reach temperature) and well proportioned, spotless bathrooms. Great facilities with a mini kitchenette in the double room. I love the location near the old city and funicular and a little walk from the central areas of the citta bassa. Great bus links to Bergamo airport and the station. We stay here every time we come by Bergamo and love it!

Apartment was very clean with very nice decor. Bathroom was big and had a dividing door to the mirror and sink which was very useful. It was warm (we stayed in November) and cosy with nice natural light. Liked the fact there was a couch to relax on and a small table and chair set. Fridge was very welcome. The bed and mattress were very comfortable albeit two singles connected to make a large double. We slept really well. Location is fantastic and perfect for exploring Citta Alta as well as Citta Basa. Some great bars in close proximity including one literally a few doors down which seemed very popular with locals. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were friendly and kind particularly on the last day when we were allowed to leave our bags at the reception after 11am check out. This is really helpful and greatly appreciated especially as we had a late flight. The staff even called us a taxi as the airport bus, though much cheaper, can be very crowded. Thanks guys for a lovely stay 🙌.

There was nothing to dislike. My only suggestion would be perhaps more than the 2 x plug sockets to be able to charge phones / devices but this is just a minor point.

- amazing helpful staff, gave us lots of useful information on the local area - hotel is really nice, modern boutique with a classic feel - comfortable bed, fridge in room which was useful, very clean room, big modern bathroom with rain shower - great location within walking distance of all main sights (very close to stadium too). Lots of cool churches and art galleries nearby - amazing hotel, perfect for a stay in Bergamo -stylish room

Beautiful rooms, very clean, great location. We had been overbooked at our original hotel and we were very glad we chose the Academia as an alternative.. Staff were very friendly, location very near to the old city walls.Rooms looked exactly like the photos. We definitely would stay here again

This apartment was bright and incredibly spacious with high ceilings, excellent air conditioning, a comfortable bed, stylish bathroom fittings and a generous kitchen. Romantic! The gorgeous antique and marble furniture and watercolour paintings added to its flare. The lift was a definite bonus. The apartment also has access to a lovely terrace. The reception staff were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. We would gladly return again go enjoy this glamour and luxury, just by the enchanting città alta! Just 500m from a straight bus ride to Bergamo Airport.

Room and staff were great. The staff made a welcome card for my son that he loved, was really thoughtful.

I thought the parking was onsite when I booked. But reading the listing again it clearly states it's in a private car park within walking distance. It's only 10mins walk away but after a long drive with 2 kids I just wanted to park at the hotel.

the room was spacious and included a kitchen with basic facilities. it was quiet and in a convenient location. staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

it wasn’t easy to get to it. we were glad to be able to find free parking some 15 min walk away. it took some planning to be able to retrieve our luggage after getting the car but it all worked out at the end.

.Cozy and clean apartments. Very friendly and helpful multi-lingual staff. They helped us a lot being in fact our guide to Bergamo. Apartments are very clean and well equipped. No coffee in the room? You don't need it in Italy! Take a tour to another country :) Great location. Easy to get by bus from Bergamo airport. Very close to Citta Alta. Many restaurants and cafés just near. Highly recommended!

Wonderfully bright apartment that was lovely, modern and clean. Loved the large windows with an inviting garden view that opened to let in the cool, fresh air along with birdsong every day. The entire building interior was modern and beautifully decorated. Especially loved the local artwork that was available to buy, hanging in the apartment hallways. Staff were very kind, welcoming and very helpful. Apartment was in a great location, close to the Cita Alta section of Bergamo.

We enjoyed our stay in Academia Residence. The location is very convenient! It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful during our stay.
