Good location, spectacular view on Citta Alta from the balcony, cleen rooms, very nice staff, good breakfast.

There is room to improve phonic isolation from street noise.

Great location, only 14 minutes walk from the train station. Bus stop nr 1 just 2 minutes from the hotel (the route is from the airport to Citta Alta). Around 10 minutes from the funicular stop. We had a Beautiful view from our room. Good breakfasts, very nice staff. We arrived very early, we could leave our luggage at the reception, and when we came back at 12, the room was already ready was us and our suitcases were in the room.

There was a problem in the bathroom, because the glass is too small for the shower and the water was everywhere on the floor. Unfortunately, when we checked out we were charged with the TAX (28€) despite booking said it is already included in the price.

An excellent hotel in the center of Bergamo, within walking distance of the funicular that takes you up to the old town, Città Alta. We arrived early in the morning, much earlier than the official check-in time, but our room was already ready. What was especially nice was that we were upgraded for free, and the room had a magnificent view of the old town and the square in front of the hotel. Housekeeping was daily, and the towels were changed every day as well. The breakfasts were fairly simple, but everything was tasty, especially the pastries. We will definitely return here and recommend it to everyone planning to visit Bergamo!

We were in rooms 520, 521, and 523 Sept 10 2024. Those rooms (perhaps not all) had been recently renovated within and were wonderful. Large modern bath, King bed, terrific AC, modern lighting, mini-frig etc and a view of the old City on the hill. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the funicular to the charming old city. New city part was fun and beautiful in its own right. If you don't want to wait for the funicular, the walk up takes about 15 minutes and is nice unless you have mobility issues or young children in strollers. The breakfast room was very large and very good offering typical European fare with some warm items like scrambled eggs and bacon. Room value was terrific for price. Staff was friendly and helpful to get drivers.

To make it perfect, it might have been nice to have a more casual restaurant for dinner. We didn't go to the restaurant on the top floor as it looked pricey and we had been out all day/tired. There are however other restaurants nearby so it isn't really a problem.

We loved the step out balcony, and had a corner room with views of the upper city and clock towers. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional-- from local meats and cheeses, fresh fruits, cappuccinos to croissants and yogurt, to bacon and eggs and pastries, juices, marmalade-- I can't praise the breakfast highly enough! The location was perfect for us-- a few minutes walk to the funicular to the Citti Alta, a wonderful place to explore ancient churches and a castle. Downtown shopping was easily accessible too. Many cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend for couples.

It's a small thing, but the floor in our room was dusty. We only noticed because tiny dust bunnies stuck to the bottom of our slippers. The rest of the room was spotless, though, and the bed was great, as was the shower.

Hotel was well situated in the lower town. Was easy to find and not too far from rail station ,we took a taxi there but walked back when we left. Wifi in the room was a bit scratchy, had to keep logging on. The room was typical hotel room, clean and comfortable but only just big enough for 2 people travelling with suitcases and hand luggage. coffee and tea making provided, fridge also, bathroom clean,good .We had a room with balcony and looked out upto the 'Citae Alta' . Hotel was in easy walking distance to the funicular rail up to the old town,and easy walking around the lower town. Bergamo is a great place to visit . Staff were helpful if needed.

This is very near to the cite alto, the beautiful old part, you could either take funicula railway or walk. The staff were all friendly and helpful, from reception to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. I didn't use the rooftop restaurant but it looked amazing and I heard good reviews from those who did. Everything was clean and in good repair. It was nice to sit in large reception area instead of my room. Lovely aircon on very hot days.

Perhaps a handheld shower as well as the top one. The shower was only small, and doors needed to be closed or the water would go over the floor, a shock as water cold at first. Not a big deal but you need a shower cap if not washing your hair. Hair drier poor quality. Neither problems that much of an issue.

The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was nice and clean with a big bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, a big variety of salty and sweet options plus options for vegetarians and vegans. The hotel is located in front of a nice park and only 10 minutes on foot from the funicular to get to the Citta Alta. On the rooftop, there is a really nice restaurant with a beautiful view on the Citta Alta.

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we could sometimes hear the guests from the room next to us because our room was at the end of the hallway and there seemed to be a door between our room and the room next to us.

Big, clean, ellegant room having a small balcony (which i really enjoyed), with a view to the surrounding buildings. The hotel is also very nice and ellegant. Breakfast with quality food and many food options available -continental breakfast, pastry, cakes, fruits, etc Offers a kettle with coffee, tea and sugar available Good position, close to railway station, bus no 1 (which goes from the airport to Citta Alta), funicular and many coffee shops and restaurants Great selection of TV programs , many sport ones and even one from home :)

No chair or coffee table on the balcony The TV had to be restarted every time to function as cable signal was easily lost The wall-mounted shower, being fixed in the wall it was hard not to wet your hair or the bathroom

The location of the hotel is great, right in the middle of the old and the new town. Funicular stop is a few minutes walk from there and there is also a bus station right outside the hotel where the airport bus stops. The room was very nice, modern and nicely renovated. The bed was super comfy, and we really enjoyed our sleep. I loved that the room lights were switched from touch screen electric boards. Breakfast was nice, offering many different options and staff at the reception were polite and helpful. I definitely recommend it for your stay in Bergamo.
