We stayed at the apartment on the ground floor so from our terrace there was direct access to the garden with a beautiful view. It was perfect for the kids and also comfortable for the adults. One of the rooms was facing the street, you could hear the cars, but nothing very noisy, even if you stay with a kid. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment, but we did not cook, only prepared som sandwiches and fruits. The location was awesome, close to the store and public transportation. Of course it’s uphill as everything in the old city so this is something you can not avoid, but you have to bear in mind. Cleaning was done even on Sunday what we did not expect. Enrica was super nice, communication with her was fast and easy. We are planning to return and I’m definitely not looking for anything else, we have found the right place. Definitely recommend:)

Unfortunately we couldn’t have breakfast on Sunday. It must be beautiful to eat in the garden in the morning (and convenient). But it’s definitely not a problem, just a pity. And it’s a well deserved day off for everyone, so no complaints at all.

Room was large and well soundproofed, garden views from windows very pleasant. Bed very comfortable. We appreciated the fact that a young relative of the owners was there to let us into the property on our arrival at 2am! And Bergamo Alta is a beautiful, active and elegant town designed for humans not cars, with excellent and well-priced restaurants and friendly residents.

Advert did not say that property is on a steep hill, which one needs to climb to get to the centre of town. This was difficult for us, since we are not young. It was also unfortunate that the property owners were away during our visit, therefore we only met staff briefly on our arrival and just before our departure.

Returning to this property and meeting the owner again we were pleased to see everything was as good as it had been previously , with excellent arrangements and local information for a very pleasant stay in Bergamo's Citta Alta. Catering for all our requests at breakfast set us up for a great day exploring the sights and old city atmosphere.

Enrica has refined guest arrangements and hospitality over many years and with numerous visitors has tried to cater for everyone's reasonable requests. An excellent host that has retained her enthusiasm to make visitors welcome to enjoy the experience of staying in Entro Le Mura.

The property is situated in Citta Alta. Just a few minutes away from Piazza Vecchia. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and airy. My room overlooked the street outside but it was quiet. The room had a comfortable double bed as well as a single. There was a ceiling fan which cooled the room really well. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent with hot water at all times of the day. Although I didn’t have breakfast the breakfast room was well stocked. The accommodation has WiFi. I had such a lovely stay that I am planning to come back and stay again and bring my friends along next time. Thank you Enrica and staff! Ciao!

Super central location for visiting Bergamo. Lovely to stay in such an ancient building. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Beds very comfortable, bedding extremely fresh and clean, 2 bedroom apartment and double bedroom with garden view just perfect for 6 adults and possible to have all single beds, fairly basic and very clean. Has everything you need. Garden a little haven of peace. Breakfast excellent and host very attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of Entro Le Muro, the garden with its view, the tasty and substantial breakfast, and Enrica and her staff were all exceptional. We were a party of six two of whom had difficulties with their homeward travel arrangements, and Enrica was brillaint with them. She cheerfully sorted out their tickets at very short notice even though she must have had so much to do at that time of the morning. We enjoyed our stay very much.

There was nothing wrong with our two bedroomed apartments. They were very clean, comfortable and well equipped . But more suitable to a family sharing than older couples who like more privacy. I should have booked us all into the individual rooms with their individual bathrooms. It was my mistake.

We loved the location and the ability to have two bedrooms. The garden and view were stunning and had good chairs and tables. Was difficult sometimes because one couple monopolized the prime spot each day. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. Having a clothes steamer available was nice. Plenty of room in the apartment. Very basic kitchen but usable. The location is wonderful. We would stay here again. Housekeeping came each day to tidy up and leave more towels.

The grout in the tile of the bathroom needed deep cleaning. The shower like most we encountered in Italy was small. Our hostess left the morning after we arrived for her own vacation so we didn't see anyone after that. although her son was apparently still in the building. I sent a what's app message about a question as directed but got no answer. Some minor traffic noise but not enough to disturb our sleep.

A beautiful old house very close to the centre of Citta Alta. Around the corner from Piazza Vecchia where there are many restaurants/shops/bars to choose from.The house itself is immaculately kept and Enrica is a lovely host and most helpful. Breakfast was served out in the garden which has lovely views of the mountains. Within walking distance to many of the sights too.

We found it hard to find as the only sign for the house is on the doorbell and the none of the houses on the street had numbers either. The time of our stay was in the middle of a heatwave and the house itself was very airy but the room had no air conditioning so we found it hard to sleep.

B&B Entro Le Mura is a beautiful property in a great location. My family; me, my wife and our two sons (4 & 6) were given such a warm welcome and we had a really lovely stay. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the heart of Cita Alta for all the sights, shops, cafes and restaurants. Thank you so much to Enrica and her team for taking such good care of us. We certainly look forward to returning in the future.

This property was advertised as a two-bedroom apartment with cooking facilities - which was exactly what we needed, and what we got - with the bonus of a perfect location in a sixteenth century town-house, a few moments walk from the mediaeval centre of Bergamo in the old high town.

We overloaded the electrical circuit in the kitchen a couple of times: two induction hobs, a kettle and a microwave - not intended to be used all at the same time. But a minor inconvenience which we learnt to live with, and we were able to cook a delicious supper for three once the owner had explained how to do it.
