This is a unique property dating from the 14th century at the top of the old town . Staying here is a treat of medieval architecture. The apartments overlook the garden, a haven in the bustle of the city. The location is perfect, the host Enrica is welcoming and very helpful and we will return next time we travel to Bergamo.

It's been some time since the apartments were renovated and it's a bit dated. More 20th Century than 21st in terms of fixtures and fittings. Don't let that put you off though, this is a great place to stay, comfortable and convenient in a historic building in the Citta Alta.

We had a perfect stay at Entro Le Mura. It is located in the old city and is close to all nice restaurants and landmarks. The staff and the host were friendly and welcoming. The communication was easy and our host helped us with advises for restaurants and transport to other cities. The room was clean and spacious. We stayed only 2 nights and the hygiene was maintained the whole time by the personnel. We had an amazing view from our window. The garden was incredibly beautiful and we had a tasty breakfast offered by the host there. We highly recommend this place and definitely would visit again!

Very clean accommodation with good sized bedroom and bathroom. Large comfortable bed. Friendly helpful host who gave lots of useful information, fabulous private garden, large common room where we could relax and leave luggage before or after check in/ out which is big tick. A lovely historical building in a good central location in the high old town. Top tip- there is a bus direct to Bergamo Orio Al Serio airport from the top of the town at Colle Aperto but if you have lots of big luggage consider a taxi as there’s no luggage storage on the bus and it gets massively crowded, they only stop pushing on when the doors can’t close.

There is a surprisingly busy cobbled road on one side of the accommodation and the traffic noise is loud as it bounces off the cobbles, houses and walls, however the window had shutters and 2 sets of glazing so it much quieter with them closed but this made the room darker. We would choose a room facing the garden next time.

The location was as perfect as it could get, right in the centre of the beautiful old town without having any noisy streets outside! I walked around a lot in the area both in the daytime and at night and I always felt safe, even as a female solo traveler. The bed and the big hotel pillows were super comfortable. The weather didn’t allow for me to use the garden, but it still added a lot to the atmosphere so it was lovely either way. The host (Enrica) was super helpful and nice and gave so much good information leading up to my stay, I felt very safe having her as my host and I would definitely come back here and I recommend it to everyone.

The only detail was the bathroom towel rack, it was unfortunately very dirty and it didn’t feel so nice to hang a white towel on it, but that’s the only thing.

This place is really lovely. Erica is an attentive and professional host. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which was clean, warm, comfortable and opened out to the most beautiful garden. We had a delicious, fresh breakfast each day. On good days it is served in the garden and in not so good it is served in a room Both areas have a lovely atmosphere. The WiFi was not good in the apartment, but was perfect in the garden. We had lovely weather during the day in Bergamo and treated to two great thunderstorms at night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. It is very very close to the main street of Citta Alta.

The B&B is located in the heart of Bergamo Old Town, just a few minutes away from the main tourist attractions - but in a quiet alley. The room was stylish and very comfortable, with a beautiful garden view. We loved the garden - with a view of the mountains - a perfect place to relax. The breakfast (served in the garden) was wonderful - everything fresh and tasty, a lot of variety. Enrica, the host, is very welcoming and helpful. It is super easy to get in touch with her (via WhattsApp) in case of questions and special requests. Ours were taken care of perfectly. For us, an ideal stay, thank you!

Everything was perfect! For me, the best place to stay in Bergamo and I look forward to my next visit :).

B&B in a beautiful location, so close to everything to see in the Citta Alta but also not in the crowded part. The garden is absolutely the best bit, we loved the breakfast in the garden and just enjoying the view throughout the day. The owner was lovely, polite and attentive and our room was made up and cleaned every day.

The only negative was that since we had a road facing room, the cars passing by sometimes at night were quite loud with an open window. We closed the windows but then it got a bit hot as it was summer (but the ceiling fan is great!)

The B & B was in a fabulous location and the parking was nearby. The B & B is located in an old building very close to the core of Bergamo. There was room to pull in your car and unload the bags before parking the car. The person who was cleaning the B & B was super helpful. The room had everything that you needed and included a very comfortable bed, TV and private shower. The breakfast was really good and served by the owner of the B & B. There was no lift in the B & B, but it was so nice to stay in a building that had a long history. Another plus for us was the number of restaurants that were within walking distance of the B & B.

We really can't think of anything. One suggestion would be a card with instructions on how to operate the TV and to have a few English channels available.

We stayed at the apartment on the ground floor so from our terrace there was direct access to the garden with a beautiful view. It was perfect for the kids and also comfortable for the adults. One of the rooms was facing the street, you could hear the cars, but nothing very noisy, even if you stay with a kid. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment, but we did not cook, only prepared som sandwiches and fruits. The location was awesome, close to the store and public transportation. Of course it’s uphill as everything in the old city so this is something you can not avoid, but you have to bear in mind. Cleaning was done even on Sunday what we did not expect. Enrica was super nice, communication with her was fast and easy. We are planning to return and I’m definitely not looking for anything else, we have found the right place. Definitely recommend:)

Unfortunately we couldn’t have breakfast on Sunday. It must be beautiful to eat in the garden in the morning (and convenient). But it’s definitely not a problem, just a pity. And it’s a well deserved day off for everyone, so no complaints at all.

Room was large and well soundproofed, garden views from windows very pleasant. Bed very comfortable. We appreciated the fact that a young relative of the owners was there to let us into the property on our arrival at 2am! And Bergamo Alta is a beautiful, active and elegant town designed for humans not cars, with excellent and well-priced restaurants and friendly residents.

Advert did not say that property is on a steep hill, which one needs to climb to get to the centre of town. This was difficult for us, since we are not young. It was also unfortunate that the property owners were away during our visit, therefore we only met staff briefly on our arrival and just before our departure.
