Perfect location, easily reachable from the airport with Bus Number 1, 10 min walking distance from la Città Alta. The personell were super kind and helpful, they made us feel like we are in home. They have recommended us a restaurant at the Città Alta called L'Alimentari at the heart of the square Piazza Vecchia and it was just amazing. I would definitely be coming back again there on our next visit. The breakfast is self-catering but there's everything you may need. It was clean and both the owners are amazing. Grazie❤🇮🇹

We really enjoyed our stay in B&B Santa Lucia. The room was nice, super clean, bright, spacious and the balcony was a bonus. Shower was also nice and clean. The common (for 4 rooms) full equiped kitchen where we could prepare and enjoy free breakfast (even have it in the veranda or our balcony etc.) was really nice. It added to the atmosphere preparing your breakfast and exchanging 'buongiornos' with the other occupants! But the most important and pleasant feature of B&B Santa Lucia was warm atmosphere due the Hostess, Federica. She was really welcoming, polite and helpful and she made sure that we had a pleasant stay in Bergamo. Thank you, you made all the difference! Location is nice, walking distance to the train station, shops and the old cit (but I recommend to use the bus)

Nothing. Just note that the rooms were on the 2nd floor without a lift, but it was not a problem for us.

Amazing place to stay, we were welcomed straight away by the owner and we paid extra to park behind the gates as we are precious about our car. The rooms were very secure and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had big fluffy towels. The rooms, staircases and communal areas were all very clean and homely. We could help ourselves to breakfast and sit outside on the terrace. It was about 20 mins to walk into the old town which was a great view over the city and had lots of choice for places to eat. Could definitely have stayed longer.

Nice, room with a new modern bathroom. Great combination of charm of old building and modern convenience. Great location, 20 min. walk to the upper historic old town, actual city center just around the corner. Possibility to park the car next to apartments. Nice and helpful host.

If you come for the breakfast just a little bit later, it can appear that there is not so much left to eat and you have to wash the plates and mugs yourself. Maybe it was just a coincidence.

Wonderful balcony, kitchen very cosy and although we had a very early flight we were told that we can take whatever we like from the fridge for the breakfast.

It was very insecure if we will get a taxi at 4.00 am to get to the airport. The host could not connect to the taxi company and we could not get through either. Finally at 22 we got through and got a taxi which came as promised. Still I would not recommend the place for ungodly flight hours as the taxi seems to be rare in Bergamo.

The location was very good. Staying in the alta city, with in the medieval walls, would have been better, when we looked it was beyond our budget. Santa Lucia is located only a short walk from the old city, so that location is decent. The room and bathroom were great for the three of us and everything was very clean. The self-service kitchen for breakfast, which was supplied, was a very nice, pleasant space and opened to a balcony. Federica was an excellent host, super friendly and informative. She helped us park in a secure spot at the property and we were able to check in early.

My only misgiving, and it is a small one, was that even though credit cards are supposed to be accepted, she told me that her machine was broken (maybe it was?) and I would need to pay in cash. I'm not sure this was on the level. In Italy I have heard it is very common for businesses/services to hugely prefer cash, I don't know why, perhaps for tax purposes. Since we were only staying one night, this was not a big deal.

Santa Lucia offers all a traveller needs on his first visit in a town. The location is great, in the heart of the Lower Town, only a 15 minutes walk away from the beautiful upper part of the city, the Old town. It is a fantastic base to explore the town and the region.It is nicely decorated and spotless.The breakfast is generous and included, it can be taken on a cosy terrasse or on the rooms own balcony. The owners of Santa Lucia B & B, Federica and Massimo, are very warm and friendly, provide a lot of useful knowledge about the area (restaurant and visit recommendations..) and make you feel more than welcome. We will definitely come back and recommend Sant Lucia heartily.

The hosts were lovely (we mostly had contact with Federica) and offered us a warm welcome. The villa is beautiful and nicely decorated, and our room was comfortable and clean. We were impressed with the modern and spacious bathroom. Fantastic breakfast, exceeded our expectations!

I am quite a light sleeper and the noise from the street outside made it very difficult for me to sleep (in spite of the ear plugs).

Room was a really good size great bathroom small balcony everything you needed. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen where you had breakfast was clean and well equipped. Everything you need was available and the host was amazingly helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Great value snd great location would definitely go back if in Bergamo.

We liked everything so have no issues to raise at all.

Federica was an excellent host. Bedroom was large with balcony, fan and spacious en suite. Federica took time to recommend places to visit and eat. Hotel was in a good position between the station and the old town. Bergamo is a charming city well worth a short break. If we come back to Bergamo we will definitely stay at B&B Santa Lucia again. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others
