The location is AMAZING. It can be a bit of a hike to get to, but it is well worth the trek. The hotel is right next to the lighthouse lookout and there is a walking trail that leads further up the mountain for more breathtaking views. There is even a playground nearby, which was very helpful for my 6 year old. The restaurant has great food.

We did have some issues with water escaping the shower onto the floor, and the hot water and pressure would give out randomly. We could have just been using water at a high-usage time. My only other criticism is that the breakfast menu was fairly limited to eggs and yogurt; however, everything was delicious.

The breakfast was very nice and with plenty of choices both from a food and drinks perspective.

Not negative, but keep in mind that going up the mountain to the hotel can be challanging.

The views were fantastic, the staff were excellent and the location was magnificent! We had dinner at night in the hotel and it was brilliant 10/10

The place is quite funny to find, you will have to demonstrate your driving capability before discovering this beautiful place. Indeed, the place is on the high of Como and gives you a fantastic and unique view of the lack and the city. The restaurant (that I advise you to book) is very good, we had 2 diners there and no disappointment. I saw many people trying to have a table at the restaurant that was full which is not a surprise for the quality they provide and the view from the restaurant’s terrasse that is stunning. It was 35 degrees when we were there and the swimming pool was a master class. Of course, it is not the most luxurious pool I have seen but it makes the job perfectly. Rooms are well equipped, and very nice designed.

all was perfect

The location was high up in the mountains with great views making breakfast and dinner amazing and waking up in the morning that extra bit special. The property itself was very homely and the rooms were really cosy, with balcony’s for the rooms and outside dining an option also to enjoy the wonderful views. It was very clean and tidy inside and out which made the stay a lot more enjoyable.

Their wasn’t anything to not like about the property, if i was to be picky then i would say the railings would need to be re-painted but like i say that would be a really picky answer as the rest of the hotel was brilliant.

Nice room with everything we needed. We had two nice dinners at the cozy restaurant. Nice food och wine! Friendly staff!

We had fantastic weather during our stay but unfortunatly the afternoon sun did not reach the outdoor area. (Can recommend the bar down by the funicular (15-20 min walk) with both amazing view and sun terrace.) The smell of lemon cleaner in the room was incredibly strong. The pool area was closed, but/and could definitly use an upgrade! (The picture is deceptive.)

This is a hotel with views to die for over Lake Como. In order to get those views, we initially drove up, through narrow roads with many hairpin bends. Once there, we left the car and walked down to the funicular ( 15 mins steep walk) the funicular takes about 7-10 minutes and costs 3.20 euros each .It arrives right in Como which is great to explore, or take a lake ferry. To get back up to the hotel, take the fenicular again and then call the hotel for a lift up by car. They come very quickly. They also do lifts down to the funicular. The staff are great and the food in the restaurant was simple but tasty. Due to being so high up, it was much cooler and less humid than down in the town, very welcome after a hot day.

The hotel itself was rather tired, though our room was lovely, the pool small and not always enough sun loungers.

Staff at the reception was kind and helpful. Gave us a local permit to park our car outside. Room was big, comfortable and clean. Breakfast at Mama Gina’s was a real treat. With excellent bread selection vegetables eggs and very good yogurt. Diner at Mama Gina is a must! Enjoy local Italian cuisine at the hotel with the great view of Como lake.

Bathroom a little small but clean and comfortable. Pillows were too stiff.

The view is exceptional! The standard room was way more comfortable than expected. I liked the interior design. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was very friendly.

I didn't like that the pool is next to the outside area of the restaurant - no privacy was given. It could be much more beautiful when the furniture etc would be newer and maybe higher plants next to the pool... Also, I've missed a water kettle in the room. The way to the hotel is also not for everybody:D
