5 stars+ all around for B&B Villa Constanza. The owner Donatella and her daughter Francesca went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and our stay the most pleasant and memorable. Rain caused a temporary washout of the road to their B&B before we arrived so they kept in touch with us and arranged alternate transportation to get us there. After a long and tiring day of travel, Donatella made a us a great pasta dinner (best pesto ever)! Breakfast on the patio every morning was a great start to the day. Throughout our stay, Francesco gave us great advice on places to see and restaurants to eat. They helped us understand the ferries and buses, and even made dinner reservations for us. After busy days of site seeing through all the crowds, the villa is a quiet and relaxing retreat to decompress. It is beautiful and views are amazing. They really go the extra mile. If you are planning a stay in Lake Como, do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not regret it!

Getting around the lake using the buses and ferries can be challenging. Buses are often late. Views from the ferries are spectacular, but they take a long time and the schedules are confusing. Be prepared to spend several hours on them. Next time, I would probably rent a car.

Donatella is the most perfect host. Her home cooking and the coffee are superb! The extreme effort Donatella puts in to making her guests comfortable exceeds excellent! She went beyond her call of duties and provided optimal care of our needs all stay. Donatellas knowledge of the area, tours, restaurants and ensuring we captured all this wonderful culture made our stay one of our best ever! The facilities, amenities and guest products have to be rated to the highest of standards. The Villa is stunning and aesthetically grand! The spectacular and spell binding view is breath taking! The location is perfectly situated between easily accessed and sensational towns to visit via bus or ferry. Complete contentment our whole stay! We felt very sad leaving!!!

I could go on for days on just how wonderful our stay was at Villa Costanza and how unbelievably hospitable, accommodating, gracious, and above and beyond our hosts Donatella and Maurizio were during our stay. They made us feel like family and spent time providing for our every need down to making us dinner and even driving us from our trip to Bellagio and to dinner one night. Just out of this world hosts. Seriously one of best parts of our European trip to multiple destinations was staying in their beautiful home overlooking the amazing views of Lake como!

Not a lot of places to walk to given the busy road but Donatella made arrangements for us for a driver when we wanted to venture out and made all of the dinner reservations so it wasn't a huge deal.

I can not say enough about Donatella and Villa Costanza. The grounds and rooms are absolutely stunning with plenty of room to really relax and enjoy the view of the lake. I slept so well here and loved waking up to the open window view of the lake. Donatella went above and beyond to help us find locations, prepare breakfast, and answer any questions we had. The location I felt was perfect because it was a short ride to Como central and also a bus stop right out front to jump on for Bellagio or around the lake. There is no doubt we will be back ❤️.

Donatella and Francesca are excellent hosts. They did everything to make our stay unforgettable. From recommendations for restaurants we wouldn't have discovered and reservations in activities, to help us when we had a puncture. The homemade breakfast was delicious. The villa has a fantastic terrace overlooking the lake which makes you feel like you are in a special place. It is!

Donatella and her service are super! super location and view! super-personal approach! We really enjoyed our stay!

The property is a little worn down in some places. lake como prices in general.

This amazing spot in Blevio (North of Como, South of Bellagio) was absolutely perfect. The B&B was very responsive when I had question. Donatella, the owner was an outstanding resource for all things Como/Blevio/Bellagio. She gave us recommendations for sites, food and also gave us wine on the patio! We checked in and were greeted kindly. We said our hellos and they showed us to our room! This room had the most stunning (west-facing) view of Lago di Como 😍. While I forgot to take pictures of the room, there was a large bed, 2 suitcase holders, a huge closet and a mini fridge. There is a small hallway with a nice table, a few chocolates and a bottle of wine waiting (along with glasses and a bottle opener). The bathroom was HUGE. There was a large sink and vanity, a toilet, a bidet and a jacuzzi tub that I actually fit in (I'm 6'3, 240#). The first morning Donatella had baked some delicious sweets. She also offers coffee, egg, and assorted meats and cheese (including my favorite... Tallegio). Fresh fruit, yogurt, Fresh orange juice. Breakfast was an amazing way to start the day. Served from 8am-10am. The roads in Lake Como can be very narrow, so be sure to request a parking space (the roadside parking is on a blind corner and a bit scary for drivers not used to it). The parking on the top side (the street to just past the B&B on the right takes you up and all the way to the back for easier parking). I could not recommend this place enough! I felt at home. Donatella was a ray of sunshine every morning! While we were only there for 3 nights, they were very memorable! If you want to explore Lake Como (Como, Blevio, Bellagio, Verona, etc) this is a great place to stay. With only 4 rooms, you could rent this out for a group (couples, a large family, etc) and have access to in house chef services and amazing views. I will certainly be back if I am ever in the area! I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy!

The view of the lake from the room and terrace was superb. It is a beautiful place. Breakfast was excellent. And of course our hostess was very welcoming, always willing to help, even with the heavy luggage.

Nothing about the villa. Lake Como is rather difficult to get around. It is very steep from the boat landings up to the road. Even in early summer the boats and busses were full. But that is the way of life in Como.

A picturesque villa which gave us an authentic experience of real Italy. A beautiful property with beautiful views from every window. We didn’t even need to hire a car: a short trek downhill was Blevio pier, which offered an easy boat service to anywhere around Como; alternatively buses travelling in opposite directions stopped literally right out outside of the villa, and are very cheap. The host Donatella, is a lovely person who would do anything for you. You won’t regret staying here for a moment.

Stunning luxury villa which has been beautifully designed and updated. We stayed for our honeymoon and Donatella was able to upgrade us to a room with a terrace where we enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets. Donatella was an incredibly generous host, offering us rides when we couldn’t locate taxis, and made all dinner reservations for us.

While we were blown away by the villa design, be conscious of your transportation. It was challenging to find taxis in the off season (March) and we wished we’d had our own rental car for this location.
