We loved the isolated rustic charm of Villa Armena. The breakfast was good and plentiful and dinner was cooked to order and very tasty.

There are just a few things that could elevate this Relais in to something more luxurious. A larger wardrobe with matching hangers. Updated bedding and access to tea/coffee making and snacks. (It’s quite way from the nearest shop and not always convenient to ask the owner to make you one)

The restaurant where we had dinner was incredible. I had the best Cacio e Pepe of my life. I would travel here again just to eat the pasta. The woman at reception was very friendly and funny. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was incredible. I wish I could have the bathtub that we had here at home! There was also a very cute little cat who wandered around. Everything was lovely here and we would stay again.

The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and nicely furnished. The food was tasty but lacking options.

Not everything was functioning properly. The "restaurant" was serving nice food, but in a pretty limited timeframe. Breakfast was missing eggs (optionally available as extra breakfast for an additional cost), fresh vegetables. The bathroom could be a bit cleaner, the towels changed at least every 2-3 days.

If you want to enjoy rural Tuscany, this is the perfect place! A manor built in 1450, recently purchased and renovated while preserving the authenticity of the original construction, blended with modern style, is the ideal place for a pleasant stay in the area. The owner of the manor, present on-site, is a very kind but discreet lady. I would gladly return anytime!

Villa Armena is a boutique accomodation with great views, conform rooms and helpful staff. From the villa, I could see the cypress line along the garden, and the sunset view from villa is so amazing. The garden is also nice, with the pool.

My family need extra bed for my daughter but the fee is a little bit high (~50 EUR).

the best breakfast we had on our entire 18 day trip in Italy. The host Laura was a gem. We enjoyed chatting with her about her property. Not a issue at all but the road to the hotel is a dirt road. well maintained but just an fyi.

Big spacious room, great breakfast, quiet location

No tea facilities in the room, had to keep asking the lady at the reception for hot water to make artificial milk for my baby The lady at the reception seemed constantly busy and looked overwhelmed every time we asked her questions

The location, view, tranquility and atmosphere were great (truly Tuscan. The owner/hostess was very hospitable and very friendly The Dinner and breakfast were of high quality considering the price

The hotel seems to be lagging behind with regular technical maintenance of the room and bathroom

A lovely relaxing place to stay. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner and our room was just lovely -so big! The pool is very relaxing and the town of Buonconvento is not far away.

You will need a car to visit, it is down a little dirt road but that is what makes it a country retreat.

I loved the entire property but the rooms were very special (especially the bathroom!) The breakfast spread was great and dinner was delicious all 3 nights. Laura was so kind and willing to help.

The only "con" was the poor wifi connection. And the mosquitos but no one can control that!
