The view from our room was incredible, the staff were wonderful and always helpful. The food quality at the restaurant was excellent and had a number of great options within walking distance too. The beach was perfect and had some great spots for snorkeling, kayaking and rock jumping. The pool was always sparsely populated as most were at the beach, so the kids were able to play in a giant pool mostly to themselves. A shout out to Nino at the restaurant and Elisa at the beach who made us very welcome.

The only negative was the steepness of the climb to get up to reception or to the pool. It's probably a good thing to burn off all the extra food we were eating, but I can imagine if you're not very mobile this would be a challenge. It also allows all the bungalows to have fantastic views as they each have their own cliff side spot.

The resort was gorgeous. It is cliff side and the views are amazing. The little bungalows that you can stay in are very private and cosy. The staff was lovely and even though we were the only Americans there, most of the staff spoke english with us. It seemed like the staff also spoke french as there were a lot french guests. Everyone seemed to be friends at the resort, it seems like they have a lot of return guests. The sunsets were gorgeous. Definitely get to dinner early so you can enjoy the sunset while you eat.

There are a lot of stairs. Be prepared to go up and down stairs to get to everything. They do have golf carts to take people around too but they can't get to everything. The main town area is farther away than we realized, you will want to take a taxi or drive and park at a lot. It was too hot to try to walk 45 minutes or more into town.

First and foremost, you absolutely cannot beat the view! Each of the bungalows are situated so everyone staying at the resort can enjoy the smells and sounds of the sea. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is much better than others might suggest (either that or we were simply impressed with everything because we’re American and not used to the deliciousness of Siciliano dolci! We traveled in April which is just before the busy season, so the weather was a bit too chilly for the beach, but sun lovers will appreciate the solarium and chaise lounges next to the small strip of sandy beach. Will not hesitate to visit again.

Nothing can be better. Travelers should be advised that it is necessary to traverse some steep hills and stone staircases to access the bungalows as well as the sea site porticos for sunbathing. Disabled travelers may have a difficult time managing this. We did not utilize the pool due to the cool weather in the off season, but it is also a bit of a walk from the main property. Visiting the historical center of Cefalù is a short drive, and paid parking is accessible and available if you book in advance. There is a seaway passage into the city center that will require a strenuous 20-25 minute walk. The shower is indeed small but not uncomfortably so. Bring conditioner if you use it, as none is provided

The tennis court is not owned by the hotel. The hotel arranges the court at a rate of eur 15 an hour and they provide tennis balls and rackets. Unfortunately the rackets and balls are badly worn, not worthy of this location. Another point of improvement is that there is no pizza available for diner (lunch it is) or a children portion of the items on the menu. This makes dining with children a little bit more complicated and a waste of food, ordering a grown up dish. Assuming the hotel is recovering from corona times, a good next investment could be a electric scooter instead of a petrol one ...

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Calinica Seaside Resort, and it exceeded all our expectations. Nestled along the stunning Sicilian coastline, this resort is a true gem that offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Sicilian charm.

Such an exquisite location in a beautiful bay and so close to the sea. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfasts

The very narrow approach road to the resort is not lit and at night this was difficult and could be dangerous (walking or driving) The bar on the beach never seemed to be open.

Everything! Situated on the hill, meters from the sea/beach, beautiful view. Good breakfast. Excellent team

Maybe not proper for people with difficulty climbing/walking up the hill ( from the rooms to the entrance/parking).

The beach is beautiful. It’s nice to be slightly out of Cefalu, luckily we had a car so we could drive in and out. The breakfast is great. The huts are really nice and the bed is comfortable. We had a sea view room which is magical!

The lunch menu wasn’t very varied, the pool area is a little run down, getting into the sea can be a little difficult due to the rocks, I wonder if a path could be cleared to make it easier to get in and out.

The staff is amazing! Everyone was cheerful & showed they care about their guests, from check-in, to housekeeping to restaurant staff to check out. The wait staff was very personable & pretty funny as well. You could tell they really enjoy each other & what they do.

No coffee in bungalow. No drink service at the beach.

The hotel is outstanding and the location is amazing, the bungalows are gorgeous, very clean, modern, well prepared with an amazing view! It is way better than on the pictures!!! You wake up by listening to the waves of the sea!! It is fantastic and relaxing! Domenico and Giancarlo at the reception were super kind and welcoming! thank you!! and the other colleagues were very kind, funny and helpful also. The breakfast is great, several choices, the beach is excetional! we will return here at some point for sure! Great experience in Sicily!
