I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Tourist in Cefalu, Sicily, and I can confidently say it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. The location of this charming hotel is undoubtedly one of its strongest assets. Situated just a stone's throw away from the beach, Hotel Tourist offers a breathtaking coastal backdrop that is nothing short of spectacular. The convenience of being so close to the beach allowed for leisurely walks along the shoreline and easy access to the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. It's the perfect setting for a relaxing seaside vacation. Cefalu itself is a gem of a town in Sicily. Its quaint streets are lined with picturesque buildings, bustling cafes, and charming boutiques. The town exudes an irresistible charm that is both inviting and heartwarming. Exploring Cefalu was a true delight, and the hotel's central location made it easy to immerse oneself in the local culture and vibrant atmosphere. The hotel's pool was another highlight of my stay. It provided a refreshing respite from the warm Sicilian sun, and the surrounding garden area was beautifully landscaped, creating a serene oasis where I could unwind and soak in the peaceful ambiance. Whether you're looking to take a dip or simply relax by the pool with a good book, Hotel Tourist offers the perfect setting. What truly set Hotel Tourist apart, however, was the impeccable service and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist with any request. Their knowledge of the local area, including restaurant recommendations and excursion options, greatly enhanced my stay and allowed me to make the most of my time in Cefalu. In summary, my stay at Hotel Tourist in Cefalu, Sicily, was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable vacation.

Everything was wonderul.

I liked the sea view! This hotel has the best sea view in entire Cefalú. The staff at the breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The staff at the reception are also nice but the man in the morning shift could use more guest friendliness tips. The breakfast compared to italian breakfast was really good. The beach is rocky but this I knew from the beginning, so one can walk 10-15 minutes to the next sandy beach. I had the iron I needed and hot water whenever I wanted from the bar downstairs.

nothing actually..maybe the housekeeping could respect the "don't disturb" sign cause they always came in the room and sometimes woke me up from my nap to ask if I want the room cleaned. This needs improvement!

Located in a great spot, close to everything and also a little distance to get away down the beach street, where it’s busiest. Great breakfast and the staff was nice and willing to assist. It is a great value and price point. While parking can be an issue in this location, parking in the hotel lot for 10 euros per day was easy and affordable, and we just walked everywhere from the hotel. I recommend it!

The pool was deep, 5feet on each side, and maybe 10 feet in the middle. It’s a nice pool, it just hard swimming with three kids in a deep pool, even when they can swim. Just something to be aware for families looking to use a pool and have little children. It was a good pool overall!

Staff are very kind, especially Julia. She was very kind with our requests. With a pleasant face, a polite and kind approach. Location was great that it is next to the center, therefore it is not loud at night. The room is minimal and had the basic needs we wanted. We enjoyed the pool a lot, clean bathrooms and space around the pool with sun beds and sun umbrellas. Nice private beach for hotel guests.

Dusty room floor. Breakfast had few options, very basic. Reception took our car plate number for parking but did not mention we had to pay 10 euros a day. Fridge didn't work properly on our first day, we asked the staff and they sent someone to check it, and by our 3rd day (check out) it was finally cold.

The hotel is in the quiet side of Cefalù but still close to the town. Perfect location and in front of the sea. It’s possible to rent the beach towels for €3. The breakfast was really good and is both continental and English and they have alternative drinks to the milk. I stayed in the room with the balcony and partial sea view and it was really lovely.

Fantastic staff, always ready to help out. We were always greeted politely and when we went down to breakfast, Ms Maria greeted us and was very helpful regard gluten-free options for myself. Defiantly a nice place:)

The room was a bit dirty when we arrived. But when the cleaning lady came, the next day, almost everything were clean again.

They gave us breakfast every morning as part of the package & it was wonderful. The staff there is very sweet & helpful. The pool is clean & there are enough chairs. The beach is beautiful & well kept. They are right on the Main Street of the town but not quite a mile walk from all of the other hotels, shops, & restaurants which was nice because it was quieter to sleep but still close enough to walk into town to see & do everything if you wanted. They had a restaurant right on the property also that had good food & was reasonably priced m, as well a little lounge/bar where you could get drinks(both alcohol & non alcohol), water bottles for your room, & sandwiches throughout the day. The view of the Mediterranean from the hotel was beautiful as well. I would stay here again.

The only problems we had was that the safe in our room broke but they addressed it immediately. And the front desk staff mistook me for another guest & seemed concerned I was trying to leave the property without settling my bill. However after he asked my name he realized his mistake & apologized.

Ideal sea front location approx. 2.5k from centre.Good facilities for breakfast and dinner.Staff very helpful.,Nice pool.

You need to be aware that no public transport along sea front so an element of walking essential to get to Cefalu centre.

The pool was lovely and the beach so close and private. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our first room was like a dormatory. We moved to a pool view and the room was much nicer. We did book at the last minute and so we got what we got. The staff was very helpful to move us to the better room as soon as it was available.

Perfect location which is a nice 10 minute walk into the town, if you have the beach front room it has a great view, however the pool views still has some view of the ocean. The pool was great for swimming and did some good laps in it to keep the exercise up on holiday. Beautiful little private beach which isn't so busy as the main beach near the town. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Cleaners clean the room daily so if you don't need it cleaned let them know. Would definitely stay in this hotel again as Cefalu is just an amazing, beautiful seaside town and perfect for vacation.

The breakfast was average, if they had more variety absolutely no complaints.
