Hotel Moniga

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic, just 5 - 10 mins walk from the lakefront, restaurants, shops etc depending on your speed. Also very handy to the swimming areas and ferries. As a solo female traveller I felt safe in the hotel and in the entire area. My room was fairly basic but extremely clean and comfortable enough. The included breakfast was a choice of pastries and drinks and the staff were generous with those. Overall, great value for money and in a very good location.

This wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the room as the downstairs cafe wasn't open in the evenings and it was summer time so being able to keep a cold drink in the room would've been good.

I spent wonderful days in this hotel. The hotel owner was really amazing - extremely kind and helpful. She recommended me couple of proven restaurants with the best food and tried her best to help me finding my lost wallet. The hospitality and kindness really made my holiday unforgettable. I felt like visiting friends, not as an anonymous guest at anonymous hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, directly in the center, despite it in a calm street. The bed was very comfortable and pillows hard/soft enough. Parking was easy at a big parking house few steps from the hotel. I am sure this was not my last stay in Desenzano.

Location. Very friendly and helpful. Clean and well-appointed room. Two very minor gripes - shelf needed in the shower and a more powerful hairdryer that blows hotter air. However, of all my travels in Europe, one of only a few bedrooms that had a separate mirror in the room, which meant not having to wait for the bathroom to be free before drying hair or putting on make up. Would thoroughly recommend this delightful hotel. Thanks for a lovely couple of days.

All the staff was extremely nice and polite and gave us tips about how to reach different areas of Lake Garda. The breakfast was also really nice and was included in our price. The central location is ideal for exploring Desenzano.

The walls in the room were we were staying were really thin so you could hear all the conversation of the room next to you. If you are not a heavy sleeper, you might have hard time sleeping if they are talking in the next room. Luckily the second night we had a really quiet neighbour.

The room was large and specious. The hotel was very close to the dock wich allowed for easy ferry riding and very close to all the restaurants and market

The air conditioning wasn't as good as it could be, which was alright in my case but would be bad in hotter monthes

Firstly, the family that run the hotel are so fantastic and friendly. They go above and beyond to help, and were so kind to us during our stay. The hotel was central, in the middle of the town and easy to walk to the beach, the shops, the restaurants, ferry. Room was modern and clean. Excellent value for money.

The hostes was very friendly and very accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable and there is a lift which helps if you have heavy bags. They have a bar downstairs with fabulous coffee and the location is basically around the corner of the all the shops and restaurants.

The room is clean and spacious. Excellent location 15 min walk from the train station and ten steps to shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Friendly staff and good for money. Highly recommended.

The location of the wardrobe cabinet is a little bit far from the door.

The hotel is in the heart of Garda and located perfectly for exploring the city. The rooms are quiet, have air-conditioning, private bathroom, comfy big bed, furnished with taste. The host is vey welcoming. Will definitely save this place for another visit to Garda Desenzano🤍

Easy check in and out, friendly and welcoming staff, quiet clean and comfortable, elevator to upper floors, nice pastry/coffee breakfast. Close to lake and ferry to other parts of the lake, and plenty of places to eat.
