It was the best choice of our trip. Desenzano is in the same train line Milano-Venice so we chose that beautiful hotel because of its closeness to the train station and the shore of the lake, it was so easy to get in to a boat to know other towns of the lake and also to pick a train to travel to other cities within the same day. Also the hotel is truly beautiful and comfortable, service is excelente and for us was very valuable being able to have breakfast there to start out day. The hotel is located in the historical center, so is walking distance to shops, restaurants and piers.

Beautiful suite that was not only spacious and well-appointed, but also carefully decorated with a very unique and beautiful antique style. We were amazed by the attention to detail in the design of the suite, with vintage furnishings and charming decor that perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic. The delicious breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The spread was impressive, with a wide range of options to choose from, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and more. The quality of the food was exceptional. The hotel's location in the center of Desenzano was ideal, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the surrounding area. But what really made our stay truly special was the courteous and friendly service provided by the hosts Christina and Triis. They went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed and were always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations. Moreover, the hotel is very dog friendly.

Everything! Amazing decoration, antique style, full of details. The owner - Cristina - is at the reception to welcome you and make sure everything is at your taste. Cristina is the responsible for decoration and you can feel how much love she put into this project. Our room is like a doll’s house! We split so well… the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the mattress… everything co-exists to make you feel special. Breakfast is homemade and in a quiet, serene atmosphere. Whatever you decide to eat, will be a good choice! By far, the best experience with a hotel.

Dont know where to start - this place and people there are AMAZING! Absolutely loved every second of staying there. This place never felt like hotel, but as you were at very rich friends house. All details and all the small things… oh boy! Our two dogs stayed with us and they had little beds and golden bowls!! The kindness of the staff is absolutely amazing. Never had any such experience in my life. Just dont have enough words to describe, how good this stay was. Reccomend 10/10!

It’s a stunningly beautiful restoration of a very old property. The interior decor is like a palace. An aesthetic jewel in the heart of Desenzano. Triin and Christina were incredibly attentive hosts.

The only negative for us was that there is no lift -which I hadn’t realised at the time of booking - and the room for my 88 year old mother and 80 year old mother in law was on the top floor.

Just absolutely Fantastic!!! Property was Wonderfull, Amazing, Gorgeous…I could go on…and Staff…Wow…Cindy made us superb cocktails, Treen was so welcoming and helpful, Owner present, friendly and engaging!!! If you are going to Desenzano you have to try to book…You will not be Disappointed…

Antica Dimora is an exceptionally beautiful place to stay- in the very heart of Desenzano, you will rest your head in a sophisticatedly renovated old house. The love for antiques and detail in interior design of the owner is unparalleled. You will feel wholeheartedly welcomed the minute your enter.

Amazing character throughout the property, and the room was stunning! The breakfast was to die for. The croissant with cream was my favourite part.

The only recommendation for improvement I could suggest would be to have some extras available in the room like a hairdryer or iron.

The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable ans taken care of. The apartment was in a perfect location to access all the sights easily and still be nice and quiet to sleep at night. I appreciated the gluten free pancakes for breakfast - what a treat!

Amazing design in a superb location with fabulous service and staff. Do not miss out on the opportunity to have this experience. it really is world class.
