Great host, very old building with its own history, location on a foot distance to main attractions, restaurants, supermarket on the corner, shared kitchen with everything you may need. Good lighting with various options to change atmosphere. Super comfortable mattress and pillows. Toiletries are of a very good quality. Local restaurants recommended by Riccardo deserve visiting! The map and guidance of the host helped us to see even more than we initially planned :) I felt like service of hotel and hospitality of a family here. We would definitely come back again!

Heating in the room works on its own schedule and at max 20-21 Celsius that was not very comfortable for us.

The attention and service of Ricardo was great, he was very nice to us. The location of the room is really good, from there you can move around to all the landmark site, even the ones crossing the river (if you like long walks). In overall this place was very nice and would recommend.

It is not that I didn’t like it, I just want to warn other people that the room is in a very old building (which for us was in it self a great experience). However it is in the 3rd floor and the stairs are small, tall and a bit dark. We had (for whatever reason) the biggest amount of bags and it took us a lot of effort (Ricardo helped) to get there. So just to the next guy knows and makes an informed decision. Otherwise, I think the place worths it.

I spent 9 days in Florence for studying and heavy sightseeing. The apartment had everything I needed: enough space for me, comfortable bed, very good lights for reading at desk and in bed, sideboards, enough sockets for electricity and loading of devices, clean and stylish interior design. The apartment has a wooden floor and was very clean. The bathroom with shower, WC and bidet shower was very clean and spacious enough for me. In the entrance hall a small room with coffeemaker, tea kettle, microwave, small refrigerator, as well as a washing machine, drying racket and ironing board is available for all apartments. The location close to Piazza d'Ambrogio is perfect, all major sights in the historical center can be reached by a 15 min walk, a nice spot for coffee and breakfast and a supermarket are close by, as is a stall for the famous lampredotto. A market hall and many restaurants as well as smaller shops are in the area. The owner is very nice and helpful. Next time I want to stay there again.

There can be some noise at night from partying people on the Piazza, but the apartment has very good windows that can keep out almost all noise. The apartment is in the second floor without lift, which may be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Riccardo the owner is very kind guy, he draw us a map with some food and gelato recommendation, pizzera over river he recommended was kinda too premium but other recommendations were great. There was issue with shower in our room so he have contacted us in advance to let us know and we could use his shower in his private living area next to our apartment. Location was really great, there is nice coffee and tasty cornetto right next to in on a small piazza. Another great advice from Riccardo was that on sunday parking is free and allowed in center so we happily moved from expensive underground garage.

It was a brilliant stay. We were impressed from the beginning with beautiful entrance door with forged handle. Ricardo is the best host ever. He met us, helped with luggage, explained everything about staying. There were guidebooks, umbrellas, tea and cookies. I was impressed by thoughtful design, in not so big apartment there were everything. Ricardo also gave us a voucher for breakfast and let us to leave our luggage after check out. Thank you so much!!!

The staff are incredibly kind, accommodating, and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and homely. Anything I needed, they provided (and often, I didn't have to ask! e.g. the correct travel adaptor was left in my room after it was cleaned just because Ricardo noticed I brought/was using the incorrect one) The room was very quiet and the accommodation was located well away from touristy areas, but not too far (easily reached in 20 mins by foot). I loved how close this accommodation was to the local piazza and mercato, which I would visit daily for breakfast. There was a great supermarket located nearby too. I wouldn't hesitate to book again! My stay was amazing!

My partner and I had a great stay at Florence Rooms! The room was cozy and perfect for the two of us. Riccardo was a great host—he made sure we had everything we needed and greeted us upon check-in. Laundry was available for a small fee, which was a lifesaver for us. On our second night, he also provided us with a voucher for breakfast, which was a really nice touch.

The unit was a bit difficult to get into at first, as the instructions provided were minimal.

The location was great, quiet area yet close enough to walk to attractions. Amazing cafe on the corner Cafe Ditta Artiginale. Coffee in the kitchen at Florence rooms very good too. Nice old building with a couple of modern updates like key cards and new windows (which made the room quiet). Riccardo was very nice and available if anything was needed.

Great location; 10 mins walk to Duomo, supermarket and restaurants right outside the apartment, so convenient. Room was very small but comfortable and clean. Washing machine and tea/coffee facilities available. The host Riccardo was lovely, very helpful and has excellent local restaurant recommendations, for some of the best food I’ve ever eaten.

Room and Bathroom could use some design improvements, and the shower is the smallest I’ve ever encountered, which makes showering very difficult for an average-sized person, but we managed. Difficult for towels to dry, but Riccardo was happy to replace these upon request. The building is very old and does not have a lift which was challenging for bringing up luggage. Some minor inconveniences for what was otherwise a great stay.

It was only a short overnight stay at Florence Rooms but it was a great experience nevertheless. Riccardo, the host, is very supportive. I arrived on a bicycle and he offered a safe storage room in the cellar. The difference between good and excellent are the small but impactful gestures. The shops were already closed but somehow I fancied some milk. Riccardo did not hesitate and offered me some of his own. My room had a good size but the bathroom is a bit small. However, I didn’t miss a thing. There is a shared kitchen with free coffee and cookies. I highly recommend this place due it’s great location and the very welcoming host Riccardo. I will certainly stay at Florence Rooms again in case I return to Firenze.

Only thing to be aware of - there are quite a few stairs to climb so that might be difficult for some people.
