This was the only place we stated in all of Italy that there was nothing wrong about anything - everything was perfect! The location is close to everything central. There is parking nearby (make sure to reserve ahead). The breakfast provided at a nearby cafe is fresh and the perfect size to start the day. The staff is attentive and really care about you (they found our passports we accidentally left behind one day and called us immediately). Everything was clean and everything was provided to make the stay convenient, including the kitchen and bathroom supplies. If you choose here, you can feel confident of a very pleasant stay.

Nothing - everything was perfect!

The whole reception process was self service and easy. The room was clean, spacious with a touch of Florence decoration which was really nice. The rom had a working AC which was necessary in the warm weather of July. Great location, 15 mins walk from the train station, if carrying heavy bags, it can be a bit too long.

The elevator was very small, only fits two person or one person and a large bag. The breakfast was a fruit cup, a bowl of yogurt, a jar of orange juice, and a choice of coffee, which was overally just ok.

There were 4 of us in the room. It was a great size and very accommodating. We were there during the heat of the summer and the air conditioning was great. Great location to all local attractions. Breakfast was good, but the staff made us feel like an inconvenience due to our "free" breakfast. Property is a bit far from train station only because it was so crowded on the streets dragging our luggage and the intense heat! But overall, we loved it!

Cozy room centrally located in Firenze. the property is 3 min walk from Santa Maria del Fiore church (Duomo). Nice and quiet street and room. in less than 10 min walk you can easily reach every sightseeing spot in Florence.

Steep stair to reach the property and very small elevator (max 1 person with 1 piece of luggage). Anyway this feature is not property fault and didn't affect the quality of our stay. Highly recommended for the value for money

Very easy check in process feels very safe Bonus that there was an elevator for these types of houses in Florence The room was very clean and tidied up every day Clean and nice bathroom They also provided breakfast at a nearby osteria which was a huge bonus Comfortable bed and nice bed linen Spacious room Location was very central 3 minutes from the dome And max 15 mins walking from all central attractions

Nothing I didn't like

I am so glad I chose Canto Dei Servi for my vacation in Florence. We stayed there from 8 until 12 April and we had an amazing experience. The room was clean, comfortable and the location is Ideal (right by the Santa maria del fiore cathedral). I wanted to give special thanks to Kevin who made our stay even more pleasant and assisted us with any questions we had with professionalism and friendliness! I would definitely visit again! Highly recommend!!!

This isnt exactly a problem, but the only "negative" thing is: The breakfast that was served in a place very close to the apartments had limited options - 1 croissant, yogurt with fruit and coffee/orange juice. For us it was more than enough but there could be more options. However it was a lovely place, great service and had great breakfast options with extra charge so it was perfect for us!

The location was easily the best thing about this place. It took a mere 2 minutes of walking to find a restaurant-- maybe 10 to get to one you could find on yelp with high reviews. The staff gave me great check-in instructions once I got a hold of them through text. The email they initially provided had all of the information I needed to check in such as codes for the doors and the like. The place was extremely close to all of the most popular tourist attractions and it rests in the heart of the city (4 mins of walking). And it was only 2km from the train station we took.

The address provided was not the address. It was actually about 2-3 blocks down. We got lucky and were aided by some locals who only spoke Italian. Once they saw the address they knew where to take us.

Our initial booking at Canto dei Servi had a mix up but the owner offered us a different rental property and it turned out to be a happy accident. The alternate property had the BEST location, close to everything. The host was helpful and communicated well. Also provided some great restaurant suggestions too. Would recommended this host at either property.

Very good location, near the Piazza del Duomo, very clean, comfortable bed, working air conditioning. In the bedroom we stayed there was no city view, the window was towards the window of the kitchen.

The big minus was for the breakfast: you get tickets for each breakfast which you take at a nearby café: a coffee of your choosing, a croissant and yogurt with fresh fruits, and that’s about it. It should be mentioned this in the bio for you to decide if you want to add breakfast or not to your reservation.

The location was great, because you lived in a street where the italian life happens: bars, restaurants, shops. If you go out the street , you see the fantastic dome and you are in 2 minutes there at any day & nighttime. Thus you can admire this fantastic building also without the mass tourisme. The breakfast in a typical italian bar is much nicer than in any hotel / b&b rooms. Very modern, nice , new bathroom.
