Good location just a few minutes walk down to the centre. Average sized room, decent sized bathroom. There's a vending machine with beer in it just up the steps from reception (you'll miss it if you only take the elevator!) We had a minor wifi issue on the first day but on reporting it at reception the next morning one of the staff came directly up and resolved it in just a few minutes.

The bathroom lights were blueish and quite dim so my partner couldn't do her makeup in front of the mirror in there. I think the reason must be that anything brighter would shine directly onto the bed if turned on at night (the switch was outside the room so the door would be open when turned on), but maybe there could be two switches or something?

It was fantastically located - the square it is located in is opposite a gorgeous church with amazing frescos and a museum of archaeology which I recommend, and that's even before you turn around and see how close to Il Duomo you are - so close I visited the dome every day. The breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful - I arrived slightly late my first day due to plane delays and they were unfazed and gave me excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants.

There is only one thing that was less than great - I stayed in a double room which was in fact 2 single beds pushed together. I move around a lot while I sleep so every night I ended up waking in teh early hours having fallen into a gap that had emerged between the beds and having to push them back together. Despite this I probably slept the best here than I have in months and everything else about my stay was amazing

Highly recommended! Hotel is a beautiful old building; it’s location is in a stunning historic piazza just 5 minutes walk from the Duomo and 10-12 minutes from the train station making day trips to Siena, Lucca & Pisa easy. Tram stop to/from airport also 10 minutes away. Both easy to use with ticket machines in multiple languages. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good size and very clean bedroom, similar with bathroom where shower was powerful & hot at any time. Mini fridge very handy. Room cleaned daily. Breakfast pretty good - no hot food but otherwise a decent selection of items to have on toast, pastries, cereals & fruit and of course in Italy a proper coffee machine. I had a great stay for 10 nights and would happily return

only one plug socket in my room & kettle would be nice

The breakfast and the amazing bartender in the morning made every morning with totally wonderful and tasty coffee and decoration on it - it is the masterpiece as well as the city itself! The hotel was nice with perfect location and we would visit it definitely but more for the amazing morning atmosphere!

The beds were really not comfortable, there were 2 beds put to each other but they were really light and were moving so during the night I woke up almost falling down in the whole in between, the furniture is quite old but we spent most of the time outside so it didn't really matter. I would pay though attention to beds!

Location is excellent, the hotel is very close to pretty much all attractions. The staff is truly helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean, and even though breakfast is not excellent, it offers quite a good variey of options.

Like most hotels in Florence, this one is in an old building, which may present structural problems if maintenance is not so constant. We had a sudden massive water leak on the ceiling of our room, and after informing the staff, they immediately moved us to another room (which was actually better than the one we originally booked).

The location was perfect for us. We were maybe 3 min away by foot of the Dome and also max. 5 min away from la Galleria dell' Academia. It was always easy to find our way back. The breakfast was a good start into the day and the Gentleman making the coffees was always very nice and friendly, a real delight in the morning.

Right infront of the hotel there is a Piazza which on the weekend sometimes is frequented by some people before they go out. This means we sometimes heard them talking during the night, but we ended always up being able to sleep anyways. It may be a problem for people with very light sleep tho, but I believe that some earplugs would also solve this

We order a taxi from the hotel. There was a traffic jam and we required to pay and keep walking last 100 meters before the Central station/our final destination/. At that time the taxi driver got mad, charged us more than a double, triple - he charged us for miles, number of passengers and for suitcases ?! Was rude. More or less the taxi was called by the hotel and we trusted, but not for. We recommend to the Hotel’s management to think about policy and to call only trusted taxi companies, not to disappoint the guests.

Great Location. Rooms extremely clean. Staff were super helpful l. Special thanks to Piero, Sergio? , Bruno and the very nice gentleman who helps at breakfast and i didnt manage to get his name, but he helped us remember Leicester winning the 2016 season. We were delayed on arrival due to flights and the staff were amazing in helping us.

Only slight groan is Wifi signal could have been better; but you are not in Florence to surf the web!

Good size room. We booked the 2 bedroom suite so it was convenient for our family. Breakfast was great. Beds were comfy. They let us drop our luggage the morning of our arrival (prior to check in). Right next door to Accademia Museum and close to Duomo. Looked over the square so atmosphere was neat.

Pillows were kinda flat. Couldnt figure out ac and it was too loud to keep windows open at night
