The room was great, nothing to complain. Everything was new and organized, and everyday there was room service. They provided shampoo and body soap, towels, electric kettle, air conditioning, TV (but only local channels). There was a balcony with a little view for the city.

The location is not that good, it's very far from the city center, you have to get a bus to arrive close or a tram to arrive a little far, which is a problem at night because it's a little creepy. The bus stop working before midnight so you have to be alert not to return late. Also, there is a city-turistic fee that you have to pay in the check-in that I was not expecting, for 4 days I payed 18 euros.

Great hotel with nice rooms . Well located. Although away from the centre it is well connected .

A simple matter - maybe give the customers an option to open the rooms with a card rather than using the mobile app.

I appreciate the warm and personalized service from Francesco to Alejndro, Andrea in whatsapp, and Julie at breakfast. The place was charming and cozy, and music was great all the time. Food, dessert and drinks were also very good. The room was spacious and amenities were sufficient, i was able to unpack and hang all my clothes for the week. It was good to have a balcony. I enjoyed opening the door since it was already chilly in the mornings. The hotel was a short and pleasant walk to the tram station.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn there was no laundry service they could do for me. I was instead referred to a self-service laundry less than a minute from the hotel, which worked out fine.

All of the hotel staff were so nice and accommodating. We arrived early, they stowed our luggage, then put it in our room for us while we toured Florence. The patio area was really lovely, especially at night with all of the lights. The waiter went out of his way to make a special cocktail for my daughter. I wish we had eaten here. The food being served to other guests looked delicious. The hotel is very clean. This hotel is close to the airport. The hotel staff arranged for a taxi for us for 5am and the taxi driver was on time and very pleasant. The hotel is only about 3 blocks from the tram line that runs from the Florence train station out to the airport. Getting to the hotel on the tram line was easy. Take the T2 tram line from Florence to the Guidoni stop (the last one before the airport). You can find directions to the hotel on your phone map from there. Its only about a 3 block walk.

Our hotel room was very clean but there were not enough electrical outlets and the lighting in the room was sparse. The check in experience using the app was a bit of a challenge and the staff had to help me, but they were very nice about it. If you arrive late at night there will be no front desk staff to help you so you have to do everything on the app.

Hotel Franchi was a great stay near the airport that allowed us to easily pick up our rental car in the morning after arriving. We were worried the check in process with remote key card access would be a hassle due to others' reviews but I followed the instructions sent via email before the trip and things went pretty well. I received a last minute email to verify our passports which was through an online portal that was not working well on mobile so we were unable to do that until we were there in person but Francesco the host did it quickly in person when we arrived. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. We booked a quad room and our beds were a double and a bunk bed so not the comfiest but did the trick. The outside patio area had a DJ playing fun electronic music in the evening so we enjoyed playing cards and dining out there. Our dinner was delicious, the lasagna and eggplant parmaggiano were delicious! Francesco also helped call us a cab in the morning which was very quick and exactly what we needed.

Beds could have been little comfier. Check in process to verify passports could have been easier.

As we walked into the property, I knew that I would like it. Franco, the owner was a fantastic guy who came up to me as soon as I walked in and talked me through the entire system and let us check in early.  the situation was perfect because at this point in our Acacian we just need to rest and be close to the airport so the hotel having dinner available was great and we had a lot of fun there.

I can’t see if there’s anything that we didn’t like about the property. We loveItaly and the beautiful old buildings old cities and I was a nice change to have a brand new beautiful, high tech hotel for our last night.

Location was super close to the airport, great to have a front desk person most of the day on site, s was very friendly and helpful, they have a small restaurant on site, a cute balcony area outside to sit and eat, rooms are updated small simple but sufficient.

They have a keyless electronic system which needed you to download an app. Convenient if you have cell recpetion/ wifi to correspond with them in advance to receive their email and have time to download the app, but inconvenient when you don't have cell reception/ wifi prior to checking in and you arrive after hours and there's no person at the front desk.

I was working at Florence airport for the week and needed somewhere close to stay. this ticked all the boxes. The room was clean, the AC worked, the bathroom was clean, there were sockets, a desk and a chair to work at and a safe. I love the concept of using my phone/watch to unlock the door, and it could not have been better. L'osteria dela bistecca is close so that was a major plus! multiple scooters and bicycles available to ride into town, or esselunga, etc.

it's a bit difficult to walk to the airport, but manageable as to avoid crossing the motorway.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, although we thought the hotel would have no staff as we were told to do everything by a phone app (even room key!), but staff welcomed us and even helped us with transportation into the city and booking a taxi (although it never arrived in the morning...). Hotel was fresh, as well as our room, clean towels and a fresh smell to the whole room. The hotel is located roughly 15 minutes walkway from the airport (but we went by taxi), so for the location solely I would recommend this. But the whole experience was very plesant and we could definitely stay at Hotel Franchi, were we to come to Florence again!

Only two minor things: beds and pillows were extremely firm and the doors weren't very sound proof so we could hear quite a lot from the corridor.

The hotel is conveniently located at the airport early in the morning. It’s impossible to walk to the airport, but it’s only a short taxi ride away. The staff was amazing. So generous and friendly. The hotel has a little patio that invites you to sit outside for a moment or eat dinner. Staff prepared fresh salad for me upon request and was just above and beyond. The rooms are OK. Basic, but we only stayed there for a night because we had a 6:30 AM flight.

I disliked the automated key system. To get set up we had to exchange countless text messages and emails.
