Very nice staff that really cares about their customers and wants them to have a great time in Florence. The hotel had an issue with the air conditioning the day we arrived and since it was a public holiday there was nothing to be done. But the manager called us on the morning of the day, explained the problem and offered us to refund, or going to a partner hotel or staying without air conditioning for a discounted price. We chose to stay and are very happy about it. They found rooms that were relatively cool, welcomed us with fresh water in the evening, recommended sightseeing places in the area and asked about our day when we returned. Never felt that welcome in a hotel as we did here :-)

The hotel is clean and tidy, locating in the city centre. I like the old style of the decorations in the hotel and the facilities inside the rooms are in good conditions. It only takes 7 or 8 mintues to walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria. There are some good restaurants and convient shop besides too. The receptionists are very nice. They could help keeping luggages for free. When we left, the receptionists gave each of us a bottle of water as a gift. Strongly recommended!

Location. It’s close to everything but on a relatively quieter street. Wi-Fi is good. The room was spacious. It’s located on the 2nd floor of a historical building. Entering the door and taking the elevator were a fascinating experience. Breakfast was basic but nice. The breakfast room was nice and cozy. Staff was very nice and friendly and helpful.

The room was dated. One of the mattresses/beds was broken. It made lots of noise even when just light turning and tossing. The sound proof was poor. We could hear people outside of the room door, people buzzing, entering and existing the outside door very clearly. Squeaky floor on the hall way which we could hear from inside the room.

The location of the hotel is gorgeous. The staff is friendly. The first impression was very good. Not everyone will like that there was a pleasant smell in the room, but I'm not a fan of foreign smells

As in most hotels - wooden doors are very bad at delaying sound. At night I heard the conversations of the staff at the reception. When leaving, I decided to take a bath. The water pressure was very weak and it was almost cold. Because of this, the morning was very darkened. Very noisy hood in the bathroom

We really liked the location of this hotel. We walked from the train station, pushing our full size roller bags. We walked in the evening and felt very safe. There were several restaurants and other amenities very close. It was also in easy walking range to see Michelangelo's works and the Duomo. The staff was kind at the front desk, they spoke English and we were able to store our bags easily. The room was clean and reasonable.

The location is not the most prestigious, but the Goldoni place is within walking distance of most attractions. If you plan walking tours to both sides of Arno, the Godoni place is the best choice to start from.

The nearest kiosks are about 200-300 meters away. You can buy water and soda bottles at the front desk, though. The shower booth is a bit claustrophobic with a small one-person area and sliding doors, but it was okay with me.

We checked in and were immediately notified of all the amenities. They told us a few places to eat and one of the restaurants was so delicious, we went 2 times in our 4 night stay. The room was adorable and very romantic. It had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view. The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was served every morning and included fresh coffee drinks and juice. I loved this place! It was perfect walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station and all of the main museums and sights.

I love how much this hotel was committed to being sustainable and managing energy, with that being said, between my boyfriend and I, we had to be very creative with charging our phones/tablets because you needed to put your key in to make the power work. This meant we couldn't leave things to charge while we were sightseeing. Not a terribly bad thing at all, but it was the one thing we had to work around.

Great location ,10 minute walk to most big tourist attractions and near the river,quiet neighbourhood and great restaurants just across the bridge 5 minute walk from hotel.Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good in nice shared area very easy to get hot water/ coffee to take to room .

Room bit dark as our window looked onto brick wall so would ask for room overlooking street. Toilet seat was broken ,staff tried to fix it but due to local holiday no one able to come.Room was comfortable enough but could do with some updating / refreshing .

The hotel was in a great location to visit the city centre, it was clean and quiet, the staff was very kind and accomodating for a family with very young children. The room was big enough for us and they provided us a cot for our 4 months old baby. The blackout blinds in the room worked pretty well and let the babies sleep a bit longer in the morning (although our window faced an internal patio, so not much of a view, but it also meant that it was a bit quieter). The breakfast room was very clean and tidy. The hotel was also in a great position to reach the train station (less than 10 minutes walk).

If I really need to find something we didn't like it was the coffee provided with the breakfast included and the breakfast buffet in general. The coffee from that machine was really not nice and it was not a great start of the day. Overall the breakfast buffet was quite small and mostly included sweet food, on the first day there were not that many options, but the day after we went a bit earlier and it was a bit better. They do have a separate bar in the breakfast room and a proper coffee machine and the prices were good, so I guess you could order a better coffee, but we didn't try it while we were there.

The location was unbeatable. It was close to pretty much everything I wanted to do, and the elevator was a lifesaver! Also, having someone at reception 24/7 was great.

It was really confusing to figure out how to get in when I first arrived. I wish they would've provided more directions on how to contact the staff when I wanted to get in.
