Staff were incredibly attentive, polite and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was not your usual hotel room as it was exceptionally large and a bed to match. Comfortable night sleep.

The noise! Where our room (in the basement) was located we were just below road level so you had the noise of traffic and people outside the window, we also the staff entrance next to our room so there were constant noise of staff arriving, leaving and chatting. I appreciate these things cannot be helped, but given the price of stay at the hotel it would have been good to know beforehand. However, the purchase of ear plugs and being exhausted from days of exploring the beautiful city; it didn't continue to be a problem after the first night.

Beautiful! It’s like being transformed into another era. We stayed in the room that had been the grandmother’s piano room. It was stunning. The rooftop garden was so beautiful! Service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious.

The only possible complaint is that it isn’t very quiet, but that is to be expected given that the palace is in the center of the city.

This is the most luxurious, low key hotel in the world. It is in a renovated 16th (or so) century building with exquisite furnishings. Sometimes luxurious hotels make me uptight with all the hovering by staff but not here. They are invisible unless you need them, warm, happy to help in any way. Check in is to the right as you enter the courtyard, then someone will escort you to your room. Our room, The Studio, which is actually a one bedroom, was spacious, crisp, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed -- including a small tucked-away mini kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, dishes to cook. Very unexpected. Bed was beyond comfortable and made up with fresh linens daily, something that often doesn't happen post COVID. Breakfast is made to order with Continental also available. Pastries and juices are available all day. The hotel is about a block from the river, a 7 minute walk from the train station, and 15 minutes to the Uffizi. Perfect location to see beautiful Florence then return to the best hotel the city has to offer.

Not a thing.

The staff were very attentive. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The cakes that were cooked daily, the fresh fruit and water (sparkling and non sparkling) that were left for the guests to take when they pleased throughout the day was a nice touch. The hotel was within walking distance to all the major sites.

The main room in the apartment was a bit dark, so even though we had the opportunity to cook a meal, all the appliances were in a cupboard (stove top and microwave), so it was very difficult to see what you were doing. Breakfast was served at 8am which is a bit late if you need to head out early for a tour or to catch a train. Also, only breakfast cereals, croissants and rolls were available for self serve, there was a menu for toast, eggs, bacon, fruit platters etc. which take time to cook/prepare so breakfast can take a lot longer and once again may not be viable if you have an early start.

The hotel is near the river, and only 10 minutes walk to the Cathedral and The Uffizi Galleries. We even walked to and back from Piazzale Michelangelo one day. We booked the loft, both beds are comfortable. In such a city center location, the hotel was amazingly quiet. We didn’t use the kitchen but it’s well equipped. Staff here are friendly and helpful. The tea room where we can enjoy some tea and snacks after a long walk in the hot weather is such a nice arrangement. We all love it!

If I have to be picky, wifi at downstair in the loft was weak. But we brought our own mobile wifi so it didn’t bother us.

The property is exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautifully decorated and well kept. My room (rosso) was huge. Breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful dining room (during summer they open the garden for breakfast). Staff wonderful (specially at the breakfast) and promptly attended all my requests. Close to the main attractions and train station. We just took taxi for the station because of our large suitcases. The experience of staying in a 16th century place was amazing.

Sheets could be more soft and a pillow top over the mattress would be nice.

Everything was excellent from the moment you step through the entrance. The Palazzo is maintained to a very high standard, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff are highly attentive. The breakfast is excellent with a broad range of different pastries, cereals and a la carte options. There is car parking available which is very handy if you are travelling around the region. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The location of the Palazzo is also excellent, with all of the main attractions easily within walking distance.

Nothing!

Our stay was short but lovely. The hotel is in a great location within Florence and although it's close to all the touristy/famous destinations within the city, it's tucked away on a quiet street. The hotel has a lovely garden terrace to enjoy, we had our breakfast there each day, but it's open all hours should you want to use it other times of day. The staff, specifically Federica, were awesome and always made us feel welcomed. We had a lovely stay and definitely recommend this hotel for others.

Our room faced a courtyard and it was a little bit noisy from time to time, but this impacted us minimally.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 5 nights at the end of March. The staff were so welcoming, professional, friendly and helpful. We booked the studio which had a bedroom (with a huge very comfy bed) with a separate large lounge area. Luxurious, comfortable accommodation. Delicious breakfast - much of which was cooked to order. A bonus having a garden to sit out in. Great location, easy walk to all key sites and travel hubs. A special hotel which made our visit to Florence very memorable. Thank you to the wonderful team.

There was nothing we didn't like!

The hotel was magnificent. The backyard was dreamy and the breakfast was excellent. The suite ceilings with their paintings were truly amazing, an experience from Renaissance. And room was very big. Also staff was very kind and helpful. Location was close to everything by foot, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Repubblica, Santa Maria Novella, Duomo, were all a few minutes away.

When I booked, booking.com said that that the suite has two bedrooms, one with a very large bed and one with two single beds. What we encountered was indeed one bedroom with a huge bed and a living room with an extra bed in the middle of it. I don’t know if it was our fault but we expected that the 3rd person would sleep in a regular bedroom instead of a bed in the living room. It’s mattress was great though, so ok on the sleeping part, this just ruined a little the concept of the suite as there was constantly a bed (and clothes/suitcase) of a person inside the living room, so 3rd person had no privacy during the day. We were overall satisfied as everything else was great, but we would prefer to have known this in advance.
